Very good service. If you aren't familiar with the difficulty of the spark plug change in Ford F150's then this might seem like an exorbitant price. The price was actually very reasonable compared to the majority of service centers doing this repair. Owners who have had to go through this ordeal have paid upwards of $2k and some have even needed engine replacement.
Steve was very knowledgeable and up-front about the time and complexity of the job, as well as working this job in during a holiday weekend. I had also been having problems with what I thought was the transmission, after Steve fixed the spark plugs, he took it on a road test and found that the 'transmission trouble' was actually caused by misfiring spark plugs.
He also noticed that my truck needed a oil change soon, so he threw that in for no charge.
We recently moved to the area and I used Angie's List to find Steve's. I wasn't disappointed and will continue to use him for all my future car repair needs.

Our home is in Texas and our daughter attends school in Evansville, IN, 1000 miles away. She has always had her car maintained and serviced at the local Toyota dealership. However, when she had serious engine troubles that required replacing the engine, she took it to Steve at the recommendation of one of her professors. Steve confirmed that the engine was indeed shot. With over 140,000 miles on the car, we decided to sell rather than repair. Steve offered a fair price, paid cash, and supplied me with the pen to validate the 100 dollar bills.
My daughter drove to Steve's shop a couple of times as he evaluated her car. She's an attractive 22 year old young lady, if I do say so myself, and she always felt comfortable and safe in Steve's shop. He treated her with respect, explained and showed the car's troubles to her well enough for her to explain them to me over the phone.
Steve's an old-school car guy with a no-frills shop. He offers the best kind of all-American service at a small business that is becoming hard to find. I wish I'd known of him all along, and had my daughter use him for her out-of-town service. I'd rather give my money to him than to a dealership. I suspect he'd have charged less, and may even have prevented the problem that cost us the loss of the car. As a father, I thank Steve for treating my daughter well and for giving her a little auto education.

His prices are reasonable, but I never got the work done. My husband was able to do the work on his own for cheaper.

I took my car in for a grinding/squeeking noise. Steve was able to listen and accurately diagnose the problem quickly, get my car in to be fixed, and have it finished in a couple hours. He did the testing for free and even gave me advice as to other things I might want to consider in the future. He was also upfront with costs for both what I NEEDED and what I COULD have done. I was very pleased with his service and attention to my car's needs.

It went great. I took my car in around 9:00 and he was finished with everything at about 1:30- 2:00. it's a one man show so he handles everything himself but he does a great job and makes sure you know what is wrong so you will be knowledgable in the future instead of just fixing it and telling you how much it costs. he's a great repair man and has your wallet in mind...in a good way!

I have ben to this individual (one man shop) many times. Repairs are completed when promised for the price promised. parts are consistently more expensive than labor. the shop isn't pretty. no fancy waiting rooms, just honest service. highly recommended.

Friendly, prompt, trustworthy. One man shop. The only repair facility that i've encountered where labor is often less than the cost of parts.
