H A Lewis Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Inc

Regarding my HVAC split system that was installed in August 2012 by H. A. Lewis Heating and Air.  I contacted H.A. Lewis about a new Trane split system. The first unit they put in didn't work and it took them 4 days to put a new one in. Then the new one kept loosing charge due to a leak. When the tech came out, three times, he either had no leak tester or no freon. I have never heard of a tech that didn't come with freon. Rediculous. It was 90 degrees and I have serious breathing problems. It took 2 weeks for them to get it right. I was also told by the salesman that I would get a $500 rebate from the government. However, the salesman lied about the rebate because I found out later that you only get a rebate if you owe taxes. Since I don't owe any taxes I did not get a rebate.

The representative came out and was FANTASTIC at answering ALL questions. He was very informative and incredibly knowledgeable. He was very polite and professional. We did not choose HA Lewis because their price was more than we could afford. It was with deep regret that we had to utilize another companies services. If I had the extra $1,000 in my pocket, we would have purchased a Trane from HA Lewis. They are a very dependable and knowledgeable company to hire. I would recommend this company over any one in Evansville. Even the cost is at a reasonable price, we just couldn't afford the Trane band. Their fees and services were completely within reason, it was the unit that was too pricey.

They were here at 8 am like they said they would be, the service techs introduced themselves and told me exactly what they would be doing and immediately got started taking out my old units and replacing with my new ones. They were very professional and courteous. They were here till about 2:30 pm clean up and all. They explained how to use my new thermostat told me Ryan would be by later that day or tomorrow to perform a second system check they answered all of my questions thoroughly and they were all finished. Ryan came out the very next day checked the system and brought me pre-filled out vectren rebate forms along with addressed and stamped envelopes. They are good at what they do and they do what they say! I would recommend them to anyone any day!!!

They were very prompt. The overall experience was excellent. The price and quality were excellent. I would use H.A. Lewis Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, Inc. again.

THEY DID EVERYTHING TO KEEP US HAPPY INCLUDING COLD AIR IN ONE DAY. 2 DAYS, COMPLETELY DONE. THE WEEKEND PROMISED TO BRING 90 DEGREE TEMPS WITH HUMIDITY. THEY GOT THE COLD AIR AND COMPLETED THE ENTIRE JOB THE FOLLOWING DAY, AS PROMISED.!!!

They are prompt and do a pretty good job. We have had them do repairs in the past also. I am satisfied with the quality. The punctuality is usually good. They give you a time and are usually here. If there are going to be late they will call. When it is air conditioning season they get pretty busy.

I called H. A. Lewis on January the 5th 2012 because my furnace would continually try to light and would only work on two burners instead of all four .They scheduled me for 10:30 a.m.the next day.The service representative arrived at 10:40 a.m. and had the furnace diagnosed and repaired with in 15 minutes.He checked to make sure the furnace was working properly .All in all a good experience.

Estimator was exact in his pricing and explained in detail. Installers were on time when expected, efficient and very polite. It was a good experience overall.
