The Granite Shop

We went here to pick out granite surfaces for a new walk-in shower in the master BR...bench tops, soap shelf tops, window sill and curb sill. Everything went fine at the store. Things fell apart after that. Deadlines weren't met...repeatedly, deadlines they set. Expectations they set went unmet. Communication was poor. If something is wrong just tell me. I can deal with that. Fortunately our contractor did the work of communicating with them and making things happen...finally! Probably a good thing it wasn't me.Don't keep telling me what you think I want to hear and completely destroy your credibility with lousy performance. In the end, we got the project done and are fairly certain about what happened. Not going to share that because I am not completely sure. However, we are absolutely certain that we'll never do business with this company again. We would encourage you to look elsewhere. This product is expensive. Choose wisely. There are plenty of options out there.

The project went extremely well. They paid particular attention to the detail. They worked closely with landscape contractor to coordinate the timing.

The first bathroom went well! Second one - the one worker was not professional. The Granite Shop made up for the problem. The third bathroom the holes was not drilled correctly and one sink could not be installed until they came out a second time to change holes and then both sinks could be installed correctly. They over all did a great job - just a few hick-ups!

The experience was good. The job they did made it a good experience. The completed the job in the time they told us. They cleaned up after themselves. They were reasonably priced. We picked out the granite. They go it from their provider with no problems.

The job went well - it was finished within the stated time frame and the work is quality. The team was professional and we love the results of beautiful granite counter tops and updated fixtures.

It went superbly! My wife and I went in to get quartz countertops due to the maintenance of granite. However, Tabitha patiently explained their process of sealing the granite for durability, and took us through each of our options in a very logical and detailed way. I was sincerely impressed with her impartiality, and would recommend talking to her about the benefits of each surface. We then were able to pick out our slabs of interest, get estimates and pick out our exact slabs in a matter of three days. The installation was scheduled, and we had new counters in the span of ten days. Points worth mentioning:
1. They invited us in to choose the layout of the slab with the actual person who would be cutting it. This was an impressive step to insure that we liked what we had chosen, but also gave the cutter the opportunity to advise us on the best layouts for hiding the seams.
2. Installation day was quick. The gentlemen that installed the stone were exceedingly polite, and almost as excited as we were to see the transformation (Which is breathtaking.) They were also in and out of our mid-size kitchen in a little over three hours.
3. Tabitha was extremely quick and concise in her follow up. This was a breath of fresh air, and the only shop to do so in our remodel. Usually, I ended up chasing contractor-Not in this case. Very impressive.
4. Lauren gives exceptional design advice. She helped up pick the backsplash tile work-We would have never come up with something so lovely on our own.
5. The tile guys were kind, amazingly thorough, and CLEAN.
In short, this was the BEST experience in remodel that we've ever had. Horror stories on other contractors, but I almost wish there was more that we needed from them, as their service was truly exceptional. I would recommend them highly, and have already done so to my neighbors.

The Granite Shop has reasonable prices. They had a lot of selections. There wasn't anything specific that stood out for me with them. That was the first place we stopped and the first place we bought anything.

The salesperson from the Granite Shop first came out to look at what I wanted completed in my kitchen. She made suggestions. Then I went to their showroom and selected the pattern. After that a date was selected, the fabricator came out and did his job. After that the installer came and removed the old counter and prepared the counter for the new top. Once the counter was completed, the tile expert was in to do the backsplash.

Everything was fine. They had exactly what they wanted as far as color is concerned. They gave me an estimate and it was right around the estimate that Lowe's gave me. They had the color we wanted, so we went with the Granite Shop.
