NATIONAL TRANSMISSION SVC

For a few months, my car was having a hard time going into reverse-  I would put it in reverse, and it would hesitate before actually moving.  Did I take it in to get fixed right away? Of course not. Finally last Saturday I could barely back it out of the garage. After a few tries, I got it out of the garage and immediately parked it, afraid to drive it anywhere. And of course, wishing I had taken care of it sooner.
 We scheduled an appointment with National Transmission and they got us in right away. They told us up front that if they could repair it, it would probably be about 950.00   and if they had to totally rebuild it , it  could be twice that much. After assessing the problem, they found  it was a fluke  situation which  had caused the problem- and they were able to  do an extensive repair rather than rebuild.   (Thank-You!) They also put in a new shift  kit while they were at it to prevent future problems in that area.  I appreciate the fact they went the extra mile  to do that.  We have gone to them for years and have always found them very honest, doing the right thing in the right way.  And my car is driving like new now!
