SERVPRO OF EAST EVANSVILLE

I was in the nursing home. My daughter and husband took care of it. They got the water problem fixed outside. SERVPRO came to rebuild the room and the bathroom. My daughter had to be on them constantly. They came in and they didn't put down plastic where they were walking back and forth on the carpet. So my husband asked them to do that. They did that. They were supposed to tear up the old tile from the bedroom floor to get it ready for the people who were going to come and put it down the next day. Four of them came and measured and walked off. The people came the next day and it wasn't ready for them. Then, they nailed the bathroom wall board. My daughter said, "Well, you'll have to glue that on." They said they used white nails. She said, "Yeah, but you hit them with a hammer and knocked the head off. So they're going to rust because the head is gone from the white nails." The baseboards still aren't even. They don't go all the way down to the floor. There is a gap. The doors don't shut right. She was contacted by the people that said, "Can you have a check ready when we get done?" She said, "No. I want to check it first. I want the inventory." They said, "Why do you want the inventory?" She said, "Because I want to check everything." They said, "When you get the inventory, can you pay right then?" She said, "No. I want to check it over." So, they reluctantly gave her an inventory. They charged for six doors and we only got three. They charged for crown molding in the laundry room, which they did not put up. They took about $2000 off the bill because they didn't do that. She called them back. She was on the phone for hours with them. She had the contractor's personal cell phone number and she would call him every morning and tell him what was wrong. He got mad and said, "Well, heads will roll over that." He just sent crews out to do it and they didn't do what they were supposed to do. They put up a toilet paper roll holder and it came loose about a month ago. I had to hire somebody to come in and fix that. We wouldn't recommend them. They didn't know what they were doing.
