We are an experienced, honest company that prides itself in creating happy customers. We offer our cell phone numbers so that we are reachable 7 days/week if you have any concerns. We are a family-owned and operated business that has a long-standing name in the Tri-state, dating back to 1949. We have been around a long time, which gives you the security of knowing we will be there when you need us. We don’t rest on our reputation. We pro actively stay up to date through regular training on the most recent trends in the industry. We are fully licensed and insured, and employ only talented tradesman. As a Lennox Premiere Dealer, we are able to offer the most high-efficient and quietest systems on the market. You had a no heat. We responded immediately. We had a set price that We discussed with you before we did any of the work. You agreed to It and asked us to proceed. So we did just that. We realize you have a Home Buyers Warranty. We are very up front that we do not deal with Home Buyers Warranties. When the Home Buyers Warranty company requested you use their recommended company, you chose us, deciding to deal with the payment yourself. We agree that the amount you are paying to your warranty company is immense. This is one reason we are not fond of such companies. That said, in the future, if you are upset with pauing us directly, we definitely recommend using a company that your warranty company goes through. We also apologize that you feel we were rude to you. We hate that. We never want you, our valued customer, to feel mistreated. When speaking with your mother, however, we were very firm to tell her that the price is what It is, as this was the third or fourth phone call regarding this same situation. We do not compete with Amazon prices. We do not purchase our parts on Amazon. The product can in no way be guaranteed by us. We purchase from verified dealers and know and trust the products we use. We stand behind them. If you would like to purchase a part yourself, that is okay with us. But we cannot install It. When you pay for parts and service from us, you are paying for knowledgeable and trained professionals to deal with and work on your unit. "Hi there. I am sorry about your frustration. We try to do our very best with every one of our customers and we do not like to see anyone unhappy. That said, we were honest and up front about everything. What you ended up paying for was labor and materials including: a drier filter, freon (refrigerant) and braising materials. Your compressor was covered under warranty so this was not something that you paid for. This was a two-person job. Labor is not covered under warranty unless you purchase an extended warranty with your install. We do our best to help each customer receive the best life of their unit. That is why we strongly recommend our planned maintenance or, at least, for you to keep a steady maintenance if you choose to opt out of the program. We have not done any maintenance on your unit since its 2008 install. This is important, not only for keeping your warranties in tact, but it can save you money in the long run by allowing us to make sure everything is running efficiently. We do believe we did everything in our power to give you good service, but we still don't like to see you unhappy. Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with."

I had had my a/c 6 month checkup by Brackett on June 24 and they found no problems.
After he left, I called another A/C company for a second opinion. They only charge a fee to diagnose the problem. After checking thoroughly, the other technician determined the problem and fixed it. It was NOT the ECM motor. So while I saved $1300 for a new ECM, I am still out the $209 plus I prepaid $300 for the spring and fall checkups. They will not refund half of the money I paid in advance for the checkups. I don't want to use them again, but if I don't use them in the fall for the checkup, I'm out another $150.

Being that you agreed to the Planned Maintenance program, while it is a prepaid contractual agreement, we also agree to keep up our end to make sure you get your units properly cleaned and maintained with the highest of quality. One perk of being on that program is that if you ever need to order any parts, you receive 10% off those parts as well as get priority service with us.
