my overall exsperiance with cpm construction went wonderful. i feel that it could not have gone any better or smoother. joe radcliff who came out and meet with myself and my huisband sat down and explajned everything to us in detail, he got right on the job prepaired an estimate and worked with the insurance company to get them what they needed to get the claim paid for. they even had our house built and completed before my insurance company even had all of the money relesed. i think the world of this company and wouls reffer them to anyone and every one to use. i would like to thank cpm and joe radcliff for being a shining light in the dark time of need when i thought my house was damaged beyond repair.

CPM Construction made my experience with filing a claim easy. A representative for CPM came out and met with my insurance adjuster to make sure that all the damages to my home where assessed properly. They worked for me as the homeowner and made sure my property was restored back to prestine condition. Their company is not only dependable and get the work done in a timely manner, but they are professional and accurate. They replaced my roof and gutters without any extra money out of my pocket, except my $500 deductible. I recommend CPM for any of your property needs, they are an A+ company in my book.

My house sat there for 3 months before starting the repairs. The wood they purchased to replace on the roof they didn't water treat. I also asked them numerous of times to write a contract, but still haven't. They also didn't clean up after themselves. They still some have things to do such as insulation and chimney repair. Their excuses are that the places that they order supplies through went out of business so they have to order the supplies from another business. They were supposed to clean the refrigerator and freezer. They wiped it out but didn't they didn't sanitize it.

"IT IS UNFORTUNATE AND REGRETTABLE THAT THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED. THIS JOB IS A TORNADO RESTORATION THAT OCCURRED IN 2008. IT WENT SEVERAL WEEKS TO CONCLUDE THE INSPECTION PROCESS. A TOTAL OF THREE TRIPS TO THE SITE TO CORRECT THE INSURANCE COMPANY'S SCOPE AND HAVING TO WORK WITH THERE SCHEDULE TO GET THIS ACCOMPLISHED. WE HAD SEVERAL MEETINGS ON PRICING DUE TO IMPROPER INSURANCE ESTIMATES AND PRICE GUIDES USED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. ONCE THE SCOPE OF WORK AND PRICING WAS APPROVED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY WE THAN COULD START THE WORK. I UNDERSTAND THE STRESS IN DEALING WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES BUT AT TIMES THAT STRESS IS PASSED TO US. WE DO NOT HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE ANY INSURANCE COMPANY JUST CUT A CHECK NOR CAN WE AGREE TO DO IT FOR WHAT THEY HAVE ALLOWED IF THERE ESTIMATE IS INCORRECT. THIS DOES TAKE TIME AND WE WISH IT WOULD GO FASTER AND WILL CONTINUE TO WORK EVERY DAY INSURING WE GET IT DONE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. ONCE WE STARTED THE WORK WENT FAST AND SMOOTH. THE ONLY THING WE HAVE LEFT TO DO IS THE FIREPLACE PIPING WHICH IS NOT SOLD ANY MORE. IT IS A DISCONTINUED PRODUCT AND WE SEARCHED THE US TO FIND WHAT WE NEEDED. IT WILL BE INSTALLED WITH IN 2 WEEKS DUE TO THE WEATHER. OUR GOAL IS TO ALWAYS PROVIDE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY OF WORK TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS. WE NEVER LIKE DISSATISFACTION AND WILL ALWAYS TRY TO RESOLVE ALL COMPLAINTS THAT ARE MADE. THIS HOME WAS A LARGE LOSS CLAIM THAT AFFECTED THE ENTIRE ROOFING SYSTEM, FULL REPLACEMENT OF SIDING, FASCIA, SOFFIT, GUTTERS, BRICK REPAIRS, NEW GARAGE DOOR, ENTIRE INTERIOR PAINT, FULL GUT AND REMODEL OF TWO BEDROOMS, FULL BATHROOM AND HALLWAY, HVAC REPLACEMENTS, ELECTRICAL REPAIRS, FIREPLACE REBUILD AND REPAIRS AND YES THE TWO FRIDGES WERE CLEANED WITH BLEACH. IN FACT BEFORE THE HOMEOWNER MOVED BACK IN TO THE HOME AND ENTIRE CLEAN OF THE RESIDENCE WAS PERFORMED TO INSURE THEY WERE HAPPY. I THANK YOU FOR THE TIME AND UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH WE CAN DO TO MAKE THE PROCESS GO FAST. ONCE WE CAN START THE BUILD, WE GET IT DONE. IT’S THE TECHNICAL DEALINGS WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT TAKE TIME."

CPM (and owner Joe Radcliff) IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVERY EXPERIENCED!!! If you have any doubt in your mind if CPM should do any of your work please do not walk but RUN away from this company. Joe will tell you differently and say not to worry about this complaint against CPM, he said the exact same thing to us when we had reservations. Buyer beware. Joe will tell you everything you want to hear upfront. He is nice enough at the beginning but will attempt to bully you into signing a contract. He becomes belligerent and threatens to sue if you do not sign a contract with him. We are still waiting to talk to an attorney from the insurance company in regards to reroofing our condominium complex. Joe has threaten price increase even though he buys his product in bulk and locks in prices. After repeated attempting to have our association sign a contract and our repeated refusal to do so he says he now already has a contract. Our property manager has repeated asked for any contract he may have and he refused to produce any. He has shouted at myself on the phone and hung up on me. This guy is deficient in judgment and good sense. The association will be filing complaints with the Secretary of State's office and the BBB. He should not be in business in Indiana with the way he tries to pound the customer into submission. If Joe and CPM do not get what they want they attempt to sue you. Joe believes that if he sues enough people he will make some money. I guess if he sues five people and only one pans out he is doing ok, by his standards. Shame on Angie's list for even letting him associate his name with theirs. No matter what is written below to rebut these statements this is an honest and accurate account of dealings with Joe Radcliff and CPM construction. Anyone that wishes to contact me please feel free to do so.

"SOME PEOPLE USE THIS SITE AND SITES LIKE THESE THAT ARE DESIGNED TO INFORM THE PUBLIC ON TRUE FACTS REGARDING COMPANIES THROUGH OUT AMERICA. NONE OF MY COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS FILED THIS REPORT. WE ARE CURRENTLY REPRESENTING SEVEN PROPERTIES IN DEALINGS WITH THE SCOPE AND PRICE NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. WE HAVE ENGINEERING FIRMS WORKING WITH US IN PROVING HAIL HAS HIT THE PROPERTIES. PEOPLE WHOSE DAMAGES AND HAVE BEEN DENIED. OUR LEGAL TEAMS ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO OVER COME ALL HURTLES THROWN IN OUR WAY IN WORKING FOR OUR CLIENTS. THERE IS ONLY ONE PROPERTY IN FISHERS WHO I WILL NOT MENTION SINCE THEY WOULD NOT LIST THERE PROPERTY NAME IN THE COMPLAINT. THIS IS A PROPERTY THAT WE WERE WORKING ON IN APPRAISAL. APPRAISAL IS WHEN THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS DENIED THE PROPERTY TWICE AND WE ARE ASKED TO DEFEND OUR SCOPE AND PRICE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY. ENGINEERING IS DONE TO INSURE THE DAMAGES ARE AT THE PROPERTY. LAWYERS WORK ON THE LEGAL ASPECTS OF THE PROCESS. WE REACHED AND AGREEMENT THAT THE PROPERTY WAS HAPPY WITH AND AFTER THE BOARD MEETING THE NEXT DAY WE SETTLED THE APPRAISAL PER OUR CLIENTS REQUEST. ONCE THE CHECK WAS CUT BOY DID THE STORY CHANGE TO HOW THE CONTRACT WE HAD DIDN’T MEAN ANYTHING AND THE HOURS AND MONEY WE SPENT WERE NOT THERE CONCERN. LAWYERS WERE BROUGHT IN AND THE PROPERTY PAID FOR OUR SERVICES SINCE THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THERE CONTRACT. THERE IS A THING CALLED SLANDER, MY LAWYER LOVES THIS STUFF. WE BELIEVE IN DOING OUR JOB RIGHT, ETHICALLY AND MORALLY. WE WILL STRIVE EACH AND EVERY DAY TO DO THE BEST WE CAN AND IMPROVE IN ALL AREAS OF THE BUSINESS WE ARE IN. WE WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR PEOPLES RIGHTS NO MATTER WHAT IS THROWN IN OUR WAY AS THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS COME OUT. I THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT AND ALWAYS SEEK THE TRUTH. IT’S NOT ALWAYS WHAT YOU READ OR SEE ON TV."

They were professional and did a good job. CPM is taking a long time to finish the job so I am holding the money until the job is done.

This was your quintessential contractor nightmare. First off they are complete liars. Namely, Eric Dieckman (the field supervisor and sales rep) and Joe Radcliffe the owner) they orally promised a 3 week time line. Having the remodeling project start on 5/7/2007 and not end until we signed the certificate of completion on 10/12/2007 shows there complete default on this oral agreement. Through out this remodeling process, Joe and Eric never delivered on their commitments. On May 31, 2007 Eric promised us that though they already failed to meet the 3 week completion agreement, they would have the project finished within 30 more days (which would have been June 30, 2007). When we had our meeting on June 5, 2007, in wish case we discussed there complete lack of quality, Joe personally concluded that his subcontractor's Judd and Josh were delivering a "D" quality on the wood trim. He hired yet another subcontractor that then dropped the quality from a "D" to an "F" before he personally promised to redo and finish the trim himself. Again he completely defaulted on this commitment. he personally worked on the trim one day before bringing back Judd and Josh. When we brought it to his attention that this was unacceptable, he assured us that they would finish the trim under his strict supervision. Again, this never happened. Obviously, we had to take off work many times through out this process to babysit his subcontractor's, that as a professional contractor should have been his responsibility. His subs even subcontracted and never showed up to watch there workers, or were only at our house 10 minutes. We had hoped that on December 20, 2007 he would re figure the original quote to reflect his broken oral agreement of completing the job in 3 weeks and lack or quality. Unfortunately, he wasn't willing to compensate us in any way. He threatened to take us to court and put a lein on our house if he wasn't payed all at once (which by the way during the whole process a payment plan was never discussed). Finally we agreed to a more than fair payment plan, then he had the nerve to call us once he received his final check and tell us that we owed him $1900 more, all because his incompetent office assistant didn't have her figures correct. What really takes the cake-he failed to ever obtain a permit on our roof (that I later found out when I called the planning department). In our case, because the roof was completely rebuilt including rafters that of course is needed. So there is a chance that they didn't redo the roof to code, and we may have problems when we go to sell our house. Which of course if that happens I will be suing his pants off. avoid them like the plague. there knowledge to work the insurance business isn't worth the headache they will create in your life. companies like them are the reason Angie's list exists.

"AT CPM CONSTRUCTION WE DO BELIEVE IN INTEGRITY AND QUALITY. IT WOULD BE NICE FOR PEOPLE TO GIVE THERE REAL NAMES IN THIS PROCEDURE AND ADDRESS SO PEOPLE CAN LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT. THIS JOB WE FOUGHT HARD WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO GET THE ENTIRE ROOF, SIDING, GUTTERS, INTERIOR REPAIRS AND HAD TO FIGHT TWO MORE MONTHS TO GET THE DETACHED GARAGE ADDED TO THE JOB BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. WE REPLACED SEVERAL RAFTERS ON A HISTORIC HOME OVER 100 YEARS OLD. RE DECKED, ADDED SKYLIGHT AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL JOB IF I MUST SAY SO MYSELF. WE REPLACED ALL THE SIDING WHICH WAS A SPECIAL ORDER SMOOTH VINYL SIDING, INSTALLED WOOD TRIM ON ALL WINDOWS, OUTSIDE CORNERS, TRIM BOARD AND BAND BOARS. YES, I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT OF THE TRIM AND TOLD THE PROPERTY OWNER ABOUT THE ISSUE. THEY DIDN’T SEE WHAT I SAW AND I THOUGHT WERE THANKFUL. MY SECOND CREW FINISHED IT OFF AND PAINTING WAS COMPLETED. WE DIDN’T DO ANY INTERIOR WORK AS THE HOMEOWNER WANTED TO DO IT THEMSELVES. ONCE IT CAME TIME TO CUT THE FINAL CHECK AFTER ALL FINAL PUNCH LISTS WERE COMPLETED THEN CAME I WANT TO MAKE A DEAL. I EXPLAINED WE HAD A CONTRACT ON PRICE ALREADY DONE. WE HANDLED ALL CONCERNS AND COMPLAINTS AND THEY DIDN’T WANT TO PAY US. I DID TELL THEM I WOULD PLACE A LIEN AND GET MY LAWYERS INVOLVED DUE TO RATIONAL CONVERSATION WAS GETTING KNOW WHERE. ONCE I BROUGHT IT TO THERE ATTENTION I WILL NOT ARGUE NOR GIVE HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY AND I WILL LET THE LAWYERS AND JUDGE MAKE THE DECISION THEY WANTED TO PAY. NOT BECAUSE I FORCED THEM BUT BECAUSE THEY OWED IT. THERE HAS BEEN NO WARRANTY WORK TO DATE AND NO OTHER COMPLAINTS FROM THIS CLIENT. WE PUT ON ALL PROJECTS A FIVE YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY AND WILL STAND BEHIND IT AS WE STAND BEHIND OUT CLIENTS."
