We received a flyer for tractor service from the business and decided to sign up for service. When we contacted the service department to schedule pick we were asked if we use it in the winter and we advised them yes to snow plow drive. The service depart stated good and they would put it in the batch to work first and should be about 14 days.
We contacted the service department after 3 weeks on 12 December who advised there are no hours on it and we reminded them it was supposed to be done. The service department advised they would expedite and have a tech call.
Needless to say we have not heard anything and called again today 19 December. The service department stated no hours clocked on it. We asked if we could expedite and was advised that with the snow everything got pushed back. Advised the service man that it was supposed to be done, marked for snow and he responded it was not marked for snow use.
At wits end we asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and the response was there are none, all gone for the Holidays. We asked if there is anybody that could take ownership of this issue and no was the response.
In the end we asked if the could deliver it back to use since it was pickup/deliever service? We discovered they could deliver it back to us Saturday but we will not be home.
We are stuck with poor service, poor customer service and no tractor
Not Happy
One week later, the tractor is done and they delivered it to the house. The mower desk was missing a wheel pin and we had the same filter on it as we did before the service. Service Fails, customer service fails, management fails and delivery drive who returned the tractor was the most professional of the bunch.
This was such an unbelievable and exceptional experience that I wanted to share. I usually just want to get in and get out of a store but if I had the time I could have stayed there for hours! I talked to Gary over the phone before I came in and he somehow "recognized" me when I came in asked about the blower. After purchasing the blower I couldn't believe it when Gary said he would unpack and assemble the blower and test it out. He then went over the operation with me to make sure I understood the product. Gary, who has been with the company for over 14 years, also went into great detail on the design and performance of the Deere 300 Series tractors - next on my list at Reynolds.
While I was there I thought I would ask if they had a specialty pneumatic fitting to save me another trip to the hardware store. They directed me to Dennis who had been with the company for over 40 years. He quickly found this hard to find part and again shared his great experience at Reynolds and the history. It was past quitting time so he shared the work he had done with Purdue University on a critical paper on The Selection and Inspection of Hoses - really interesting for me anyway being a Mechanical Engineer. I could have talked to him for hours!
I've enjoyed Reynolds Christmas lights for the past 10 years since I have lived in Fishers, but this was my first visit
to the inside of their store - really looking forward to my next visit!Licensing
