fine, the mower wasn't working; now it works well. All summer it has worked.

We purchased our lawn mower from here about a year ago and we use them to perform annual tuneups. It's nice to ensure that our lawn mower is in good working order every year and we enjoy having a self propelled mower for exercise! They sell all sorts of lawn equipment there and are knowledgeable about all of it. Their service department is excellent and we are always very well taken care of.

They did a good job on that. They came and took my tractor out there and serviced it. We had a little issue for a moment but everything was taken care of. They had to do a lot on the tractor.

We received a flyer for tractor service from the business and decided to sign up for service. When we contacted the service department to schedule pick we were asked if we use it in the winter and we advised them yes to snow plow drive. The service depart stated good and they would put it in the batch to work first and should be about 14 days.

We contacted the service department after 3 weeks  on 12 December who advised there are no hours on it and we reminded them it was supposed to be done. The service department advised they would expedite and have a tech call.

Needless to say we have not heard anything and called again today 19 December. The service department stated no hours clocked on it. We asked if we could expedite and was advised that with the snow everything got pushed back. Advised the service man that it was supposed to be done, marked for snow and he responded it was not marked for snow use.

At wits end we asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and the response was there are none, all gone for the Holidays. We asked if there is anybody that could take ownership of this issue and no was the response.

In the end we asked if the could deliver it back to use since it was pickup/deliever service? We discovered they could deliver it back to us Saturday but we will not be home.

We are stuck with poor service, poor customer service and no tractor

Not Happy

One week later, the tractor is done and they delivered it to the house.  The mower desk was missing a wheel pin and we had the same filter on it as we did before the service.  Service Fails, customer service fails, management fails and delivery drive who returned the tractor was the most professional of the bunch.

This was such an unbelievable and exceptional experience that I wanted to share. I usually just want to get in and get out of a store but if I had the time I could have stayed there for hours! I talked to Gary over the phone before I came in and he somehow "recognized" me when I came in asked about the blower. After purchasing the blower I couldn't believe it when Gary said he would unpack and assemble the blower and test it out. He then went over the operation with me to make sure I understood the product. Gary, who has been with the company for over 14 years, also went into great detail on the design and performance of the Deere 300 Series tractors - next on my list at Reynolds.

While I was there I thought I would ask if they had a specialty pneumatic fitting to save me another trip to the hardware store. They directed me to Dennis who had been with the company for over 40 years. He quickly found this hard to find part and again shared his great experience at Reynolds and the history. It was past quitting time so he shared the work he had done with Purdue University on a critical paper on The Selection and Inspection of Hoses - really interesting for me anyway being a Mechanical Engineer. I could have talked to him for hours!

I've enjoyed Reynolds Christmas lights for the past 10 years since I have lived in Fishers, but this was my first visit

to the inside of their store - really looking forward to my next visit!

Poorly. They said it would take 7-10 days. I understood as it was spring and I knew that they would be busy. After two weeks I called and the said to call back the next week; I did. I was told it wasn't ready and to call again. At the end of three full weeks I went to the store. They shocked to find out that I had purchased the line trimmer there and that it was still on warranty. Obviously, they had the information in  their system. More promises. After five full weeks the job was completed which was good seeing that I had weeds hip deep. The only saving grace and a reprieve from an "F" is that they delivered the trimmer to my residence. All of this could have been avoided if they told me that itr would take a month in the first place. I simply would have gone somewhere else.

I called last week and said I would like them to replace the drive belt on my walk behind mower and gave the gentleman the model number.  I spoke with Gavin and asked him how much it would cost.  He said about $13 for the belt and $30 for the labor.  I brought it in a couple of days later, dropped it off, and again asked how much it would cost.  I was told the same amount.  Earlier this week I got a call from a repair person who said the cost would be $84.  I stated what I was told the cost would be, and then we entered into a conversation where he told me the person should never have given me a price.   After my explaining that how would I know he was not to say anything about the cost, the repair person and I agreed on a $50. price.  (I paid $48.06.)  In my opinion, this situation concerning their communications problem does not speak well of how the repair shop functions.  Moreover, I just removed the mower from my SUV and found the back wheels are locking up and not moving freely, and this was not a problem when I dropped it off.  Therefore, I will now have to talk with them about this new problem.  Please note the people were pleasant, but their lack of understanding regarding who is to say what when asked for how much a repair will cost...this is a substantial issue.

They were helpful on the phone scheduling and quoting prices, including matching a lower competitive price for the annual maintenance services.  Pickup and delivery was scheduled and accomplished as expected and at no additional cost.  The tractor came back running well, cleaned and adjusted.  I will use their services again.

Overall, a very good experience.  They did excellent work in the time frame they committed to, provided friendly and timely communication, and did more than asked for in cleaning up the tractor.  This is the only money I have had to invest in this tractor in 9 years, and I have no reason to think it won't go for another 9-10 years with reasonable maintenance and an occasional visit to the "pros".

I have a mower that needed repaired.  First the pick up was delayed because of the rain.  Next, the lawnmower took 2 weeks longer than expected.  Every time that I called I was told something different and promised several times that my mower would be back soon.  Finally, after asking that my mower be brought back, and saying I would get it fixed somewhere else, it is supposed to be brought back this afternoon.

The repairs went well. Howerver when the snowblower was returned three screws were missing from the acces cover to the engine. I went to their store and bought three screws to replace those missing and they also gave me a scematic of the cover and the parts needed. When I attempted to install the screws there appeared to be no threaded part in which to screw into. I removed the two remaing screw attaching the cover to see what the problem was. To attach the three bottom screws. there are three threaded tabs. The center one was broken off so only the two end screws couuld be used. For the upper two screw there was absolutely nothing to screw into.. The scematic showed that nuts should be available. I wrote them asking that when the snow season is over they take the machine back and at least replace the parts they apparently lost to attach the two upper screws. THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY LETTER

Called on Saturday morning and spoke to Matt about a mower for residential use. He talked about the three models in the John Deere line and also one used model on hand. I made a stop in their store about a half hour before their closing time of 4:00 p.m. I originally thought their closing time was 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays which was very helpful with my schedule that day. After talking about our needs, Matt suggested the model that we ended up purchasing from him which was the rear drive self-propelled model. I used it that evening for the first time and really like the variable speed in response to the light push to activate the self-propel action. I mow at my own pace instead of that of the mower, unlike my previous mower's set speed.

I would call them to ask about it and they would say just a couple more days, every time I called it was always two days later. If I would have known they would keep it that long, I would have taken it to them during a less busy time. I wouldn’t hire them again.

I had shopped around for a while looking for the right tractor/riding mower, and chose Reynolds since the price did not vary amongst dealers, and Reynolds was going to do the service regardless of where I purchased it. The salesman was a bit rude, but the delivery person was great. The delivery guy explained many things that the salesperson did not, which was incredibly helpful, including what kind of maintenance should be done. The purchase eventually was made over the phone for a next day delivery (which was fantastic).

We took our lawn mower to them for routine service. They always do a good job and the price is reasonable. They delivered the mower back to us which saved us the struggle of lifting the mower into our car.

The repairman was excellent. He really knew what he was doing. He worked fast. It was a little expensive but it is working now so that is good. He explained things very well as he was doing them. He did not mind that I stayed out there and watched him.

Technician arrived at scheduled time and completed service on tractor. Unfortunately during the service process the maintenance truck wench mechanism caused a bit of damage to the garage door. Without a hassle, Reynolds Farm Equipment assumed complete liability for the repair and returned the garage door to its previous state.

I was very disappointed in the service. I called after 1 1/2 weeks to get the status since it should have been finished. It hadn't even been started. I made several more calls over the next couple of weeks, and was finally told it was ready. It had been more than 3 weeks. They said they would drop it off (since I paid for this service). When we tried to start it, the horrible noise that made me call for repair in the first place was still happening. They came to my house to check it out, and agreed it wasn't right. When I contacted them to get status, I was told that it needed a new starter, and they didn't notify me of this originally because they didn't think I would want to pay for a new one. (Not really their decision to make). I was told it would be another $280 to have it fixed. I was extremely unhappy, because I had already paid over $200. They agreed to do the starter at cost and waive the labor charge, but it took another 1 1/2 weeks to complete.

The lawn mower is in good shape. The final price matched the estimate, but they charged $800 in labor for a job that took one day, which I believe is inflated. Since they had to clean out a mouse nest, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did not complain.
