We're Hamilton County Lawn and Landscaping LLC, and we've been landscaping here in Noblesville, IN, since 1993. Locally owned and operated, we believe in landscape design, installation, and maintenance, offering full-service mowing, lawn fertilizing, and weed treatments, planting, designing, and upkeep. It went incredible! Bill was so pleasant to deal with. He was very open and up front as to what to expect. His estimate beat all others in town and he actually completed under estimate. His employees were very particular about getting it done perfectly and quickly. I will definitely use him again!

I had several areas of sod that had died after the builder installed when our house was built. Bill came out and reviewed the areas and provided a quote. The work was more intensive as originally thought because the builder laid sod on top of concrete spoils, rocks, stone. This lead to an increase in the cost of work but it's understandable as this was unforeseen. Bill communicated updated throughout the process. They also repaired a section of the new sod they did the day before after my chemical guy damaged it when treated the areas for pests. Bill is also helping me find a new chemical guy after see the results to the rest of my lawn.

Bill came out and gave us a comprehensive quote on what we wanted done. They arrived on the scheduled day. The work was done beautifully and with care. We put in sod and the installation was beautiful with edged and rounded corners. The mulch installation was done perfectly, and we also had stone put in places instead of mulch. It was a 3 day project and I am thrilled with the work and professionalism. We highly recommend them.

Had my backyard graded and sodded. It went very well and they were very professional. Bill came back after the install to see how the sod was doing. Additionally, he came back to see an area that the builder of the house next to me messed up. I appreciate the fact that Bill took time out of his day to look at something that he didn't cause. Would hire again!

Very well! Bill and I went over each item to be completed prior to the date of the work and then he and his crew went over them with me again when they came to do the work. It was a 2-day job that just finished up this past Monday, August 17th. The landscape beds in particular had been long neglected, so the change is dramatic and much appreciated. Bill and his crew were easy to work with and happy to answer any questions I had. My neighbor was so impressed that he asked for Bill’s number, which I was happy to provide!

The owner called and texted me ahead of time, letting me know the work had to be delayed for a day due to rain, which was understandable. The next day, the crews delivered and installed the mulch, and cleaned up afterwards. Overall, I am satisfied with their service.

Bill texted me and said they would be out this morning to do the work. They showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job spreading the mulch and cleaning up afterwards, I would definitely hire them again!

I was contacted by Bill within 24 hours of my request and we discussed what needed to be done. We agreed upon a price and the work was to be done the following week. Bill called the day before to let me know when they would be coming over. They did both jobs on the same day with excellent results. The yards have not looked this good in years.

Update report 9.19.2019: The company came out and finish my project to my satisfaction. Previous report 09.03.2019: Not well. The crew arrived and were supposed to put down 4-5 pails of Preen prior to mulching. The crew only used 1 1/2 pail for 10 yards of beds to be mulched. The crew didn't have quite enough mulch but spread it thin to make it cover. When I took pictures and sent to Bill stating there were areas missed, he sent someone out with a bucket and threw on a little more mulch to try and hide what was missed. Not one plant had it's leaves lifted to place the mulch. It was obvious the crew was in a hurry to be done. I also contracted for metal edging to hold the mulch from washing out. The metal edging was installed just to the middle of one of the beds and not at a natural stopping point. When I called Bill he said that the metal edging was durable but hard to work with and so they had stopped at the end of a length of edging. I said I wanted to extend it to a more visually acceptable point. Bill agreed if I would pay for the metal edging. I agreed. He has been called twice and has never come out to complete the work. It was an expensive service that was not performed satisfactorily. I would not recommend or use them again.

I have had a horrible weed problem for as long as I’ve owned my home, and Bill and his crew took care of it in an afternoon! They removed all the weeds and cleaned up the beds, and the installed barrier paper and gravel mulch. It looks great! Service was prompt and they removed the old landscaping rock. I would highly recommend!

Bill and his crew were able to get to our house within a couple of days after we agreed to have them do our landscaping. The workers were very kind and considerate and the job was done according to plan. Bill gave us instructions on how and when to water all of the plants and it's been a week since the job was completed and everything looks great !! The crew was very good about removing debris and leaving the property in immaculate condition. I would recommend them for any landscaping project, no matter how big or how small.

We had a 4 stone high retaining wall and 3 brick high flower bed trim installed around our house. Bill was out at my next availability to scope out the project and had an estimate in like a day. The next day he dropped off stone samples for my husband and I to look at when we got home from work. I picked the color I wanted but did not want that size for the flower beds around the house (too big). Bill took me to Curley Brothers Brick and Masonry and when I couldn't find the size I wanted, we talked with someone there and he knew just what I wanted. The work was then completed in about 4 days. Bill's mantra was, "It has to look like it's always been there." They were very careful to make sure the corners were perfectly square and every brick blended all the way around the house. We really like the way the flower bed bricks do a zig zag next to where they put in a little entry way by the fence gate (had to do zig zag or else the gate wouldn't open). They took out the black drainage piping at the end of our downspouts and buried piping with a green cap a few feet from the wall and flower bed on both sides of the house (huge improvement I didn't even know existed)). They took the dirt that was dug out and used it to level an area in the back yard where we're having him put in a patio in the fall. They then planted grass and that was it! It looks great. The price never varied from the estimate. We are very happy.

Excellently! The owner contacted us immediately upon our inquiry. He understood all of our needs. His crew were extremely attentive and efficient. The end result was exactly what we wanted. I reached out to this company through Angie's List and they did a great job. Cleaned out my mulch beds, edged them, tore out the old black mulch and put in new brown mulch. Took them about 2 hours to do what it would have taken me 8+

I waited 12 days for Bill to come and mow my grass. He said that it was too rainy and that it would make ruts. I called again a few days later and he kept putting me off. I finally fired him

Both times you called were after multiple days of rain. We were not avoiding providing your service but were wanting to protect the integrity of your lawn. A 600 pound mower could and would make ruts in your lawn. We actually DID mow it the day after you called last week. Had I truly believed this would have been an actual silly response- I actually would have dropped you as a client because we take pride in our work and clumped grass and tire marks are not how we want to present a service. It can cause significant damage to soft lawns. We will be happy to send a bill for the times mowed and will also send a reminder for the outstanding payment from Several snow plowing events in the winter - which is over $500. I was actually going to call you about this, too. I wanted to maintain a great working relationship as we have had for the past several years. My company could have just agreed to mow without care of the condition we left your lawn (many other companies do that) but had we damaged your lawn, you would have called to complain then, too. And probably left a negative review here. Either way you still would not be happy. Writing a negative review because your lawn care company cares about the integrity and aesthetic of your lawn?
