Total disaster from the beginning. Contracted for sale around memorial day with owner Lee Parsons. Schedule was set for the following: staging and pricing 16 - 20th of June, sale was to take place 21, 22, & 23 June. Parsons indicated that we hd more than enough for a profitable sale and saw between 20 to 30 thousand dollar sale. Sale manager Jacob phoned on Sunday the 15th that he was in the area with his family and wanted to drop by and leave his equipment. Jacob arrived, unloaded tables & equipment, walked through the house and around the property, and indicated we had more than enough for a sale and that he took around 600 photos. I found that to be questionable. Jacob stated that he had to get a crew together and would be returning Monday to start staging. On Monday there was no Jacob. We received a call late Monday afternoon stating he could not make it and would be at the house early Tuesday. This put us behind schedule because our house had sold and closing was set for 28 June. Jacob stated that he was putting a crew together and would need 4 to 5 people to get everything staged and priced. Tuesday Jacob and one other employee showed up. Later in the morning a third employee showed up. By Thursday the 20th it was evident they would not be completed as promised and we started to question how they could be completed. We complained to the owner afrer Jacob stated the sale would be changed from a 3 day sale to a 2 day. We told one of the owners [ Tiffany wife of Lee] we wanted no sale if rthey could not have a 3 day sale. She showed up Friday, inspected the house, stated it was a mess. She agreed that a 3 day sale would be held Sat, Sun, and Monday. All day Friday we did not hear from her. Friday night she called stating that even though they were not done with prep work the sale would go on. Because only 50% of the items were staged and only a third of that was priced we wanted the sale canceled. She stated she had to much invested to not have the sale and threatened to put a lien on our home if they weren't allowed to proceed. They had us between a rock and a hard place due to our house sale closing the following Friday. We were not allowed to be around during the sale. We photographed prior to the sale and found no large or higher valued antiques marked at all. Only small items were marked and nothing over $50 was priced. We took inventory after the sale based on videos we took and detail sale sheet they produce and found all high valued items gone. On the detail sheet only a few items were identified as generic none of the high valued items were identified. Most items on the sheet were sold to whomever for 10 cents on the dollar. We can only speculate what became of all the furniture and vintage antiques. About half of the household items did not sell because they were not either staged nor priced. Needless to say they didn't even come close to meeting their commitments. Be aware of this company and possible questionable dealings and stay close while the sale is on. E

Wow! From the early interview, to the final reporting of the financials the day after the sale, everything went as forecast and exceeded our expectations in all respects. Our home was left clean' in beautiful shape and everything was gone! The final result was double the amount that we expected to realize as well. Lee Parson and his crew were all friendly, efficient, and welcoming to everyone who attended our sale. We highly recommend them with confidence that your experience will equal ours!

They were prompt, knowledgeable, and offered a fair price. Perhaps could have gotten more, but we did not have time to explore other opportunities. They also had some great suggestions for other antique dealers in the area.

We were downsizing from a 4 BR house to a 2 BR condo, so none of our furniture would fit. Lee and his team came to our home in west suburban Chicago on a Tuesday to mark (barcode) all of our goods, not just furniture, but books, artwork, kitchen supplies, plants, ladders, tools--everything collected by a household over 30 years. The sale was held on the following Friday and Saturday. Lee provided a Friday night update, and on Saturday evening, he provided the results--total proceeds by bar-coded item, Aether's commission and the proceeds to us. He said the cashier's check would be mailed on the following Monday and it arrived on Wednesday.
We were very pleased with the whole process, and would use Aether Estate Sales again if the need arose.

If you have an Estate with lots of collectibles, antiques, furniture and overall great items and you have no idea how to rid yourself of this burden, I recommend that you contact Aether Estate Sales.  I am moving to the West Coast and had so many things that I needed to be rid  in order to reduce moving expenses.  Lee Parsons the owner and proprietor of Aether Estate Sales is just awesome.  Lee and his team took a very stressful time of ridding my home of a massive amount of items (i.e. Hummels, Lladros, collectibles, antiques and custom made Oriental furniture).  Why not do it yourself using normal methods like, garage sales, Craiglists and consignment or various resale shops you ask?  Well those processes would have required me to do all the work, pricing, transporting and selling.  Aether Estates took care of all that....they researched items, priced, staged and sold all items for me.....my home actually resembled an upscale antique/high end furniture boutique during the sale.  The Aether Staff were friendly, respectful, and fun.  They took over the entire process which made it less stressful upon me! They took pictures of all items and placed them on their website for their customers to view, they covered all credit card transaction and advertising fees. They advertised the sale on their website prior to and during the sale.  Customers came from as far as Ohio and Kentucky to attend the sale and were signing up the get in the 2 days prior to the start.  They were excited to get to see my pieces and I was excited to see the pieces go.  Lee told me all my pieces would sell and they did! Every piece was gone by the 3rd and last day of the sale.  Aether Estate Sales are not Garage Sales they are so much more classy......I like to think of an Aether tag sale as a boutique sale on steroids.  All items are very unique and well displayed.

The Aether Staff were friendly and felt like family by the end of the sale.  They had had a lot of interaction with me before and during the sale.  They took great care on learning about the history of my items (origin and age) in order to provide their customers as much item information as they could.  Every item was barcoded and tagged....no little feat when you have a huge amount of items, as I did.  I was provided an inventory of all my items for sale and a total accounting at the end of the sale and the price of every item that was sold. My cashiers check for my potion of the sale was received in a timely manner.    I am telling you deciding to use Aether for my Estate Sale was the best decision I have ever made.  It was a no brainer.

I would like the thank Lee &Tiffany Parsons for their professionalism, kindness and helpful attitude during a very stressful time for me .  I would also like to thank the Aether Staff, Katherine and the other wonderful ladies for their kindness, professionalism and most of all their sense of humor at a time that can be very sad for a homeowner.  Ridding your life of things is not easy and can be heartbreaking, however, The Aether Estate sales staff managed to make the process so much fun....that heartbreak nor sadness never entered my mind.  They kept me laughing.    I love Aether Estate Sales and will be a customer of theirs for life!

It was great. Lee was always responsive and made the process very simple for us from thousands of miles away. We were given clear expectations and communication, making the scheduling and execution run very smoothly. Nearly all the items were sold and the leftovers were picked up by Salvation Army. It was much easier than we ever expected, the sale proceeds met our expectations, and we will definitely recommend or use the service again for any downsizing or estate needs.

This service is a godsend! I sold my house and was downsizing, and Aether came in and organized a tag sale of all my unwanted items, took care of the sale, and left my house empty and ready for the new owners. I didn't have to do a thing! They are very professional, courteous, transparent and did a timely job. I received a check for the amount of my sale in just a few days. It really made what could have been a very difficult job much, much easier.

Aether Estate Sales Company did a fantastic job.  I have never had to deal with something like this.  When I contacted Aether they sent a detailed description of their services that answered most of my questions and outlined a number of things I hadn't considered.  Mainly, due to my anxiety about this, I sent them several follow up questions.  They always responded quickly with a complete answer.  I was unsure of the dates and they "penciled" me in.  Once the date was set for the sale, they gave me a date for the preparation, which they did as promised.  They advertised the sale online and put up lots of signs on the day of the sale that brought in additional people.  Items were nicely displayed and each item was reasonably priced and bar coded.  From the estate sale customer's viewpoint I think was a well organized sale to attend.  I showed up at the end of the sale.  The Aether team was pleasant, professional, and in control.  The future homeowner was unhappy about the sale occurring in his new home and he showed up frequently during the sale to monitor the situation. He ended up thanking me for hiring such a professional team.  At the end of the sale, as I requested, all the remaining items were packed up and donated to the Salvation Army immediately following the sale.  The Aether team stayed to supervise the donation and make sure everything was fully wrapped up. The next day I received a detailed account of the sale.  They even promised to sell some nice items that had not sold on Ebay for me and send me the proceeds.  There service was outstanding as promised!

It went very well. Adam showed up on Wednesday and spent 2 days pricing then the sale was held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday..they were receptive to all our suggestions and had very good advice when we needed it.. My only advice would be to know what expensive things are worth.

Aether did a fantastic job on our downsizing sale in Fishers last weekend! They helped with our family decision for my dad to move in to a condo, and for us to downsize 3 generations of collectibles.  Although we were all looking forward to this transition, our contact, Lee, was very thoughtful and helped us through the unexpected times we got a bit emotional or confused.  He was very accurate and clear about the services and processes.  The staging was excellent, and all went very smoothly!  We are strongly considering using Aether for an upcoming moving sale as well.  We appreciate that Aether manages an excellent on-site sale, and researches values and contacts collectors, markets well.  We greatly appreciate that items which don't sell are auctioned, then the remaining items are donated.  Aether gives comprehensive tracking, which will be very helpful to us when we claim deductions for the donated items.  Throughout, Lee was very professional, prompt and attentive in responding to texts, in helping us make decisions throughout the process, and in collaborating to make the sale successful.

Lee and his team from Aether Estate Sales Company were very responsive from my initial call to them. We are relocating from our large Greenwood home to a smaller residence in Southern California. Lee met with my wife and identified which items we wished to sell. We wanted to sell a substantial amount of furniture, household items, tools, lawn and garden equipment, etc. Lee's team then inventoried the items to be sold and applied barcode tage to them along with pricing. They then moved everything that was not going to be sold to rooms that were off limits. I was amazed on the day of the sale. The sale was scheduled to begin at 8:00am, but there were many people lined up waiting to get into our home. The sale lasted for two days and was a tremendous success. As a comparison, when we moved into this house, we had a completely full moving van as well as a 28 ft U-Haul truck that was also full. When we moved out, we barely filled 1/3 of the moving van with just the items that we wanted to keep. The sale ended late Saturday afternoon. Someone even bought the trash can from our kitchen. You name it, somebody bought it. Lee and his team worked very hard to clear out rooms that were almost empty and consolidate to other locations. As the rooms were emptied, Lee would then vacumn the floors that were clear. After the sale was completed, I received a check for the proceeds a few days later. There were a few items that did not sell, however those were loaded up and taken to a consignment shop. Once they do sell there, Aether will send me a monthly check until everything is gone. I did not have to lift a finger from start to finish. Aether did it all. This is just what the doctor ordered and at a very fair price. I highly recommend Aether Estate Sales, Co.
