SAHM'S

See above comments, since I didn't actually use the service, in the end.

I was pricing deli trays at all the usual suspects - supermarkets, delis, etc. Then, I happened upon Sahm's name in Angie's List, with a stellar rating. I downloaded their menu and realized that they would provide all the things I was likely to forget. I wanted deli trays so I didn't think of using a caterer - a supermarket would be fine. Then I realized I would need rolls and condiments and lettuce and tomatoes and when would I have time to prepare all that! For about $12 per person (and it was GENEROUS), we had everything we needed. For a little more I added an extra dessert and we'll be eating carrot cake for a while! They provided banquet tablecloths (linen), plates, napkins, plastic silverware, serving utensils, plus all the food - deli meat, condiments, pickles, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, bread (3 kinds). The and quot;deluxeand quot; also came with some excellent salads. Enough about the food. It was good. You've got the idea. As with any event, I was worried about them delivering everything correctly and on time. Not only were they on time, they were actually a bit early (which was fine). The deliveryman (Anthony - super nice) called me and I met him at the door. He brought everything in and helped me load it into the fridge. I think he would have set up my tables for me, but since he was a bit early, I wasn't sure how it was all going to be set up. In short, they took a LOT of the stress out of the event planning and everyone LOVED the food. Simple, delicious, on time, and, did I say and quot;simpleand quot;?

The event was a success and I would use this company again.

I'VE BEEN TO SAHM'S BEFORE AND WANTED TO TAKE MY FAMILY THERE ONE NIGHT AFTER AN ATHLETIC EVENT IN FISHERS. I'D RAVED ABOUT THEIR FOOD TO THEM BEFORE, AND WAS EXCITED TO SHOW THEM OFF TO MY FAMILY. I WAS QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AT THE RESTAURANT THAT EVENING. IT WAS A SATURDAY NIGHT, BUT IT WAS ABOUT 8:30PM, SO IT WASN'T JAM PACKED, CROWDED OR ANYTHING. IT TOOK ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES TO GET WATER AND SILVERWARE AT OUR TABLE. IN FACT, WE DIDN'T SEE OUR SERVER UNTIL IT HAD BEEN A 15 MIN. WAIT AT THE TABLE. OUR FOOD WAS WRONG WHEN IT WAS BROUGHT OUT, AND IT TOOK A TOTAL OF 65 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE SAT DOWN TO GET SERVED OUR DINNER. MY HUSBAND SAID HE'D NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I TOLD THE HOSTESS ON OUR WAY OUT, AND SHE SAID, "I'M SORRY, WE WERE REALLY BUSY EARLIER, AND I GUESS YOU JUST CAME AT A BAD TIME." NOT WHAT A CUSTOMER WANTS TO HEAR AT ALL. SHE DIDN'T OFFER TO HAVE THE MANAGER TALK WITH ME OR ANYTHING. SAHM'S JUST LOST A GREAT OPPORTUNITY DUE TO POOR SERVICE.

AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS.
