Chris was real nice and cheaper than most. We used a quality shingle, installed to manufacturer recommendations for a nice warranty. The workers did a great job cleaning up after the job, and the roof looks great! Would recommend to anyone.

He did a very good job. Explained what he was going to do in detail. Did all the roofing himself and had assistants for help. Attention to detail.

I had a small leak in bedroom of a home we just purchased. They examined the entire roof which was found to have been less than a expert installation. They caulked around gaps and damaged shingles from aggressive nail application. They took photos and explained everything in detail. Very honest and thorough.

The service was great! Honest, fair, and honestly the most detailed estimate we got. He was the only one that took pictures up on the roof to help me visualize what he was talking about. We had several nails that had popped up and were rusting. We also, had some issues around the chimney flashing that was previously not done correctly. Also, he was very affordable compared to what the other 3 quotes I had gotten.

It was a great experience and will definitely use their service in the future.

I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism shown by Chris and his team. They completed the work in two days like he said they would, removing the old roofing, repairing a hole in the roof that was caused by a tree limb and putting down new roofing material. Their price was very competitive, and they used high quality roofing materials. They did a great job cleaning up, even using a metal detector tool to insure that they picked up and removed any errant nails that may have fallen on the ground. Chris Mathews (the owner) gave me an estimate within 2 days of my original phone contact. I did not even need to be home when he inspected my roof and determined the cause of the leak. His crew were there within the week to complete the repair, and again, I did not need to be there while they did the work. Since their repairs, the roof has not leaked a drop, through some very severe wind and rain storms! I do not hesitate to recommend My Father's Roofing Co. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

I called Chris for an estimate and he arrived at the agreed time and date. He took measurements and discussed the work I wanted performed. He explained everything that would be done. I was shown material samples that would be used. I was also shown why the materials he recommended were better than what I had seen from other contractors that had also written estimates for me.I received more value at a lower price than any other contractor had provided.
We agreed on what I considered a very reasonable price. The price I was given was exactly what I paid. He uses his own crew and does not sub-contract out the work.
Work started on the agreed date. Chris and his crew were very professional. Everything was done on time and on budget. The work performed was superb. The crew cleaned up very well, I never saw a single piece of scrap or old material when they were finished. Chris made this a fantastic experience and I will call him back if I ever need repairs again.

I last used their service on my mom's house. I was actually not there at the time that it was done, I was at Ohio. There was some misunderstanding on my mother's part. So, she wasn't a happy camper. The owner of the company is very nice, very professional and seems to know what he was doing. I negotiated the deal. I have them come out and get the estimate and gave them the go ahead to do it but meanwhile I returned to Ohio and my mother was there when they actually did the job. She of course was not happy with it but the guy was very nice. He called me back and was very apologetic. He went out and did everything to make it right and he ended up knocking a $1,000 off the bill. He had gone way beyond what would have been normally expected to try to right the situation.

We scheduled the roof replacement about 3 months in advance, and the job started two days after the estimated start date (which is great considering the vagaries of winter wearther). Chris kept us well informed every step of the way, checking in at the end of every day with a progress report. The crew has obviously worked together for quite some time based on their camraderie and the speed with which they worked. They were like a well-oiled machine. Much to my surprise, they were done in just a bit over two days. Everyone was polite and courteous. They cleaned up their clutter at the end of every day, and ran a magnet over the yard to make sure they had gotten any stray nails. I couldn't be more pleased.

The guy was excellent. He come on time and he always made the right decisions. He came to supervise his workers every day. The workers were really nice and very polite. They cleaned up after themselves each and every day and there was no problem with the work at all after they finished. At first, I didn't want to have the skylights installed, he called me one day and said whether I do it or not, I am just letting you know that the skylights you like are on sale. I would use them again without a blink of an eye.

Using Angie's List we selected Chris who came out and gave us an estimate. We were very impressed with Chris's knowledge and professionalism. The people at the roofing supply company had high praise for Chris, his crew and his work ethics. Chris and his crew were very polite, conscientious and professional. When they left we had a new roof with a very clean yard and patio. We definitely recommend and would use again My Father's Roofing, Chris and his crew.

Overall experience was great! Chris kept us updated, got back with us when he said he would, we made several changes from the time we first got our bid to the time work was actually done, he was really good about that. Chris and his crew very polite and well mannered.

Our three neighbors had there roofs done before us, and we had their roofers to gave us estimates too. Chris beat all three of those estimates, and supplied us a list of last 10 people they installed roofs for.
We feel we got a better quality shingle, lower price and just as good if not better quality of work. Our roof looks great! It has a limited life time warranty, and is rated for 130 mile per hour winds.
As you can probably tell, we are really glad we went with Chris, it was a very good experience, and it always good to save money, especially when you don't have to sacriface quality.

It is not leaking now. A while ago they replaced a good section of my roof. I would use them again.
