About us
KleanServ grew out of my dissatisfaction working with and for others in the carpet cleaning industry. I wanted to build a reliable, full service company where my customers knew the job would be done right the first time at a reasonable price whether it was cleaning carpet, remodeling a kitchen or drying out and restoring a flooded basement. We have been a business member of Angie's List for two years and are excited to report that we've won the Super Service Award in both 2010 and 2011. I love my work, but nothing makes me happier than another completely satisfied customer. Whether I'm cleaning carpet, restoring a flooded basement or answering every day carpet questions for my clients, I wake up every morning excited about my business. My company is RRP Certified by the EPA (Renovation, Repair and Paint) and can work in homes with lead-based paint. KleanServ is eco-friendly and only uses green products - even our website is 'green' as it is hosted by a 100% wind-powered company! About 90% of my business is repeat or referral, and I'm proud of that. I want my customers to call me with questions and when there's an emergency. KleanServ operates 6 days a week and the emergency hours are there, but when I do have a little time to myself, I enjoy riding my Harley, watching a little football or, believe it or not, cleaning my vehicles. The project started off very well. The owner said they would communicate everything with the two insurance companies and it would all be taken care of by them. NOT TRUE AT ALL. They were quick to respond and seemed like they were going to be very easy and nice to work with. They did remove dry wall and the laminate floor, but never lifted the vinyl floor so moisture stayed within the floor, I had to lift the vinyl myself. Insurance was slow to approve moving forward, so one of the workers went on vacation but saying she would be back the week after to finish the job. Four weeks later they still had not showed up even though being told 3 times they were coming out. It took a very stern conversation to get them to actually come back. Apparently since insurance hadn't paid out then they were not going to come back but not tell me. I was told by the owner he was frustrated with me because he had not seen any payment even though that was never communicated. They are over priced for the work they did and have no courtesy for their customers. They also just left my key under the mat at the front door, so your safety is also absolutely no concern to them. And they will ask for your insurance deductible over text. They do not communicate with their customers and then take it out on you.

"This review was not posted by the actual customer but, presumably, by a friend. Some of this review is true and some is not. The incident occurred in January. The HOA insurance coverage was to pay for the majority of the claim with the reisdent's policy picking up the remainder. The customer is very nice but did not want to pay anything out of pocket - not even a deductible. The HOA policy paid her directly for its part, which is fine, but it did not pay what was due her. She has received only the depreciated amount prior to having the repairs made. She asked for our bill, which was correct, and was upset that the check she received did not cover our charges. We do use the same billing system as the insurance company but since she nor the adjuster ever shared their paperwork with us, we were not able to point out the discrepancies or explain the check she had received. She is owed more money (and would get more money) had she shared this with us when she got it. As it stands now, she owes our charges. If she would like assistance getting the additional funds from the carrier, I would be more than happy to help her."

The job went perfectly; from my initial contact with the company all the way through job completion. ey did an outstanding job, even meeting me at the condo so they could provide an accurate bid, through the end of the project where they emailed my invoice. I could not have been more pleased with the company's professionalism, service and price. I will definitely use them again, as well as refer them to others. Trent was very quick to respond to my call. It was easy to schedule an appointment at my convenience and he arrived on time. The job he did was great - carpets look wonderful again. I will definitely call him in the future for more carpet cleaning but I intend to have him clean tile soon. Thanks Trent!

We had an old cooking oil spill on the dining room carpet that was starting to reappear as a splash of unsightly dark spots. Trent cleaned this area thoroughly. We also had an area of quite badly stained carpet in our living room where we walk from the kitchen to the back porch and also around the chairs at our computer desk. A previous attempt at cleaning this area had caused huge problems for another company, with the pale carpet turning orange after cleaning and then requiring two further visits to get it clean. Trent cleaned this area thoroughly and it now looks very nice with all the dark discoloration gone. He did a great job at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the result as we were contemplating replacing the carpets in both rooms due to these stains, and now they look great again for a fraction of the cost and trouble.

Trent came over and provided me an estimated, which the actual of was lower than the estimate, and even provided me some tips about how to clean my laminate flooring that would help keep the carpet cleaner longer. Afterwards, he came to clean the carpet and I was amazed how clean he was able to get it. The carpets look great and the house smells wonderful.

Trent called before arrival as he was able to come to my home earlier than we had previously scheduled which worked well for me. When he arrived he was very polite and introduced himself appropriately. He got started right away and I was asking questions about carpet maintenance that he was more than happy to answer. Trent appeared very knowledgeable about a variety of topics regarding home maintenance and care and we might even call him to get a few other things done around the house. He went from space to space and was all done within an hour. I am happy with how the carpets look and I would definitely call him again to schedule future cleanings.

Trent was absolutly wonderful. Our carpets look great and he was very flexable when scheduling an appointment. He was on time and was very helpful. Our carpets look wonderful he even gave me a few tips on how to keep them clean until next time. I felt very good knowing his products are "green" and he doesn't use harsh chemicals. It's nice to find someone who cares as much about the service he provides as he does about the success of his business. Thank you Trent...we WILL be calling you in the future! :-)

Our sump pump failed to come on at the same time we had about 9 inches of snow melting and about 2 inches of rain falling- in January of this year, 2013. That was a Friday night and on the following Sunday night we opened the basement door to find that our basement was flooded. Early Monday morning I called Angie's List to ask for someone with an A rating so that I could call them to help with basement restoration. I chose to call Klean Serv from the names I was given. Trent Hall, the owner of Klean Serv, came to our rescue. He was so special in the caring, professional way he lead us through the calamity. Trent took out the carpeting and made sure the basement was completely dry and odor free before starting to rebuild the torn out paneling and chair rail. He stayed with the job and became a friend.
Trent's helper, Michelle Decatur, did most of our paperwork for insurance, brought carpet samples and paint samples, painted walls and some furniture for us, etc. She also became a friend.
I will forever be greatful for their help in taking me from a bad situation to having a basement our family can enjoy

We had KleanServe out to clean multiple rooms and an oversized chair. I called on Saturday afternoon and explained that, despite waiting until the last minute, I was hoping to get the carpets cleaned prior to moving in some furniture in a few days. Trent arranged his schedule so that he could fit us in at 9am on Monday morning. As others have said, Trent was on time, friendly, professional, and thorough. He cleaned 3 rooms, a hallway, 13 stairs, and a chair for under $200 - he even recommended someone to help us finish a carpet to tile transition. This was our first experience with a professional carpet cleaning service. We debated going the self-service route but now I'm glad we didn't. We are very pleased with the quality and value of KleanServe and we will definitely be using them again in the future.

Trent Hall, the owner of KleanServ, is amazing. He does the work himself and has the experience and equipment to do the job right. He also knows anyone who's anyone in the business. He even knew the owner of the last company who cleaned our carpets (who had retired, thus our search on Angie's List).
We had KleanServ out to look at a corner in our basement where rain had seeped down a wall and saturated the carpet. We also needed carpet cleaning throughout the house. Trent inspected the wet area and was able to treat it before it became smelly.
We were almost embarrassed to ask him to treat a hallway runner for old ink stains. Amusingly, this runner had moved from neighbor to neighbor in our subdivision. No one could get out the stains, but the rug was too nice to throw out. It was finally offered to us and we too wanted it, but we were never able to get the stains out. Enter Trent and his equipment 2 years later. After spending maybe 20 minutes on it, he asked if I would like to come see how it looked. By the smile on his face, I could tell something was up. My jaw dropped when I saw that there was not a single spot visible. It honestly looked brand new. We're afraid to tell our neighbors; they might want it back!
We were extremely pleased with the work and value provided. We highly recommend Trent and KleanServ for price, punctuality, speed and performance.

They were very nice, attentive, sympathetic, and understanding. My brother and I had to take care of the issue because our parents were out of the country. They were there until early in the AM on a Monday morning. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Trent contacted me within 24 hours to provide a quote. We scheduled the appointment within a week, and Trent actually called me the day before to let me know he could come earlier the next day if that worked for us. This was actually more convenient for us. He was on time, did exactly what we requested, and was done within the timeframe we expected.

Of course there were a few hiccups along the way that looking back I would have changed or spoke up about but all in all they did a wonderful job in a "crisis" situation. Michelle even knew that I was having a party & worked extra hard to make sure my room was put back together before the party, which I so appreciated! I will be using KleanServ in the future!

I called on Saturday 11/17 to request a verbal estimate to carpet clean 2 areas (a large living room, and the front entryway) and to treat spots where our cat has urinated. Within a few minutes, the owner (Trent) called me back with the verbal estimate. We were happy with his quote, and proceeded to schedule an appointment. I explained that we were hosting Thanksgiving and, if possible, we'd like to have this work performed no later than the Wednesday before Thanksgiving - he was able to accomodate and we set the appointment for Wednesday at 4:30pm.
When the day came, Trent arrived a couple hours early. He did call ahead of time to advise that he was in the area and would arrive earlier than scheduled, but I didn't hear the phone to take his call. But, it was fine with us that he arrived early. Upon his arrival, we surveyed the areas to be cleaned - paying special attention to the cat urine spots. He advised that cat urine doesn't dry completely and that it may be impossible to remove the stains (we weren't surprised with this news). We asked him to go ahead and do the best he could. I also asked him to carpet clean the entranceway into our home office (approx 4-ft x 2-ft area) which is another place where the cat has been urinating, which he did for an extra $10.
We removed as much furniture as possible from the areas, and Trent quickly got to work. He gave us some advice about how to treat the cat urine spots going forward, and how to permanently treat the urine areas whenever the time comes for us to replace the carpet. I think he was here for about 45 minutes (including the time he was teaching us how to care for our carpets).
The day the work was completed, the carpet looked exceptional - we were pleasantly surprised that the cat urine spots were much less noticeable than before. Now, a couple days later, the carpet still looks great! The urine spots are still present and somewhat noticeable, but they're not nearly as bad as they once were.
