Auto Service
Everything went well. The only complaint I would have (and it is a very minor one) would be my wait time. It took longer than they said, but I understand things come up over which they have no control. Very pleased overall with price and service.

Auto Service
I have been a customer of this company since the early 1980's when they were located on Covert Avenue and DBA Southern Indiana Tire. Apparently, being a long-time, loyal customer doesn't mean much to them.
I made an appointment for the services stated for Mon., June 10 at 8:30am. I arrived at 8:05am and was told the tech had just arrived and it would be a few minutes. I had to wait for the servicing as I live alone and don't have another car.
They took the car back at 8:33am. At 9:40 I asked how much longer it would be as I had a hair appointment scheduled for 10am and needed to let my stylist know if I was going to be late. I was told that "everything" was done except the oil change and it should be about 20 minutes. I then called the beauty shop and told them that I would be about 15 minutes late. At 10:30, the car still hadn't been brought around and I had to call and reschedule my hair appointment.
At 10:50am, one of the employees came around to the waiting area and said "Are you still here?" I replied "Yeah. That 20 minutes' wait time has turned into an hour now and I had to reschedule my hair appointment. He went to check on what the problem was and another employee came out a few minutes later and said there was a mis-communication and that they were checking the A/C then.
I asked again at 11:15am how much longer it would be and that I had another appointment at noon that I HAD to be that. The first employee said if it wasn't done in time he would personally take me in the company van to my appointment.
While I was there, another lady was also left waiting on her car for over 2 hours. But there were SEVERAL men who came and went during the time that we both were waiting for our vehicles. I thought making an appointment took precedence over walk-ins for service, but apparently I'm wrong on that.
My car was finally brought around for me to pay for and drive at 11:35am. . . 3 1/2 hours after taking it in. That is totally unacceptable to me.
I've had issues with them on prior occasions in that one time, they left a shop rag lying on the engine and halfway down the highway on a road trip I started smelling something hot and when I pulled over into a rest area, I found the smoking shop towel. The next time I had an issue, I had taken the car in for a lube and oil/filter change and my son took the car on a short trip and when he got home he told me the oil light had come on. When we opened the hood, there was oil all over the inside of the hood and on the engine because they hadn't replaced the oil cap and didn't make it right when I told them that I had to buy another oil cap and replace the oil I had just paid them for when they did the servicing. The last time was when I bought a set of tires from them and the front right tire had a slow leak that I kept hounding them about every time I took it in for servicing. They kept insisting it was fixed, but it wasn't. Finally, when it wouldn't hold any air at all and I took it in, they told me it couldn't be fixed because it was a nail in the side of the tire. Really?? After 2 years of fighting with them over a tire that I felt like was defective from the start, they tell me that there's a nail in it and I have to buy another tire??
This incident today takes the cake. I will find another shop that actually cares about their customers and doesn't just keep trying to bamboozle them into accepting their work as being satisfactory.
