This store used to be my go to store for pool product. Sue, who worked there for years was super. Now she has just retired, the replacement people are horrible. They will try everything to sell more stuff to you. The first time I was there, the new lady (I forgot her name) ask what kind of filter I have. I told her sand filter. She then told me the sand in the filter should be changed twice a year. Are you kidding? nobody would recommend that. My sand filter was last changed 3 years ago. It cleared up my swampy pool this year within 3 days! I guess it works just fine.

The second time I went there to get my pool water checked. Same lady tested it and told me everything was off the chart. pH was way too low, CYA level is only 15, alkalinity was 20. So she recommended me to add a whole bunch of stuff. Since I just added a whole bottle of CYA, I found her result suspicious. I took my sample to the nearby Leslie's pool store. Guess what? everything was fine. pH was 7.4, CYA was 70, Alkalinity was 140.

My advice to my fellow pool owners at Fishers, IN: stay away from Pool of Fun at Brook school road if you don't want to be ripped off!

Victor was very professional and explained what was going on. We had trouble getting suction when opening the pool for the season and he found that there was debris in the impeller inside the pump. He gave advice to prevent that from happening again and took the time to answer all questions.

Very pleased with the experience. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Fee was reasonable as well. Needed an inspection of a pool at a home that my client was purchasing. He was the only 1 of 5 pool companies that I called with 24 hours notice who confirmed immediately. He showed up on time and was very professional. Will use this company again for pool inspections for real estate transactions.

Top notch operation!  Sue, the store's mainstay, has great knowledge of pool chemistry, knows how to fix our cloudy pool and always treats us as a student. She is very patient when speaking, she makes sure you know how to do and what to do when it comes to her recommendations.  This type of customer service speaks volumes to the kind of company that Pools of Fun is.  I highly recommend their services and products for pools and spas.

They do a good job analyzing the pool.  It's nice to be able to bring a sample and have them do the testing.  They have been very helpful whenever we've needed them.

They gave us a brochure with color/pattern options and gave us an estimate.  Then when the weather warmed up, they called to schedule.  They came on time and finished the work the same day.  We were very pleased with the result.

I deal with them frequently and I'm probably in there couple of times a week bringing in pool samples.  The staff is friendly and they seem to be right on, in telling you how to maintain your pool.  One thing that I don't have to worry about is, I can just bring the sample in and they will test it and tell me what I need to it.  I like that and they are really good that way.  I haven't really compared so much and I don’t know of who carry some of those chemicals.  Compared to the catalog may be they are less than more expensive.  I don't buy my chlorine from them but buy it from a different shop where it's cheaper.  Sometimes there can be long lines but you can always leave your sample.

They are absolutely the best place to go for pool chemical testing. Sue is so helpful and walked me through all the chemicals we needed to put in the pool throughout the summer. Even when the chemical balance went haywire, she patiently explained the process and told us what step to take every day. I highly recommend them for your pool needs.

We were not able to balance the chemicals in our pool. They worked with us for weeks to get it balanced and educated us on preventive things to do to avoid having to close our pool for weeks. They called us when they had was a sale on chemicals.

Throughout the entire process of installation headed up by Dan Hignight there have been several issues. They got stuck on our yard several times tearing up the yard, even tearing up our irrigation system which had to be replaced entirely front and back for the damage they did in one area. We had permission to go through one of our neighbors yards, they entered from the wrong yard and left a dumpster in their yard. On their way out they ran into our basketball goal which, six weeks later is still leaning after promises to repair. While moving the sump pump pipe they accidentally separated the pipe from the pump which then allowed the pump to empty directly into our finished basement, which has not been taken care of completely. It is dried out and there are holes in the wall where they have attempted to find the break. They asked another company that was already working on our home to fix it, it then took them a month to issue a check for the work prohibiting the work from starting, and even when the check was issued it was for less money that it should have been. We had to keep on Dan continually calling him to complete the punch list which is still unfinished. I would not recommend them to anyone for pool installation.

We went to see the folks at Pools of Fun and explained our problem. They said it was a common problem due to the mild winter. Heather was extremely helpful and gave us the exact regimen we should follow to rid the pool of the mold. She explained that it might take 2-3 treatments, but if we followed the specific instructions, the pool would be clean. We followed the instructions and although it took us nearly 3 weeks to get the pool totally clean, it worked! We had no problems with our pool the remainder of the summer. We will continue to seek advice and buy pool chemicals from Pools of Fun - they know what they are talking about.
