This was a long process - which was all my fault. And they were very patient with me. I initially met with Kristina at their location. I brought photos of the fireplace and my rudimentary measurements. We live in an old home and I wanted to keep that look. I chose Rookwood Tile from Cincinnati - they have been in business for a LONG time and many homes in the neighborhood have their original tile. She developed a beautiful plan and we made some adjustments along the way as we talked about what would work and the aesthetics. I also worked with the initial tile installer to make sure that the plan could be implemented. This is all hand fired and hand glazed tile - so once ordered it took several weeks to come in. Kristina was out for a while and another designer pitched right in to make sure things got ordered and done on time - once I FINALLY made a decision. When the original tile installer stopped returning my calls, they helped me find a new one. I needed someone with good skills as this was not going to be an easy job to install - due to the mantle tiles. I also double check their recommendation with Angies List and they worked out great.

They mis-calculated our job by 35%, setting the project back by a month, and leaving us with our house torn up over the holidays. When I called about it, they failed to apologize. After they admitted their mistake, they offered to cover the postage on the additional tile, but did not apologize for the mistake. They told me to mail samples (for matching) to the manufacturer.
The installation company interceded and took the samples to Fishers so that ABand T could mail them in themselves.

We had purchased tile for a kitchen backsplash from Architectural Brick and Tile few years earlier with good results so went back to them for this job. They spoke with us about various flooring options and pluses and minuses of each. Their personnel are very knowledgable. We purchased travertine for flooring and the shower floor and walls and have been very happy with the choice.
