The Burrell’s Moving & Hauling LLC website boasts having over 20 years’ experience in the moving field; however, what the website doesn’t tell you is Burrell’s Hauling & Moving is the moving company for you if you don’t care how your possessions are treated & if they are damaged Mr. Burrell will fail to reimburse you for the damaged items.He’ll give you one excuse after another for why he hasn’t paid you, and you will never see your money; or he’ll claim Burrell’s moving isn’t responsible for the damage.It's also the company for you if you want to experience a “bait and switch” for services & pay $700 more because additional trips were needed when the move took longer than quoted because Mr. Burrell decided to use a smaller moving truck to increase the cost of the move.Three months after the move, Mr. Burrell still hasn’t reimbursed me for the curio cabinet that was dropped and damaged beyond repair. He has also refused to take responsibilities for other items damaged during the move.

There were two trucks. The first truck had a great crew, they did a great job. The second crew that arrived an hour later was terrible. All the problems came from the second crew (Two guys). They dropped our dryer and dented the vent (I was later able to repair it), They improperly transported the washer, it now has a loud metalic whine on the spin cycle. There are several gouges into the walls of our new house. The refrigerator was dropped in the front of the house, the ice-maker fell out and the right hand door was bent. The fridge was put in the house, and I was able to get the door to function. It now leaked water, and we had to eventually put it into the garage. I contacted Burrells and it didn't go well. I asked for $500.00, an amount that I felt was fair. He blamed it on the workers and said I needed to get it from them. He said in some cases he would front the money for them and the workers would pay him back. I called him on it and he changed his tune: He said it was now an insurance matter. After four weeks of communication he offered me $150.00, and said I needed to drive down to Indy to fill out some paperwork in order to get a check. I told him to keep his money. In addition the final price was more than was quoted.

This company was excellent!  They showed up in a timely manner and the owner of the company, Mr. Burrell, was there supervising his movers.  They moved swiftly and professionally, taking care with everything they did.  As a matter of fact, they worked so quickly that they finished before the four hours minimum time  allotment (the price was set at one price for four hours of moving). The movers were friendly and polite, as was Mr. Burrell.  My daughter and I were so impressed that she stated she would definitely use this company in the future.

Burrell's was fantastic, probably the best part of our move. They were running late on move-out day, so to make up for it instead of the promised 2 movers, he brought something like 8 guys. They had the entire house moved out and onto the truck in about an hour, it was impressive. Each of the guys we interacted with from the owner down to each mover was warm and friendly and very efficient in their work. Would use them again, even out of state if possible.

I would never use this service again to move a home full of furniture.  If you have a barn, office machinery fine... but nothing that can break or be broken!! The boxes he brought were old square boxes roughly 3'by3' huge!! I expected some things to be broken as in all major moves.. but they put lamps in ..did not wrap had broken items.. plus upcharged me said more than he estimated.... I told him exactly ow much to expect!!!

Burrells really came through for me in a pinch.  We were closing on two homes on a Friday, and gave up possession on Saturday morning, but didn't get possession on our new home until Sunday.  I needed to find a company that would load our stuff from our old home, store it all weekend, and deliver on Sunday.  This proved quite challenging, as it is very hard to find a moving company that will store your stuff for a few days AND deliver on Sunday.  They came through, were professional, and the price was very fair considering our unique circumstances.  Terrance the owner is great to work with.  I would definitely recommend them.

movers on the chicago end were late and inefficient and i had to change delivery several times- they were understanding and waiting till very late for us to arrive. couldn't have asked for better service

They were fantastic. They were able to come to help on short notice. They did not leave until the job was completed and were extremely efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing movers.

The team was very careful in protecting our furniture and careful in moving.  No damage or accidents happened.  They were efficient and professional in handling all aspects of the move.  I would highly recommend them for your next move.

Burrell's Moving & Hauling were good, for the most part. If I hadn't been there, they would have gone way over our estimate. I was there, kind of on top of them, as far as to keep it moving. They ended up being a half hour over, that I had to pay for, but if I hadn't been there when they were packing, it would have been a lot more than that.

Overall, the move went very well.  They did arrive later than scheduled due to a small issue with their truck hitting some limbs and having to take care of that issue but came with more extra help.  We had estimated 8 hours and it took 10 hours and Terrance was great in meeting in the middle on the added time/cost.  The movers that worked with him were very respectful and worked very hard.  We had only one small mark left on a wall in the stairway which they immediately pointed out and was due to the large and extremely heavy piece of furniture going upstairs.  I was very satisfied with their work and would use them again and would recommend them to friends.

My upholsterer didn't have a truck big enough, so I called Terrance and told him that I needed a roundtrip delivery.  His guys showed up that day, and when I called him two weeks later for the return trip, he scheduled it immediately.  They were timely, clean, professional, and careful with my furniture.  Plus Terrance gave me a discount for prepaying for the round trip.  Great service!

They were really good and the price too was good.  They wrapped everything up really well, and I was very happy with what they did and how they did it.  They were also very quick to get stuff around.  The demeanor of the staff members was excellent.  They were very good.

They arrived just a few minutes late, and apologized having trouble finding our house.  They had originally gone to another location.  I had no problem with that.  They came in and looked at the item to be moved and the location it was to be moved to.  They went back to the garage and picked up the item and delivered it to the basement.  We had no problems with their service and no damage.  They thanked us for the business and left.

The overall experience with Burrell's Moving was very positive and I highly recommend.  From the initial conversation of obtaining a quote from Terrell, he was very professional. I booked him on Friday and moved on Monday.  The (2) movers showed up ready to work.  They also were cordial and professional.  They worked hard to get the job done in freezing cold weather (I might add) without complaining.  I am very satisfied and would use them again in a move.

I utilize Angie's list religiously, but rarely write reviews.  However, my expectations were exceeded to the point that I felt it necessary to share with fellow Angie's List members. 
Firstly, my career requires me to move more often than most.  As a result, I have utilized the services of numerous moving companies over the years.  I had accepted the fact this particular industry had seemingly no quality service providers and I was just going to have to work through it each time a move came up.  
I found Burrell's here on Angie's List and gave them a call since they were "A" rated and located right in the town I was moving from.  I have used "A" rated movers before only to be let down (as usual) when moving day came.  Burrell's finally broke the cycle of one horrible moving company after another.  
Terrance (owner) was easy to contact via phone and was able to provide me with a flat rate quote in about 5 minutes.  His quote was a little higher than others I had received, but I decided I'd give them a shot simply due to the fact that I liked his demeanor on the phone...came across as honest and upfront with me.  For the agreed upon price, Terrance was to provide 2 guys and a 16' box truck for up to 8 hours. 
When moving day came, Terrance himself showed up on site, introduced himself and his crew, explained how they would be handling the move, and then left my wife and I in the hands of his crew.  Though we had agreed upon 2 guys and a truck for 8 hours, Terrance sent 3 guys and a 16' box truck that was spotless (still had temp. tags on it - so it was brand new).  The guys had the contents of our 2 bdrm 1,000 sq/ft apartment loaded up in about 3 hours.  They wrapped items that needed wrapped, padded items that needed padded, bags over mattresses, etc. - took outstanding care of our belongings during loading.  They drove straight to our new home (about 15 miles) and began unloading before my wife had arrived with payment (supposed to pay them before they start unloading).  Truck was empty and belongings in their respectable rooms all within about 2 hours of arriving at the house.  No items damaged, no walls scratched, went perfect.  All 3 guys on his crew were very polite.  One guy (when they were still at the apartment loading up) saw my wife emptying a full trash can and ran over to take care of it for her....took the bag out and walked it all the way to our apartment's compacter located across the complex...seriously. 
Move was finished ahead of schedule (only took them about 5.5-6 hours total) and was 100% headache free.  We settled up at the previously agreed upon price - no hidden charges, "extras", or overages that always seem to happen when dealing with moving companies.  They moved us into a recently purchased home, so we do not have plans to move anytime soon; but I will absolutely be calling Burrell's for my next move and have no reservations recommending to others.  Good moving companies are so hard to come by - save your time doing all the research searching for the best provider (I know - I do it to) and give Burrell's a call.  It will cost a little more than some other companies out there - but a worry free move is worth $75-$100 extra in my opinion.

They gave us an estimate that was $150. I told them that was too high and they brought it down to $125. When they went to do the job, they told us it would be $160! They should have evaluated the job before they quoted us, which they didn't. Also, if they are going to make a quote, they should stick by it!

I found Tee Burrell's information on Craigslist. I called him along with few other movers, and finally decided on Tee based on my conversation with him. Tee gave me a rough estimate over phone, and then came over to finalize a flat rate so there were no hidden costs in the end.

I am very pleased with his punctuality and professionalism. The price was nice as well! He came with three guys and a 26' truck. They wrapped my furniture, arranged the stuff in truck very carefully, and secured everything. His crew was very cheerfull and nice mannered. I am completely satisfied with his work and would definitely use him in future.
