About us
As a lifelong Indianapolis resident, I'm proud of our city and the surrounding suburbs. Great buying opportunities and low interest rates make this an excellent time to realize the dream of that special home. Navigating troubled waters and providing value to my clients is my passion, and I have a unique skill set to accomplish just that. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Building Construction Management Technology and Engineering, with additional specializations in Mechanical and Electrical construction. Following graduation, I worked as a Project Engineer with a local construction engineering firm, using my training to complete multiple high profile water treatment projects. While earning my degree, I worked in custom residential construction, learning what to look for in a trouble-free, well-constructed home. So why is this important to you as a buyer or seller? Instead of hoping for a good result in the biggest financial decision of your life, you will have the critical eye of a trained professional evaluating your purchase and representing your sale. Most realtors can pull comps, discuss interest rates, etc. But can they look at foundation integrity, thermal efficiency, load dynamics and all the other factors that make a good home great, then help you make an informed decision? I can. I became a Professional Realtor to bring real value to clients at a vulnerable point in their lives. I am committed to our mutual success in every single transaction, and look at lifelong relationships as the true measure of my success. Contact me at Kucic Associates Realty and let our team of professionals make your sale or purchase a pleasant reality. Working with Brian was great! Brian was able to set up house visits whenever I had time to see a house. It could be during the morning, day, or night. He was very flexible with me and worked with my schedule. We worked together for about 5 months.
He did not rush me to buy a house that I did not like or when I thought I liked a house he gave me pros and cons. He even set up house visits multiple times so I was able to show my family many different houses. He was very patient with me and I appreciated all of his feed back.
I also learned a lot working with Brian. He would point out potential hazards on homes and was able to tell me if the house was treated for termites amongst other things. I also learned what a foundation retention plate looks like and that it's there to ultimately pull the wall back.
Brian and I had a few good laughs looking at some homes that were just not for me. He is very smart and has a great personality that makes him easy to work with. He is very professional with his work and would always have a bottle of water for me while we saw multiple houses. He would return calls and emails within a timely manner. I never felt like I was left in the dark about any issues at hand.
I did buy a house finally and would work with him again on selling my house down the road.
He also has a construction engineering background which sets him above his peers. He would walk to the front door of the home to view and already have scanned the yard for drain problems, issues with the yard, exterior issues, many things we didn't notice at all. There was one home where we were only a bit through the house, he was in back yard. He came in and he said I think it's time to go. I can't let you buy this one as it has some strange things going on in the backyard. By looking at the backyard he just knew there were going to be issues and he didn't want to see us fall into a non solid purchase. It was a lake home that he had us walk away from. Could have been lots of dollars in his pocket but he looked out for us instead.
When there was a question about structural changes to a home, he knew exactly what the answers were with his construction engineering background. So, we knew going into a home if something was doable or not and estimate of costs.
I personally don't know much about the house purchasing process and Brian always was very professional even if giggling under his breath, at my very silly questions. I'm pretty sure I drove him crazy but it never showed. He gave me clear and simple answers to all of the madness.
With his help we purchased an amazing home that is perfect for us. The house has so much character. Brian appreciates architecture, warmth, charm, and the character a wonderful home offers and he will help you see that if you normally wouldn't notice.
During the negotiation portion of our adventure, he would advise us, but in the end he would do whatever we asked him to do. It was our money in the end and he knew that. He went over and above to close the deal on our home that he knew we wanted so badly.
There was a point when us and the seller were at an impasse. The deal looked bleak after inspection as the seller wouldn't budge and it was a safety issue. All I will say is Brian stepped up and took action that I've never heard of a realtor doing before.
He was so fun to work with and we miss him being around. He was like a part of our family day in and day out for a few months. Highly recommend and advise anyone that wants an educated professional to help them find their next home, call Brian! He will be our go to go in the future if we find ourselves needing his line of work again.
He was extremely responsive to all of our questions through out the process. It didn't seem to matter on the day or time (including weekends).
His background in construction allowed him to give us advice and provide options regarding potential renovations at every house we visited.
He also provided us a lot of good information regarding various contacts during the buying process (lenders, inspectors, etc.) as well as for ongoing future home maintenance (lawn care, general contractors, etc.)
We closed in almost exactly 2 months from the first time we spoke with Brian. Our process went very smoothly and much of that can be attributed to his advice and guidance from day 1.
On a final note, aside from his professionalism and knowledge, he is personally just a pleasure to work with.
Brian's extensive background in real estate and construction was very helpful when viewing different properties. Brian was there as an expert and consultant, not an agent telling me what I wanted to hear to make a sale. I ended up buying an old home in Fountain Square from the 1890's that had been renovated. The home inspection was very thorough and the resulting report was a bit overwhelming. Brian was able to pull out the critical findings and break down the report in a way that was easy to understand. Brian was then able to successfully negotiate all repairs to the home outlined in my inspection response.
When all was said and done, Brian was there to help every step of the way. From the initial showing, to the closing table. He possesses a high level of integrity and wins over his clients very early on with his knowledge and expertise. I had worked with realtors in the past that were pushy, untrustworthy and prioritized the sale over my best interest. My experience with Brian was the complete opposite, which is why I made my first home purchase with him as my agent. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking to buy a home in the Indianapolis area.
I was referred to Brian from a friend that had recently used him to purchase his new home. I had already interviewed two other agents prior to sitting down with Brian. After spending only 15 minutes with Brian I hired him on the spot.. Brian is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the local real estate market. He gave me tips on small updates and staging ideas to get the home sold quickly. It must have worked because we had an offer in the first 24 hours of the home going on the market. Brian was also excellent during the inspection process because of his engineering background. I will definitely use Brian for my next home and I will always recommend his services to other friends and colleagues.
Brian is incredibly easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the real estate industry. He is very focused on knowing the area in which he's doing business and he backs up his opinions with data, which I love. We were able to make very informed decisions with all of the data and expertise Brian provided. One thing that stood out to us about Brian was his extensive knowledge with regards to home building and construction. This helped us in a lot of areas which included getting the house ready before listing, post-inspection repair guidance, and with the construction of our new home. I would recommend Brian to anyone who is looking to sell, buy, or build a new home.
