About us
Property Menders is a general handyman service company. While currently operating as a one man company, as demand for services grow, additional employees will be hired. We do not currently subcontract work but may recommend specialty contractors if the work is beyond the capability or capacity of Property Menders. Indiana does not require a license for handyman services. We will not accept jobs or complete work in areas where licensing is required. Being a single employee company, we are not currently bonded, as this presents little value to the company or customer. When additional employees are hired, Property Menders will secure the appropriate bonds to protect and reassure our customers. We work on a time and materials basis. Base estimates are provided, but the customer should realize that additional cost may be incurred for unknown or unforeseen issues. We don't charge material markup, but do charge for time to pick up materials. We charge a higher first hour rate which includes a trip charge. We have a one hour minimum for each trip.
