Benny's Flooring

The flooring and the baseboard look beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend Benny's because of the quality of their work. They were on time and worked efficiently. The installers are perfectionists and very nice.

I wanted luxury vinyl laminate that was not wood grain. They had great selection and were very helpful with measuring, ordering, and financing.

Went to the show room in Evansville and they helped us pick the right carpet to use for what we wanted. They did a great job installing and clean up.

It went very well. I was so impressed with this company. The price is so reasonable. They worked with me and they went above and beyond to get it done for us.

Nice, clean, hard working young men who stayed on purpose and despite the difficulty of working in a transitional area between an 1856 house and it's first of three additions which was done about 1900, they made it work and weren't adverse to a "sidewalk superintendent".  
I feel fortunate to have wonderful flooring guys, electrical technician, Apple tech support, plumbing, and sewer support professionals who never fail to impress me with their expertise and quality of work!
These folks make my life work.

Very smooth.

They were very good. We went there, we needed something in an emergency and they provided it for us. I needed something in 2 or 3 days and they took care of that very very well. The cost was good, the people were great and the installation guy was wonderful. They gave great service and really helped us out. We needed to get a vinyl flooring because my mother-in-law had become wheelchair bound and hospital bed bound and I wanted a certain kind of a pattern. He went to his warehouse to see what he had in stock, called me the next day, told me what he had, and then came in and installed it the day after. I would say exceptional service. The price was great. They didn't charge me extra or anything.

They are so professional and easy to work with.  We actually used the Newburgh location for all three of the areas.  We will always go with Benny's and Linda, who worked with us.

The sales team was great and the crew came out and performed the services quickly and did a great job. I would recommend and use them again.

They seemed to be very involved in the process all the way up to the top of the organization. Benny was out to our house three times to make sure we were happy with stuff. We had a few install problems and those were all smoothed over and fixed.

Vinyl tile turned out nicely.
Carpets showed seams.  Carpet actually bubbled up over a three to six foot area when my daughter lay down on it. 
Ceramic tile on floor turned out well.  On the tub, which has two curved steps up to tub, it had a noticeable wave, rather than a smooth curve. 
The toilet in one bath had a 1/4 inch gap at the bottom.
The ceiling below the master bath developed water spots soon after this work was done.  We had the entire house professionally painted, and this was most definitely a new problem.
In areas with counter the carpet had covered the base which was not stained to match the counter doors. This was to be done as part of the flooring, and wasn't.
Benny's response was to make excuses ( including:  The wood was bad under the toilet.  There was warping of the floor.  There was no base upon which to attach the tile.  He did the best he could with what there was to work with. that wood was already like that and we were not supposed to stain it.)  or claim that it was fine the way it was.  During the time work was being done, we were given absolutely no indication there were any problems.  It was only after we brought our concerns to their attention that we were told there were any issues.  we would have expected that if there were problems with structure that compromised a good result, that we would have been told immediately, rather than a mediocre job being done.   Benny claimed that the water spots were pre-existing and unrelated to the work done in the master bath.  We insisted on having the ceramic tile surrounding the tub re-done, which they accomplished with improved result, though the bullnose edging seems to have been installed improperly. 
We stained the baseboard ourselves.  The seams continue to shed, and are more visible than I would consider to be representative of quality work.

Do you know the old saying, "You get what you pay for?"  Well, that was
my experience with Benny's Flooring.  I wanted to install hardwood
flooring in my master bedroom to match that flooring in the living
room.  I called for an estimate from the company that installed the
living room flooring for the builder.  I thought their price was high,
so I got a second estimate from Benny's.  Since that price was lower, I
went with Benny's.  That was a huge mistake!  The installers did a
horrible job!  I have huge gaps between the boards.  The floor feels
awful to walk on with bare feet.  Between November 2011 and August 2012,
I called Benny's multiple times to get the flooring fixed.  They
refused.  Now I have spent thousands of dollars on flooring that I can
barely stand to look at.  If you want a reliable, quality, reputable
company that stands behind its work, Benny's is not it.

They had a fair price. It was a quick installation. They did high quality work.

For the kind of work that they do they did an outstanding job. I liked their promptness, friendliness and the courtesy of the work force. They cleaned up after themselves; I can't tell you anything bad and I am sometimes a very hard person to please. The owner did an excellent job in a timely manner. Their quality was excellent and the owner and his crew took our house and got it back in the date it should be. It is a good business.

We visited Christie at Benny's Flooring and Design Center and explained what we needed to accomplish as well our sensitive timeline due to furniture replacement and delivery schedules
Set-up a meeting at our Home to complete measurments and complete a work proposal
Christie spent additional time and great effort to show various carpeting and answer our questions regarding wood flooring and the possible replacement of our Kitchen and Dining Room wood floorplans
We took numerous samples and viewed with our current Home furnishings and color scheme.
Contacted Christie at Benny's Flooring and Design Center concerning various brands of carpeting, cost, value and overall performance. All of our questions were answered  and messages returned in a timely manner, but we would have appreciated a more expedited response given our circumstances
We placed the order, and we were notified promptly when materials were ready for installation and scheduling was completed. We were contacted the morning of installation, due to an EMERGENCY with the Installation Team. We notifed Benny's Flooring & Design Center of the needed timeline for installation due to the scheduled delivery of furniture the following afternoon. The situation was addressed and the installation was completed as agreed.
Overall a satisfactory experience and excellent value.

They (Christy Jones) helped with the selection of materials.  The installers showed up when promised, finished the job on time.  They were very courteous and thoughtful about taking care of our home. We are extremely pleased with the materials and workmanship.

Two of Benny's installers showed up on time with carpet and pad (wrong pad though), but a quick call to the store remedied this, and they quickly obtained the pad I had requested and swapped it out. Removal of the carpet went well and quick. Installation was done professionally. The installers used a power stretcher (preferred) instead of a knee kicker to stretch the carpet. The power stretcher allowed for a much tighter installation of the carpet. In addition, the since the house was a little cool the lead installer had me turn on the heat to allow for better stretching of the carpet (stretches better warm). Beautiful job, no tile or wall damage. Benny's has a very nice selection of carpet, tile, hardwoods and I would use him again in the future.

I located Benny's Carpet through Angie's List and decided to give them a try, at least I'd contact them. Once I learned that they had several good carpet candidates in stock (a rarity!) I was eager to visit them in person which I did the same day. I realize that most people have a little more time and might order and wait a couple of week or so for their preferred carpet. I, however, was most interested in Satisficing my needs for a second home. I was willing to be flexible with the attractive Shaw carpets that they carried in stock that had full 20 year warranty too and were priced, to me at least, amazingly reasonably so I went with one of them and am completely happy! Their installers were very professional and left us very happy campers. It's a great relief to find and work with reputable, trustworthy contractors who offer darn good service at a fair price and treat you well the entire time. I'm grateful I found them on Angie's List!

They gave us the samples and I decided on the one that I wanted. They came out and took the measurement of the rooms. They installed the carpets in one day. They moved the furniture for me. They have a nice showroom and they are really nice people. They are helpful; they gave me suggestions.
