Construction on this project began in mid May - to this date (8 months later) it is still not complete. Please read an excerpt from a letter sent to Mr. Hollowach regarding the issues we have: " I am disappointed that you have chosen to ignore my correspondence and my request to rectify the issues outlined in the previous letter. I am more disappointed that I trusted you to be professional and thorough ... I have paid you in full for the services of contruction of a deck and pergola; and staining of the deck, pergola, and existing fence. Although you both worked very hard and at the time cordial, I would hardly say that the construction was of professional caliber - there are many uneven and cracked boards, and gaps in the deck. I have consulted other professional deck builders and they have advised that in their opinion you should have used screws, not nails. Two of the long boards on top of the pergola are already warping and twisting. The staining on the deck is uneven, and last but not least the stain was sprayed on the siding of our house and our neighbor's house." This letter was sent on October 9th. I received a phone call on November 3rd from Mr. Hollowach stating that they would be by the following week to repaint the siding and make some repairs. They never came and I have not received any correspondence.
