Stellar Painting

They did an excellent job of painting our condo complex. Very neat and very picky on cleaning and painting. I will be in charge of having the other half of the complex painted next year. We have already signed a contract.

Punctual, professional, came back and did some caulking that I didn't even know needed done. Having them do bedroom the end of May. Pricey, but worth it for superior job!

There was an issue with paint supplier (Porter Paints) giving painter the incorrect color twice. Provider was not responsible for errors since correct info had been provided. Provider had agreed to work late in the evening so that the job would be completed that day for my convenience. Two separate trips were made to get the correct color from Porter. When they were not able or willing to accommodate our needs, arrangements were made to get the necessary paint from another source with no expense tome. A team of 3 workers were at my home until 12:45 AM in order to complete the job as requested. Large quantities of excess paint (3 gallons of one color plus almost 2 gallons of second color and 1 gallon of third color) were left with the customer for future use as needed. In addition, they did paint my entire fireplace mantel versus touchup of a very small area that had paint drips on it, The following morning the owner did come back for follow up check on the job and was more than willing to make any corrections if needed....none were needed. I would definitely use this provider again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

We are very grateful to Angie’s List for providing us with an avenue to find a truly wonderful painter for the exterior of our house. Mr. Terry Kennedy, the owner of Stellar Painting, was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly when we contacted him to get a quotation. He assessed our situation and came back with a quote and plan a couple days later. He was very helpful with color and paint selection for our 40-year old home. Terry agreed to work with us to utilize our existing storm windows by painting them to match the windows and siding. This worked very well although it resulted in extra detail work for Terry and his crew.

Terry Kennedy of Stellar Painting has been such a professional and personable person to do business with. He has certainly treated this job as if it were his own house, taking great pains to ensure that the job not only looks great, but is done well too. Mr. Kennedy utilized a crew of various support personnel depending on the task at hand. All of them were courteous and conscientious. We have already received compliments on his work from several neighbors and friends. Terry's suggestions and ideas have been outstanding and the finished work reflects his dedication to his customers.

In a nut shell, it went great. Terry is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was very professional and met up with me frequently to make sure the house turned out the way I wanted it to. He squeezed my house in between two other projects and finished it in less than 2 weeks. He didn't just paint the walls. He added/fixed so many little details, many of which I wouldn't have thought of but contribute greatly to the finished product, like trimming a notch in one of my baseboards to make it fit around a heat return in the wall and so much more. He also had to do a lot of wall repair in the kitchen after removing a ton of little tiles from all over the walls. My house is small but it was a very big job. I love, love, LOVE the way it turned out and I am so proud of my house. He came out almost 2 months later to repair the door in my master bedroom after my dog panicked and tore it up. He sanded down the door frame and repainted it. What caused the dog to panic was having new counter tops installed, and the company doing the installation damaged my wall extensively when they removed the old counter tops. The company didn't measure the backsplash properly and had to take it be resized, leaving exposed, botched drywall covered in old glue. Terry came out within hours of my call and fixed the wall and painted it for me so it would look better for my open house, which was in 2 days. I really can't say enough good things about this company and I would highly, highly recommend!

He was very pricey but very good. His name was Terry Kennedy. He is a premium painter so he does a lot of big jobs. His prices are up there but he did a fantastic job. I liked the quality of the work.

Came on March 12 but didn't finish the job until May 29. I do not trust him and I would not recommend him for his services. I wouldn't want anyone to have to suffer like I have with this service provider.

The weather was a deterant as epoxy paint was being used. The floor had to be sanded, etched with acid, cleaned and then dried.
The rainy weather made the floor harder to dry, but patience proved to be necessary. When dried the first coat of paint was applied.
The next day the second coat was applied and flakes applied. We did not use our furnace as fumes would have been drawn into the house when the paint was applied.

I approached Terry while he was painting my neighbor's porch, front door and shutters. I asked his advise on a problem with my bathroom wall. He looked at the problem, offered suggestions and answered my questions. I also had him look at the wall in my den which had a lot of bad places in it. He explained what needed to be done to make the wall really stand out. I was concerned about pricing so he worked with me and told me what he could do for what I could afford. He suggested I go with a two-tone effect since I had chair rail. He worked with me on a color scheme and it turned out wonderful. I am very pleased. Terry's work ethic is top notch. He is friendly, prompt, and will work with you to your satisfaction. He does large or small jobs and I have already sung his praises to others. I will certainly call him again.
