Dr. Munir, from the very start, was very rude and arrogant. He made a drastic change to my medication, from which I ended up in the hospital. My primary care provider strongly disagreed with his decision, and when I raised my concerns to him, he quickly iterrupted and dismissed me. After his medication adjustment, and my subsequent emergency room visit, I made another appointment with him to try a different course of treatment, and simply told me, "it would take a long time," and that we could, "try something different later," after his 'spring break.'
During out initial visit, Dr. Munir did not take even a partially complete history. He would not let my wife in, who is a PA--she helps me some times explain some of the more technical things. When I tried to tell him that I had an autonomic condition that can effect my reactions to certain medications, he seemed to almost get angry, or at least highly impatient. He had no concern in looking at my previous records. He claims that he likes to, "start fresh." The idea of not considering past treatments and records is absurd.
My wife also saw him, once--he attempted to put her well above the maximum dose of a medication. My wife, as a provider, knew that there were zero studies showing efficacy above the max dose and that seratonin syndrome (potentially fatal) is more likely to accor at doses above the maximum.
During follow-up appointments, he would get angry when I asked questions and refused to explain his treatment plan or even educate. Dr. Munir is the worst Doctor I have ever met in the private sector.

Dr. Munir is wonderful.  We have been seeing him for almost a year.  He has absolutely been instrumental in the positive steps our teenager has taken.  I would highly recommend him.  He is personable and very intuitive.

It was a positive experience. What I liked is that they seemed to be very responsive to our needs. He takes his time when he is with the patient. He doesn't rush into anything. What I dislike is that he seems to be on vacation a lot so he is out of the office. The second thing is that they don't return calls for several days. As a practitioner, I think he is really good.

Dr. Munir listened better than any other doctor I have ever seen.  He was thorough in his history questioning and took time to look into various aspects of the diagnosis and treatment.  Left old doctor and will continue to use Dr. Munir for myself and, in the future, my son.

They are very, very good.  I am very satisfied there.  The service has been extremely helpful.  For most people it might have been a minor problem but things affect people differently.  I also have multiple sclerosis and type-one diabetes.  So, sometimes depression may be part of my meds so I just don’t know why I was feeling what I was feeling.  I did need medical care and change in medicine.  I needed counseling.  Truthfully, I have been going there for about two months and yesterday the doctor said, “Wow, you are yourself again” and I said, “Yes I am.  I’m myself again, I am back”.  He knew which medicines to change and he did so.  He was able to talk with me and make sense about it.  It is working out fine for me.  I would recommend them.  Their professionalism is excellent.  They are on time; they are one of the few places that are on time.  You feel like, for the person who is helping you, the doctor, or the counselor, you are the only person.  They don’t try to rush you.  Even though they are watching the time, they are able to help you relax and get to the point quickly and help you to talk about it.  I felt very cared for, I felt like I was special.  I owe that to my counselor, her name is Mary.  I know that she is booked full, so I was one in how many that day, but whenever I saw her, I felt like I was her only client.  She was able to help me feel that way.  The doctor’s office is excellent but in the waiting room, they have a television in there that is always on Fox news and I don’t happen to like Fox news.  I wish that if they had a television, they had one television screen that just had soothing pictures of flowers or fishes to flip through.  I really don’t think they need one there, because nobody watches it.  It is irritating at times.  That would be my only complain about the whole place.  The staff is absolutely friendly.  I still have a few more appointments with her.  It is just recently, in the last week or so that I felt much, much better.

I like him, he listens, and he is not quick to jump to medicine. When he does advise medicine he goes slow and gives very slow doses and not big doses, which I appreciate. The staff there is really great. They get me in when I really need to get in. He is always on time and he actually takes time with the patient. I think that the effectiveness of treatment is going good.

Dr. Munir has a sympathetic manner and is knowledgeable, but I did not feel like we were communicating well with each other. I was not looking for counseling, only medication advice, and I don't think he understood my purpose. At my last visit, I was disappointed that we still were not addressing the heart of my concerns, so I decided to see another psychiatrist instead.
