My husband is very frustrated and I'm not happy but would have continued to assess over the 6m initially planned. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we'll stick with Smithville.  We're going to have to talk to Comcast again and see what they can offer and if the price will be similar to what we had before.....move back.  I would love to support a local provider but the services aren't as good, and they cost more!  n't like the "bate/switch" approach that Comcast is known for but in some ways we've got the same problem regarding cost w/more complicated capability and limited info.  
We're going to comparative shop between the 2 services as I don't want to go thru assessing yet another new telecom provider.

We just get a monthly bill. Its the only local business that has all these services for us. I've had no contact with them for maintenance or anything like that.

GROSSLY overpriced and slow. No other options besides Satellite in my area and they know it, so they charge whatever they want.

They were prompt and thorough--we had a small technical glitch and both time I called their offices I spoke right away directly to peolpe and technical support who resolved the issues right away.

It is the only telecommunication company that comes out this far. It is a rural telecom company that you do not have choices. It takes up about two or three counties but it's in the rural area. They do not have high speed internet. They respond very well.
