It went very well. They were very friendly.

I was very impressed with the plumbing services of Happe & Sons. My hot water heater died on Saturday. They came on Monday to discuss the job of replacing the hot water heater and moving it's location by about 20 feet in my basement. The initial quote was much higher than expected so I called them to talk about ways to lower the cost. They sent a plumber out Tuesday to take another look and make his recommendations. Rodney was full of good ideas and pointed out some other things I will need to address in the future. They rushed the quote and got it to me that afternoon. It was much better so I went ahead and booked them on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Since I had been out of hot water for several days they agreed to prioritize my job and be there the next morning at 7am. Rodney and two other plumbers worked diligently for four hours. They were all very pleasant to work with and I am thrilled with the job they did. I will definitely call Happe for future plumbing needs.

I also had Happe quote finishing my basement. The estimate was sky high. I don't doubt they would do a great job but my budget is limited.

During the work, our insurance company had to pay for us to stay at a hotel for around 8-9 months. They took a long time, and they ended up costing our insurance company $109,000. They didn't do really good work. The electricians did wonderful work, the a/c unit work was okay. Some of the work was shabby. They put up paneling in our bathroom and it looked terrible. Some of the work they did was good, most of it was bad.

I'm terrible with names but the tech did a FANTASTIC job. He did everything I requested in the initial estimate. The work was neat and clean and he cleaned up all the mess. I had just bought the house and was there with him. It was raining that day and was the first time it had rained since I bought the house. As he was working, he noticed water dripping down the main drain pipe from the ceiling. He got on my roof, in the pouring rain, and fixed a leaking roof vent, even though I was concerned for his safety and told him I would call them to fix the problem when the weather cleared. (There was no lightning, just rain.) Absolutely amazing.

They were very professional. They did a good job at cleaning up. They didn't demand money now, it was upon completion. They prompt every day.

They said it would take 3-4 months to fix but it ended up taking 9 months for them to complete the work. They wouldn't show up to work until 10am and then would leave at 3pm. Our insurance contacted them and they ended up getting the work done a little more quickly. The work was fair but it took a really long time. We talked to them about not getting hardwood floors in our bathrooms and hall as a way to cut cost but it didn't end up making it any cheaper. The owner's son, Jeff, was also very rude to us.

They did a good job. We were very pleased with them. They did everything they said they would do. They came every single day to work. I would certainly recommend them.

They paid good attention to detail. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They were courteous and the people seemed to be pretty knowledgable about what they were doing.
