Being someone with a disability I know the importance of having safety items such as grab bars installed properly. I hired S&S to completely remodel my kitchen, refinish the original hardwood floors, and add railing to my front porch. Eric and his team did a great job and I will definitely hire them again the future. They opened the kitchen wall, tiled the floor, added a backsplash, refinished the hardwood floors, and much more. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job. I would recommend everyone invite Eric out for an estimate and I'm sure he will win you over.

Was told 2 week turnaround by Eric, ended up being 10 weeks. Some days no one showed up. Days they did work, they would show up around 10 am, take a 2 hour lunch, then leave at 5. Had several errors within work that we caught before it was too late to fix (boxed in area for refrigerator was too small, same with gas stove, placement of some electrical receptors). One of the cabinets fell off the wall because of placement and had to be replaced. S & S did buy the new cabinet. We ended up painting the walls cause no one showed up that day to paint. We finally stopped some of the work from being done (installation of hard wood floors, trim around doors and windows, and back splash) because they were taking too long and we ran out of money. The quote was misleading, we questioned it several times. Since the work was finished we have had several problems, including a major one with the kitchen sink. Just had to call another plumber to come out and fix the drain. It was literally coming apart and draining water all over floor and basement. We did not want them to come out and repair it since it wasn't done correct in the first place. Already have a light out in kitchen, not sure if it is the light or the electrical work that was done. Now we have discovered that the dishwasher is blocked from being removed because Eric suggested we install floors in the end. So the floor is blocking the dishwasher from coming out from underneath the granite counter tops. We paid too much for the work that was completed. We will not hire S & S Elite for anything else. They offer 1 year warranty also, but we will not be using it. We will hire someone else.

"I am truly at a loss for words. I never said two weeks. Ever. If we didn't show up on a day I'm sure there was a reason. The cabinet didn't fall off the wall because of placement it fell because one of my workers made a bad judgment call and thought the one anchorholding it tight to the wall would have held it long enough to ask me a question it was a single 15" wall cabinet. His mistake I paid to replace it. You text me asking if it was ok if you went ahead and did the second coat of paint after we left for the day so I said sure and I didn't charge for it I took that out of the bill. Not one time the entire time we were there working did you complain about anything. When we finished you said everything was great I even called you several weeks after we finished to check and make sure everything was good. You said nothing. The quote wasn't misleading it was straight forward it was item by item quoted right there. If it wasn't on the quote it was not included. You originally said you was going to paint and do the trim then asked me how much more it would cost and when I quoted the price you acted shocked that it should have been included but you said you were going to do it so I didn't quote for it. I told you we could get a plumber in there to do the plumbing you said no it was fine I could do it. So I did it I don't know what kind of problem you had but I can assure you if you would have told me about it I would have made sure to make it right at no cost to you. That's why we have a guarantee on all of our work that we stand by. For the life of me I can't understand why if there is a warranty you would not use it. That's why it's there. Oh and as for the dishwasher I never said to put your floor in in front of the dishwasher. You pull the dish washer out and the stove and put the flooring in all the way back to the wall then put your appliances back in on top of the flooring they have feet that are adjustable on the bottom so who ever you had install the floor is to blame for that one not me. I'm truly sorry you have had a few problems since we finished. If I knew I would have fixed them but you said nothing to me to give me a chance to make it right you just came on here and ran my company in the mud without even a chance to make it right. Gee thanks"

Mr Scott was just wonderful!! The awning is perfect and his crew were hardworking. They left no mess of any kind and even left me a tool to help roll back the canvas during bad weather Highly recommended

Eric and the guys got here thinking they only needed to roof over the existing roof on 3 sides. Once here they realized I told them wrong and one side had to be torn off down to the rafters. They worked well into the night to get my roof done. They took great care in getting the exposed roof covered when a storm came in. They treated my home as if it were there's when they were here! They also took into consideration that I have an autistic son that needed special attention due to the construction and routine change. They are a great group of guys and I will have them back to work on my house. They also installed 2 beautiful handrails, new gutters and fixed my leaky sink!

Slow to start but original project ended on time. Sink sprung a leak at start of project (nog contractors fault!) so whole thing went on forever - late May to August. The results are awesome! I'm very happy with that bath and Eric was easy to work with and contributed good ideas along the way. This is not a conventional bath - odd space to fill and I used lots of tile, stacked stone and glass. Plus things had to be changed along the way. Happy to show off the results! And will certainly call them for our next project.

He was on time and very pleasant. Did everything I asked. I had planned to wash and seal our driveway but it rained so he did these other items. I had planned to pay him when finished but he said I would get a bill. I have not gotten a bill after several weeks so I am going to mail in a check. We planned for him to come back June 18th but he did not call or come. I very much appreciate the service they offer at $30/hour but wish there was better communication. I would use them again and just pay them when service was finished.

We initially called to request an estimate to have a bathroom in a house we purchased renovated. We called 4 different companies and S&S Elite Renovations came in with by far the lowest price. Gritting my teeth I figured we'd try to cheapest option and see what happened because usually you get what you pay for. Not in this case. Eric and his crew came in and started on our bathrooms knowing we had a pretty flexible timeline, but a tight budget. The first day they laid tile, Eric wasn't happy with it so he had them rip it up and start over. (Laying 24 X 12 tile is pretty tough). He didn't charge us extra for this bit of work, rather he explained that if he doesn't like the way it looks, he's going to fix it. He was patient, explained everything through the process for us, and even offered us suggestions since this was our first time doing a renovation. He noticed we had wood laminate sitting in our living room waiting to be installed and offered to match the price we got for installation if we wanted him to do it. We had been having problems getting our install scheduled so we jumped on the chance. His team did a phenomenal job. Then he mentioned the backsplash in our kitchen, which was old and dated, probably wouldn't look right in the house we were fixing up. And he was right. We were afraid to remove it and replace it and he offered a flat fee to remove and put up new tile if we just purchased the tile. His tile guy, Phillip, is truly an artist. He explained where he might run into trouble (our walls were bowed), the direction he was going to lay tile so the room would look the best, and when we ran into issues we as homeowners didn't realized would exist they came up with economical and aesthetic solutions.
Their rates were so good I kept throwing odds and ends onto the list and they happily tackled them all. They can do pretty much any handyman, construction, odd job, or even complete remodels. And they can offer advice as to what might look best in a certain situation.
They were professional, timely, economical, and when they were done they cleaned up their mess and hauled off all the debris.
My only word of caution is to be patient if you don't hear back from them right away. When they're on a job, they are focused on the job. Eric not only does the supervising on the team, he's right there with them making sure the job is done right. But he's also the guy that provides the estimates and brings in clients. So hold tight: he'll get back to you and it's WORTH IT!

"I am a little surprised to see that you had such a bad experience with my company. The job started from a big deal purchase which it clearly stated that after the first four man hours if would be at a rate of 27.50 per man hour. I am also surprised to hear that you had someone else come and fix the work seeing as you have a 1 year guarantee on the work. We have not received any phone calls from you stating that there was any problems. Especially with the fact that the job was completed at the end of July. I am sorry that your experience with my company was not up to par. In all fairness I should have been given a chance to make it right. This was the only communication I have had since the job was finished."

I had several issues with the porch roof that had been replaced by a previous contractor. I called Eric on Thursday and explained to him what was wrong with the porch roof and that my back roof was only wood! He came out Friday and looked at what all I had and gave me a quote on what it was going to cost to fix the front and finish replacing the back. He spent the time with me going over different options as to what kind of roofing material to use and answered all my questions. I called him Friday afternoon and told him which type of roof we wanted to go with and he and his crew got started Saturday! By Monday both of my roofs were done and look great! The guys made sure that at the end of each day my roof was covered incase of rain over night, they cleaned up all the old roofing material and ran a magnet over my yard to make sure they got any nails that may have been missed! They were very considerate when I need to stop in the middle of a conversation with them so that I could tend my Autistic son! I'm very happy with their service and professionalism! I will have more work for them in the future and I highly recommend them!
