Scheduler was very rude. We confirmed move with her three times before date. Finally she told us movers had to go and rent
a truck and would be late. Didn't find this information out until I called corporate office who then got hold of the scheduler. The two movers did their job just fine. We asked for the local franchise owner to please call us but he never called. We will never use this
service again.
I was at the business location and was called by the person I bought the showcases from that the movers had just left her location which is 7 minutes from my location. After waiting almost 25 minutes the movers arrived and told me that they had broken one of the showcases. They said they would have the glass replaced and bring it to my business location the next day and that I would hear from someone in the office also the next day. I didn't hear anything by late afternoon the next day so I called and was transferred to someone who knew about the repair. He told me that it would be 1-1 1/2 weeks before my showcase would be ready. Prior to the move I had packed the merchandise that was in my previous showcase and returned the borrowed showcase that I was using. The merchandise would not fit in the 1 new showcase because it was half as large as the borrowed one. So for 9 days I lost revenue because I had no showcase to display it in. When I talked to the person about the repair on the day after the move, I asked for a refund because of the lost revenue due to the broken showcase. He said he didn't have the authority and would have the owner contact me. The owner didn't contact me but I received a customer satisfaction email from the corporate headquarters a few days later. I wrote to corporate customer service and explained my situation. She said she would have the owner contact me. The showcase was delivered 9 days after the move and the person who called me to make arrangements also told me he would have the owner call me. Not only was I charged an extra 15 minutes for the move which was only 7 minutes down the road, but they broke my showcase and took 9 days to have it repaired and the owner never did call me. I would NEVER recommend 2 Men and a Truck to anyone. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen and the owner doesn't care enough about his business to return calls or at the very least delegate some authority.
