I give my highest endorsement to Tracie Nix as a Real Estate Professional. Tracey Nix and her staff helped me with my last home purchase. In my adult life, I have purchased 5 different houses involving real estate agents. I am also regularly involved with real estate agents through my work. Tracie was truly a cut above. Tracie has a keen understanding of her market and the trends in the industry. I can’t say enough about the care and professionalism she showed. Tracie and her team were relentless in their efforts to help me find the right place, tailoring their efforts to my needs and my very specific preferences. She quickly gained an understanding of who I was, what I was looking for and consistently pointed me in smart directions. She has scrupulous attention to detail and consistently found properties that were real possibilities. But she never pandered with fake salesmanship. When we went through houses, she had a sharp eye and noticed problems that I did not. In all of our dealings she seemed more like a family member looking to help me as a person, not a glad-hander trying to simply advance the sales process. I saw many houses, over multiple days, during a rather extended search. She was patient and remained diligent and involved long after others would have moved on to easier clients. In a market that favored the seller, she helped me understand where the traps were and helped me see the entire picture. There were some houses I considered seriously. Most agents would have just pushed the sale and looked to make the fastest commission possible. But Tracie always seemed more interested in helping me find what I was looking for at the right price, not just finding the fastest commission available. She eventually walked into a home and knew it was perfect for me. She got me there immediately, knowing it would not last long. It had everything I was hoping for and more. I quickly knew I wanted it to be my home. She took the lead in getting me a fair deal that I still believe was very favorable to me. I negotiate as part of my occupation, and she even took an approach that I had never used before. After the deal was made, knowing the distractions in my busy world, she shepherded me through the inspections, clarifications and resolutions needed prior to closing. After closing she provided a check list and followed up with check-ins relative to establishing utilities and other elements of my transition. She always seemed to know just the right people and best approach to address issues that came up. But her service did not end at closing or even when I moved in. When I needed vendors, contractors or just “that guy to help”, she was always available to give savvy recommendations. Heck, she even checked in with me in the months that followed to make sure I had filed the appropriate material to obtain homestead tax protection. I had, of course, because she had outlined the issue and the process long before the filing was due. Tracie is not just a salesperson. She provides complete service relating to the most important asset that most of us ever own. I now have a home that I feel proud of every day I wake up here. Tracey gave us excellent tips to helped us sell our home in 2009, a tough time in the housing market. When we moved back to the area, we asked for her help again. Because of an overseas move, we only had one week to look at houses. She made us her top priority that week. I was very impressed with her knowledge of all the different areas of Indy and beyond, including school districts. She is honest, helps you figure out what you need to prioritize, and is a tough negotiator on your behalf. By the end of that week I felt like there was nothing she wouldn't do for us, between lifting up carpeting to see what's underneath, to racing out to the county building with me to get a water sample in before they closed, to detecting mold just by walking into a room. Her team works well together.

Tracey was absolutely wonderful in my home buying experience. She was knowledgeable with the area I was looking in. She presented all of the homes in the radius I requested. If we were targeting a home in a short-sale or bank-owned situation, we would probably seek someone with more spoecialized expertise in these specifc homes.  Tracey was great, these just were not her sweet spot.

The experience was great. During a roller-coaster ride with the bank, Tracey really came through and helped us get a great home for an unbelievable price.

After researching comments on Angie's List and visiting her website, I contacted Tracey Nix in March to obtain her assistance in purchasing a home. From the very beginning, Tracey was extremely responsive to my need for flexibility in terms of what days and times we could look for houses. I really appreciate the fact that she took the time to understand my spoken (and unspoken) wants and needs. Tracey worked really hard to negotiate a signed offer for me over the Easter / Spring Break weekend. After the inspection, we learned that there were significant deficiencies with the HVAC system and undisclosed drainage and encroachment issues. Tracey spent countless hours representing me in negotiations with the seller's realtor in an attempt to resolve the issues in a fair manner. When the deal fell through, she even fought and won the battle to recover my earnest money deposit, then immediately got to work finding the perfect home for me. I moved in June and love it! Tracey's after-sale support is top notch! She has stayed in touch with me since then to make sure that I didn't forget often overlooked tasks such as filing the homestead and mortgage exemptions on a timely basis. My only regret is that I haven't done nearly as good a job as Tracey about keeping in touch. I feel like I gained a friend. I would highly, highly recommend her services without reservation. The overall experience was good. Tracey is a very nice and personable person. The seller's agent seemed to be much more on the ball which was disappointing as the buyer.

Tracy was great. She is the best Realtor we have worked with. What was so spectacular was that we were living in a different state and she worked with me long distance to find a house. She went to our closing and did all the paper work and she found us service providers before we moved in. She really went above and beyond what she needed to do. She offers a real service and not just for buying a house. I love my house and I got an incredible deal.
