Very smoothly

He was very honest and punctual. When talking we sorted out what needed to be done. I was satisfied with all he got done for the money and I am sure will be using him again in the future.

After it was broken I called him and he came, I think, the next day or something. It took him about 2 hours and that includes going to get the new pipe.

Most of the work I requested was completed, though clean up outside was not as perfect as other companies. But Cody did not measure the outside shutter I had to have replaced. Therefore he purchased the wrong size. He claimed he would special order the right size and install it. Nothing happened. I contacted him, he said he would look into it. I have heard nothing for a number of weeks.

The work was terrific!  We've already had him back for some additional work

Jim arrived and immediately went to work.  I had mentioned my shower door was not closing properly so he went upstairs to fix it.  It only took him 5 minutes to do it and it works great now.  Then he went to work on the island.  He had to move the electrical in the basement and plug the holes in the hardwood.  Before reinstalling the island to it's new location, he asked for my input on where to put it and also showed me that the hardwood under the island was a little bit different in color.  I was fine with it and knew that we might have to refinish it in the future anyway.  Jim reinstalled the island warning me that there would be some loud pops which might startle me and my dog.  In passing I asked if he fixed windows and he said yes.  I told him I had been washing the windows and one of the springs disengaged.  He looked at the window and fixed it in less than 5 minutes.  I was very pleased with his professionalism and expertise.  I would absolutely hire him again.

Very good! We have had Jim do several things for us now and they are always done with high quality and attention to detail. He listens to what we need, and the work always looks very professional when finished. We will call him again for future projects.

Will not use anymore. Does not show up on time, does not communicate time changes. Cancels a 1 pm appt at 5pm. Not reliable. Work is ok but somewhat sloppy. Had attitude when I asked when work would be finished was told that I would have to be fit in short notice even though I had scheduled a month in advance. He cancelled that appointment to go fishing.

Job was done and it was just ok, I give them the benefit of the doubt b/c they did a lot. He was not punctual. One time I called and he forgot he was supposed to come and work on our home. My realtor recommended him and she was very unhappy that he didn't show up on time and completely forgot about the appointment.

In order to reduce costs, I hired Jim to perform bath remodel services. Jim was very cooperative in allowing me to purchase materials and simply provide the installer service. He was very informative in terms of coming up with ways to reduce the cost of the project including recommending vendors and using his contact to come up with some cost benefit ideas. In addition, Jim was always responsive and has also been helpful in several other smaller handyman projects. He was my go to guy in Indianapolis.

I had been unable to open my front gate for some time. Mr. Cody quickly identified and fixed the problem.

He was to come back on September 17th to put in new bathtub faucet, drain, and shower head. He never showed up or called. I left him a voice mail asking where he was. He never responded to my voicemail or got back to me.

Jim was prompt and completed the job on very short notice as our home is on the market. His work is very consistent and we have used him in the past. In fact, it is rare that we contract work without an estimate but Jim has always been fair and performed quality work so we have come to trust that we will receive a fair invoice.

I called Jim late Tuesday afternoon after the 4th of July holiday and asked if there was anyway he could help me with a small repairs in preparation for an appraiser coming the next morning. He said he would handle the jobs personally and be at our house between 8:00 AM and 8:30. Jim arrived at 8:15. He properly hung an outside shutter that had been blow off in a storm, fixed a broken bathroom drawer and rehung a towel rack that had been pulled out of the wall. He was personable, jovial and completed each job quietly, quickly and perfectly. I am very appreciative and look forward to using Jim and his company on larger jobs.

His price seemed reasonable. He came on time and just did the work.

Jim Cody arrived on time and replaced the rubber seal. He also repaired the water damage on the ceiling and wall. His price was reasonable and the work was completed professionally. I would recommend his services.

I am happy with the work Jim did. The door and the jamb look as though they were installed when the house was first built. If you are looking to have a door installed, I recommend Jim for the job. He is a true handyman and can handle a wide range of jobs.

I thought the craftsmanship was very good. The communication was very good in terms of being responsive. He has a broad knowledge, whether it be plumbing or other handyman services.

They did a good job. It took them about two hours with two guys to finish the job. They were here on time and finished the work as desired.

Mr. Cody was very professional and performed excellent work at a reasonable price. He was quick to provide written cost and time estimates for each project and then performed accordingly. I will certainly utilize his services in the future.

Called Jim prior to purchasing our house to estimate the work. Everything went well. Jim and his partner came on Sunday evening to remove cabinets and countertops and returned next day to replace removed drywall, install replacement cabinets and reinstall countertops after environmental company came and did their work. Replaced hose bib and installed access panel inside for only a little more than the estimate for the cabinet/plumbing work. They had some difficulty repositioning new cabinets but everything worked out fairly well in the end.

Jim Cody made the appointment to come out and give us an estimate. He was on time and quickly emailed the estimate to us. We were very pleased with the price. He started when he said he would and finished all the projects in a week. It only took this long because of the time required for the drywall spackling to dry. Cutting drywall can really leave a mess, but after each day of work, you would have no idea he had been there. The place was as clean as it was before he did his work (maybe cleaner). Everything works great, the price was great, and he did the job very quickly. It cost us exactly what he said it would. I highly recommend Cody's Handyman's Service. As a matter of fact, he has since done two jobs for my boss and my boss couldn't be happier.

He comes out right away and always works me into his schedule quickly. I have a great communicative relationship with him. He does pretty good work.

James is excellent. He was right on time and did the whole job in about an hour and a half. The job was excellent and very professional. James was very professional and friendly and willing to explain how everything was going to work as he performed his job. This was an outstanding job and I'll definitely utilize James as my handyman service.
