Horrible not what I wanted

It did not go well. First, they came and left materials and plants in our backyard before we got permission from our HOA. We had been out of town and had to call the next morning to have them come back to take the materials away. Then after we did get permission from our HOA, they insisted on installing when it had poured rain the night before. We have drainage problems, too, so whatever grass we had in the areas where they walked was destroyed. They re-seeded the areas but that may not work. They arrived while we were at a doctor appointment and chopped off foliage I specifically had asked the sales guy, Andy, for them to leave alone. That foliage will take years to grow back. They were digging mud so when they laid the flagstones, the edges were filled in with clumps. I had spoken with the designer a week before and asked that some of the plant varieties be changed. The workers somehow never got that message. When I told them of the change I had requested, one of them had to drive back to the nursery to get the requested plants. The new plants were brought and planted - way too close together. I had to ask to see the plant tags to find the recommended planting distance, which they obviously had not read. The foreman really wanted to be done and did not want to replant them. I figured out a way to make it the least amount of effort and time for them to make this change and they ended up removing one of the plants entirely because there was really not enough space. The workers appeared to know absolutely nothing about plants and I’m not sure the salesman/owner knows much, either. I could go on because there were several other issues but I’ll stop now. Suffice it to say, I will never use Stockers again nor recommend them to friends.

terrible, in every respect. 2 months behind schedule low spots were not leveled with dirt did not finish the small paver area....told me how to finish it myself...grass did not come up their alleged top soil was hard clay. when finished gave me a bill for an amount 700.00 above the original contract price for extra work he said was not on original agreement but when I showed him the contract he said that he would accept the original price...what a nice guy huh? would never use or recommend them to anyone.

Ran into weather problems (rain). Delayed installation. Communication not real good during delays. Had to redo one wall. Did so with no additional charge even though I am sure it cost them money. Kept to original bid.  Love the finished product. Clean up of yard was great.

Mr. Stocker came out and provided a quote, which I thought was high, but had nothing to which to compare. When the work was completed, he called to tell me that he had over-quoted the job and he reduced the price by $300! I appreciated this level of accountability and honesty. The work that was done was done well.

I would recommend Stocker's to anyone that wants a good quality landscaping job done.  He took a hands on personal interest in every aspect of the project even though mine was relatively small.  All of his employees were very knowledgeable and hard working.  Even when I made some changes during the job Mr. Stocker and his crew were very accommodating.  My experience with this company has renewed my faith that there are some company's out there that still understand the concept of customer satisfaction and service.  I have some future landscaping planned and will look no further than Stocker's.

The beds look fantastic and I have received several compliments.  I thought the price was high for the work completed, but I believe the ideas, plans, punctuality and professionalism made Stocker Landscape a good overall value.  I would recommend their services and I plan to use them again.

I did not have a good experience with them at all since they did not do a perfect job at all.  They have very bad communication and their guy comes and tells me what he is going to do but does not communicate the same to his people.  He never returns my calls and when he tells me that he is coming he does not come.

They did fine.  They were prompt and they did a good job.

Stocker's Landscaping was very good. I think they're creative and they're friendly. They seem to be happy to hear from me when I call. Their prices are very good.

Other than hard time getting estimate everything is fine now. Weather may have played a role.  Lots of rain at that time.

I selected Stocker’s Landscaping to do the work.  Mr. Charlie Stocker met with me for the initial planning phase and later returned with his vision of my plan.  He invited me out to the nursery so I could see and select exactly the plants we would ultimately use.  Charlie was flexible and allowed me to make changes; and he discussed each selection with me to ensure that my selections properly met my goal. The project included 3 trees and 38 shrubs/plants; and required at least 8 tons of river rock, top soil and compost.  The project took about 3 days to complete and the team took time to clean up at the end of each day’s work.  At times there were as many as 5 people working in my yard.  All of the team members were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.  Andy, the team leader, was especially helpful… providing valuable input into the proper placement of each specimen.  I love the completed project and highly recommend Stocker’s Landscaping. 

An estimate was given in a timely manner with a specific plan and prices.  On the day the work was to begin, the crew arrived on time, completed the job and cleaned up after themselves.  The plants and tree were of excellent quality and healthy.  I would absolutely use them again.  The pricing was fair.

We had a patio replaced by another individual and our backyard was torn up by bulldozers and workman.  Mr. Stocker and his crew came in and leveled our backyard and placed sod around the patio, planted a tree and planted a corner garden.  We are so pleased.  Originally, I had a much more detailed vision of our backyard but Mr. Stocker, after meeting our 4 active children, recommended a scaled down version (and less costly) of my ideas.  I am so thankful that we still have flow through our backyard and a place where our children can play but the adults still have the beautiful landscaping.  I highly recommend Stocker's landscaping.

We had a real good experience with Stocker's.  Their price was reasonably competitive. We would certainly use them in the future.

The experience has been excellent so we have hired them again.

I didn’t spend too much on their services.  I like their personal service.  They were really personable and efficient.  I will use them again in the future if I need to.

The project took about 2 days to complete. Just be sure to communicate what you do and don't want done.

Stocker's estimate was complete and timely prepared. It included a breakdown that allowed us the option to deduct items from the project if we wanted to do some of the landscaping ourselves. The wall and landscaping were begun on time and any questions we had were responded to quickly. When the work was finished all of the ties, plants, etc were gone and we had a clean finished look. We couldn't be happier. Great job! We'll be calling them again.
