I had a terrible experience with this company.  I contracted them to put a new roof on my home.  They were a lot slower in getting the roof put on than expected.  They told me it would take two weeks and it took one month.  They also had put half the roof on and it was a wrong color.  They did end up giving me a $500 credit for that.  The subdivision I live in has homes with all matching roofs except mine which I felt detracted for what I was able to sale my home for.  They did not get the vents sealed so when I had my home painted it ruined the ceiling.  They also damaged my gutters.  They were not responsive and did not call me back.  After advising them of possible legal action they did come back and put new gutters on and fixed the vents.  The price was right and all the information on Angie's List was good but my experience was bad.

Mr. Lee Scott was very personable and punctual.  He worked with me on the replacement of those items.  He assisted in picking out the singles we wanted.  His crew worked very hard and with no incidents. His clean up was adequate.  The overall job went very smooth; however, they forgot to replace one bathroom vent pipe boot which resulted in a leak.  We have tried to contact him NUMEROUS times through email and phone.  We did get one response from him which he indicated that he would replace the vent cap but never showed up.  Again, we tried to contact him over the last two months by phone and email to no avail.  His cell phone seemed to be turned off and at a later date I left a voice mail and tried contacting him again and a message said that his voice mail was full.  We still have not resolved the issue and I will have to resolve it myself because I have incurred a slight water damage to some drywall.

We liked the price; however they did not come soon enough. They did not come until a couple of weeks later after more rain had come so that was frustrating. They were kind of sloppy in their appearance so that affected my judgment, I guess. Their manner and their language all affected my judgment. They also did my neighbor’s house too and I have small children; the roofers made a lot of noise and if I had known that I would not have hired them. I was out of town when they did my roof so I did not know how they were. We developed a leak in the roof after they finished where there had never been before and they came back out and fixed it. I will not use them again in the future.

Showed up on time and worked long hours to get it done before it rained again!  We had a leak and they worked us in pretty quickly.  They picked up most of the mess, we found a few roofing nails here and there after they left.  It looks really good and we have no more leaks.

They was 30% less than competitors. Was very prompt. Finished when promised. Did not try to take advantage of her like most contractors do by up-selling when they see older people. Excellent work!

Cost was two-thirds of one other estimate and around $900 less than next lowest. Cleanup was satisfactory.

I had several other companies measure and quote this job, and I had a hard time believing the prices that they were giving me. I knew about what shingles cost, and how much time a good crew would take, so their markup seemed ridiculus. Mr. Scott does not advertise and only gets business by word of mouth and by knocking on doors. He noticed that my roof was in dire need of replacing and knocked on my door. I was a bit skeptical of his price (it was just over half of the others), and that I had never heard of them, but I had a long chat with him, and he suggested everything that I wanted to ask anyway. He had several refences, and had done some roofs in my neighborhood. They are licensed, and I found them on the BBB website, so I thought I would give them a shot. He did not ask for payment up front, only a $100 deposit, so this helped my decision as well. We signed a contract/proposal and they were there to start a couple days later. He took care of the permit and gave that to me when they showed up the first day. They were there for 2 days (short days). They had a crew of 3-4 working. They showed up early a.m. and stopped around noon. It was brutally hot and they did not want to damage the shingles by walking on them...not to mention risk themselves having a heat stroke. When the job was done, I only found 1 nail in my yard, and I think it washed out of the gutter...yes, they even cleaned out my gutters! They were short by one small section of ridge vent, so Mr. Scott returned the third day to finish that. He also fixed a pesky piece of siding that I had been fighting with for a couple of years (it would not stay snapped in place). He had to adjust and renail several pieces of the siding...and he did this as a courtesy...no charge.
