Very well. Gary Oliver was incredibly responsive and quick to the job. He prepared a detailed estimate and did the job within days of our approval of same. Gary is a professional: capable, polite, respectful, and prompt.

The ridge vents were roofed over and covered.  Upon my complaint, he came out and redid it to expose the roof vent as it should be. I had to pay for material he covered labor.  
There have been a few spots where the flashing wasn't right and/or the rubber membrane was off causing leaking.
Several spots were present where rotten beams and decking had been roofed over and not repaired.  He came and corrected one, but was going to charge to repair the large rotten beam so I had someone else do it.  It would have been visible when the roof was replaced (a small piece of new decking was nailed on top of the rotten beam, which tells me the problem was visible and noticed).
I would suggest if considering this contractor for a new roof, have him remove the old roof and inspect the entire thing personally prior to a new roof being put on.  Also, make sure to note what vents you have and make sure they are taken into account when the roof is put on (i.e. not covered up and rendered inoperable).

I hired Gary twice to repair leaks that were coming in from the first floor ceiling.  We had three other contractors provide opinions as to what was causing the leaks.  But none of the other three really seemed confident in their answers.  Gary came by and investigated the matter quite thoroughly.  He came back with a repair that no other contractors had thought of.
Gary and his partner installed and sealed flashing.  They painted the affected areas (matched paint!) and replaced a few shingles.
The most important thing is: 1) there is no longer a leak, 2) I climbed up and examined the work and it appears unlikely that I will have future leaks - he went above and beyond.
He did the work as promised and on time.

Got a free roof inspection offer from Oliver Roofing (Oliver Construction) in June. A senior project manager, Tom Hurter, was assigned to our case. After inspection we were told that sufficient hail damages have been found on our roof and gutters for an insurance claim. So we filed the claim following the clear instructions Tom gave us.
To be safe we also contacted two other well-rated roofing companies from Angie's List to inspect our roof for hail damages. But both of them told us that our roof does not have sufficient hail damages for insurance claim. Then we had insurance adjuster's report indicating that our roof did have sufficient hail damages and we could get roof/gutters replaced with the payment from our insurance claim. We received the first check from insurance and we shopped around for roof installers. We got four quotes from Oliver and three other well-rated roofing companies from Angie's List. Only Oliver could do the job with the insurance's estimated payment amount. The other three company's quotes were all higher than what insurance was willing to pay. Oliver also offered free upgrade to architectural shingles with life time warranty instead of the 3-tab shingles with 25-year warranty specified in the insurance's estimates.
Installation of the 4023 SqFt roof was very smooth. We picked a date and Oliver was flexible enough to accommodate it. The crews came as scheduled and the installation took a little bit more than a day. The crews did a good job installing the roof and cleaning up after completion. Got some minor glitches with the gutters installation. But the crews came back and fixed it promptly.
Tom is experienced, responsive, very easy to work with, and keeps his words. I have recommended Tom to my friends and they all liked him. I wanted to share this great experience dealing with Oliver Roofing, specifically Tom, through this review. I would use them again if needed in future and highly recommend Tom Hurter from Oliver.

He was great. He was responsive and very prompt. He was very good. They came on time. I was there and I saw what they did. Everything was great. They fit me in because I live out of state. They went above and beyond in trying to help me. While they were doing it they asked my advice and it was great the way they did it.

They did an excellent job, did exactly what they said and cleaned up well. My only thought was, I wish they had made aware of the options before they started the work. I heard later that there were different options that they never made me aware of. It was a big crew that was clean and finished the work quickly.

They were extremely, competitively priced. They showed up when they said they would. They did the work they said they would do and on time. Everyone was neat and clean and kept a tidy work site. Everyone was polite.
