GEORGETOWN ALTERATIONS

The price of the seemingly simple alterations was $93. The length of the dress was fine but it was apparent that they shored up the beaded overlay material by taking it all from the front of the dress. The beaded overlay material was attached to the zipper in the back. Now the beaded overlay material is noticeably shorter in the front than it is in the back, by a few inches. I think they forgot to take into consideration that a woman's bust will take up space. Good thing my daughter is an A cup size and not a C or larger cup size. With prom in a week and no way to really fix the error, we will have to live with it.

It was great! They were able to get the pants back to me in just a few days, even though I could see how busy they were. I'll use them again in the future.

Courteous and friendly service. I needed the sleeves shortened and some extra fabric removed on the back panel just below the collar.

The finished work is clean and neat, and completed well within the time I needed it. I have a few pairs of new dress pants that I will be taking on the next visit.

They are very friendly, they told me a time frame of when it would be done, and it was done during the time frame. The interaction with them was very nice and friendly. They do very nice work, the hemming was beautiful.

They shortened the sleeves on several items including a woman's suit jacket with lining.  They did an excellent job on everything.  I needed the items quickly because we were leaving town and they were able to honor my request.  I would definitely go back.

My wife needed some items altered and we stopped in just before closing.  The items were measured and marked for alteration (3 dresses and 2 pair of pants) ans we were able to pick them up a week later.  The quality is outstanding - the items do not look as if they were altered, they look new (often better than new). 

I've been very pleased. They did a beautiful job and the price was better than I would have gotten elsewhere. She did an absolutely beautiful job on all three winter coats. I felt that the price was very fit and the quality of the service was outstanding. I thought it was very quick. I drive to Indianapolis and have her do work because I think her work is outstanding and I have complete confidence in them and that's important. The service is an outstanding quality and I would recommend them.

She did a fantastic job. The dress and one of the blazers were way too big so she did extensive work. They are expensive but its worth it. They are always done on the day they give us.

Excellent! The leather jacket was ripped along 3 seams. The top layer of the belt was coming unglued from its leather backing. Anna and her staff were able to repair both so they look like new. They top-stitched the edging of the entire belt so that it's even stronger than it was. The turn-around time was about a week. The jacket repair was $30 and the belt was $10. Very reasonable charges.

I had a Mother of the bride dress altered (hemmed and taken in at the side seams). I stepped into the dress, the owner marked the hem and said the sides needed to be taken in. I was OK with what she said. I returned on the date promised, the dress was ready. She was busy with another customer but took the time to ask me to stay and try it on before leaving. I was in a hurry and declined. A few days later I tried on the dress and was pleased with how it looked and felt. I got lots of compliments on the dress at the wedding. I would refer anyone to this business for service. Price was reasonable, done on time and looked great.

A zipper was replaced in a rather expensive coat with a matching zipper. The workmanship was excellent and the alteration was done on time. The staff was friendly and professional.

The pants were ready on schedule. One pair was taken in too much and is tight. A second pair of pants were not taken in enough. A third pair was taken in the right amount but the pressing of the seams left creases that do not come out. I think more care could have been taken for correct fitting. Pinning was done quickly with not a lot of care. I think I will keep looking for an alteration shop.

I like the owner, and I have confidence that what she recommends for altering is the best idea.

I took the jacket to them and they removed the old zipper and installed a new one. Subsequently, I noticed that there were two pieces of thread extending from where replacement of the zipper was done. It didn't look like they would cause a problem if i cut them shorter, and removed the possibility of them interfering with operation of the zipper. So I did.

I did have to leave it there for about a week and they charged me less then half of what others wanted to charge me and I was very happy with the work they did. I thought they were very professional. They took the time to see how long it would take to put in the new zipper. When I picked it up it was done in a timely manner and it was done very well. I went with t hem at first just because of how much they were going to charge me. I would use them again.

The reason I put C for punctuality is that the date promised to have ready was on Friday at 3, but it was not ready till Saturday 3. 24 hours late, otherwise the shop did a wonderful job. I am happy.

Went very well as promised. Timely when I didn't have any time to waste.
