They came last October to give me an estimate and decided to do the work in May for the same price they had quoted earlier. They charged me $1500 upfront and after purchasing the paint and power-washing the entire home they decided that the wood was to bad to for them to paint and that I was out my $1500.00. They claim to have used the money for 9 gallons of paint at $540.00, the payroll was $748.28, and the power-wash was $175.00 and I only get $36.00 back. I feel like they should have realized that they couldn't do the job when they gave me the estimate back in October or again when they came out back in May. They basically just took my money and told me that they couldn't do the work. Now they are saying its my fault for not wanting to go through with the project when they are the ones who did not do a proper estimate to start with. I will not use this company again.

"Ms. (member name removed) contacted us last year in October for an estimate. It was too late in the season to paint so we decided to wait 'till spring. We went out in May and were to start in June. We had 3 men out at the residence for 3 days. We power washed and began caulking and puttying the house. My foreman noticed some dry rot around a few windows and the back door. We were told by her daughter that she had been told many times of this rot from her. We recommended Popham Construction to fix the windows before we paint. She did not use Popham, they were too expensive. I must note that while they were there they didn't see any other dry rot. (member name removed) went with Reynolds construction to complete the work. Again, i must note that Reynold's construction did not see the dry rot. Work was completed by 8/7/2015 and we were to start painting on 8/10/2015. Paint was purchase. The day we started to paint we realized as we touched the wood that there was A LOT of dry rot. We thought it could be repaired and we would still paint. We recommended (member name removed) have her contractor come out and look at the wood on the house. 8/14/2015 I received a forwarded email from (member name removed) from Reynolds construction recommending that she does not paint at this time. I informed her I would subtract the cost of the paint, which she has, and our time and material and issue a refund. Her refund is $36.00. (member name removed) was very upset by this saying that we should have known her home was riddled with dry rot. Dry rot is not something you can see without a complete inspection, which as painters we are not qualified to do. I believe when the windows were replaced her contractors should have checked for dry rot. I do not have an address to send it to. I have asked numerous times for an address and have got no reply."

We were very satisfied with them. They did a very good job. They didn’t do everything all at once but they still got it done in a reasonable amount of time. He mostly paints for new construction houses but he said he would do our house but he was going to have to work it in. He worked it in and we are still very satisfied. He got it done in a reasonable amount of time. He is just very friendly. He does a very good job. He is not cheap but he is reasonable and he is reliable.

Provider did good work. Son-in-law lacked the experience and quality was not as good as that of provider.

I was very pleased with their work. I was impressed with the amount of time that was taken to caulk and seal all craicks before paining the exterior. Very professional and took pride in their work. Polite and considerate of all personal belongings. The price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

We didn’t get them from Angie’s List. We just found them in our phone book. We had a positive experience with them. They were just easy to work with. They came in on the budget, and they tried to do everything they could to keep us on budget. The work was excellent. They had an hourly rate and then depending on the work we will have either one, two, or three guys at a time coming to get the job done. They did it in an efficient manner. It was about $25 an hour per person. We would use them again in the future.
