Excellent! They were present every day, worked all day. Very efficient, considerate, pleasant and knowledgeable. Very conscientious. Cleaned as they went with very little dust left after any chore. Will recommend them highly and will hire them again!

If you're looking for a contractor that stands behind the quality of their work you might want to rethink hiring Dreamscapes Home Improvements. Dreamscapes charged me $800 for a new chimney flashing when they installed my new roof in August of 2015. In October of 2018, the first time I had been in my attic since the installation of my new roof, I noticed that the roof had been leaking for some time on the north side of my chimney as the plywood was heavily stained in the area of the leak. I believe a new roof should remain leak free for longer than 3 years so I called Joel at Dreamscapes. He came out and made a cursory inspection of the chimney, but didn't find an obvious cause of leak. He said he would come back the following Friday with his son to do a more extensive search for the cause of the leak and make a correction to a section of the flashing was that was sagging in the center. Like I said that was in October of 2018, this is August of 2019. I haven't heard from anyone at Dreamscapes since that day and they haven't responded to any of my communications. I believe that I have since found the cause of the leak myself. Things seem to be staying dry at least for now. The problem I found I was where the mason that had previously rebuilt my chimney left a dime sized void that should have been filled with mortar allowing rain to get behind the bricks. I would have been willing to pay Dreamscapes for finding and making that repair since it had nothing to do with the work they had done, but they completely blew me off. The point I'm trying to make is; if you're looking for a contractor who will stand behind his work and make a warrantee repair for you when things go wrong, this isn't the guy you want.

Master bath was competed on time and within budget. Workmanship excellent, especially the tilework on the floor and walls. Roof was completed on time with no problems and a very competitive price.

Dreamscapes Home improvement does a great job. Joel and his son Joe are a two man crew that do a great job. Very professional and very nice people. They did a great job remodelling my kitchen and dining room. Job too only a few days longer than told but that is no big deal. Very reasonable rates. Had them out another project. They put planked vinyl in my hallway and it looks great. I will call them again for my next project.

I am adding an update to an earlier evaluation. There were some items that were not performed on our contract but that when they were discovered that the company did respond and make necessary updates.

Only needed 1 sheet of decking, so estimate was revised to reflect less decking material used. Work performed in an extremely timely manner. Was treated very respectfully and the job was completed to my satisfaction. would definitely use again.

Joel and his son were on time and performed the work in a timely manner. They cleaned up every evening and made the remodel easy to live in. They communicated with us on every decision and were excellent about making sure they were happy with what they were doing. Joel did a beautiful custom window for us which is the highlight of the bathroom. So happy with the whole process. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or hire again.

We are very pleased with the quality of work, professionalism, and price. Joel was very good at communicating any issues that arose and worked with us on how to best resolve them. Prior to the job, he met with us to give a free quote and presented pictures of projects he had done in the past. Joel and his employees are very dependable and trustworthy. They communicated every day before they left so we knew the status of our project. We will definitely be calling him for future projects and we highly recommend others do too!

Were installed on time. But have had problems ever since. Issue is still unresolved and he does not even return emails and telephone calls.

Joel runs a great company. I was referred to him for a roof replacement, as the roof on my home was 20 years old and showed severe signs of wear. My roof had a very steep pitch and was a hard roof to replace the shingles on. Joel took the time to explain to me every detail of what was going to go on with the job and how committed he was to getting it done right. In fact, there was even a time when we had an unexpected downpour of rain during the repair and a little water leaked through. He offered to paint the entire ceiling just to make sure I was happy. Even through the process there were times when I had questions - all I would have to do is give Joel a call or text and he was quick to respond. You can tell DreamScape is the type of company that not only stands behind their work, but makes sure you are 100% satisfied and happy with the result. You get what you pay for, and his results were above my expectations and the best I've seen from a home improvement company.

Joel and his team did a great job. We have a one story ranch and they were in and out in a day and a half. Very thorough in making sure everything is done properly to ensure no future leaks. They also did a great job with cleanup around the house after they were done. I really appreciated how Joel went over everything they would do before the work started so there would be no surprises at the end.

It went wonderfully.  Joel has his teams well timed.  They work hard and get the job done well and quickly.  The first team came in and did the bulk of tearing off of the old roof and getting the largest part of the new one on in one day.  Finishing crews came in the next two days and had it done and the yard well raked.  I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently it all went and how nice they left the site.  I would definitely use Dreamscape again.

First met Joel over a year ago when we needed a new roof because of hail damage.  A different contractor  had found the hail damage and gotten us approved for a new roof working with our insurance company.  I requested bids from two additional companies.  Joel responded quickly and provided a quote that gave us a few different options and price points.  Joel's  pricing  was very competitive, but we decided to go with the original contractor who had gotten us approved for the new roof.  Well we had all kinds of delays getting the roof last fall.  Contractor blamed it on the insurance company not paying enough upfront money, even though they accepted the job knowing the terms.  They had our down payment and always had an excuse why they were not on the roof.  Finally after chasing them down every few days they started the job this April.  Day one they started the job knowing that the forecast was for heavy rains the next day.  The two owners of the company were never at the job site and never followed through on any of their promises.  At the end of the first day most of the roof was stripped with the roofing felt installed.  They did not tarp the roof even though it was 100% chance of rain the next day,  They stated that they would be back in the morning.....Next day here comes the rain they are nowhere to be found and we have water coming through our ceilings all over the house.  In the end major water damage to our house more rain in the forecast and still no roof...... I decided to call Joel at  DreamScape Home Improvement again and see if he could help us out.  He came right out gave us an estimate that took into account that most of the house the roof was stripped off.  Offered to move his schedule around to help us with our problem.  This time we went with Joel and he did everything he said he would do and more.  He upgraded our shingles and suggested different colors for our roof.  In the end our roof looks great.   The  DreamScape Home Improvement crew were very professional, polite and did quality work.  They cleaned up the job site every day and took pride in their work.   While other companies gave us much higher bids knowing we were in a jam (50% higher), Joel did not.  He has since worked with us in getting additional estimates to fix our ceilings and attic area.  I recommend Joel and his company DreamScape Home Improvement without hesitation.  He did everything and more that he promised to do.  Nice to find someone that cared enough to help us out instead of trying to take advantage of our situation.  I rate Joel A+++++++++++++.

It went great. They were very easy to work with. Showed up when they said they would and came back a few days later to make sure the leaks were stopped.

Just an estimate, so far.

But it was several pages, with several possible levels of work....exactly what I was looking for.  This guy listens to his clients.  (And I'm not even a client yet....)

'I used Dreamscape Home Remodeling due to the fine grades given by prior reviews.  I placed a call to Dreamscape and left a message.  A call was returned that day and I talked to the owner Joel.  We arranged a time for Joel to stop by and review the work to be done.  At this time I was only interested in the half bath but was advised that they also did chimney work.  I was given a verbal estimate.  I told Joel that I would call him back if we wanted him to do the work.   My wife & I talked about how we liked Joel's approach, and we called him & let him know that we wanted him to do the work.  He dropped by a couple of days later with a written estimate, which we signed.

The one hang up was the time frame since he had a few jobs on schedule.  He said it might take several months.  Since we were not in a real big hurry that was fine.  When the time came to start Joel showed up with his son, Joel Jr. and 2 other workers.  The half bath was going to be Jr.'s job.  Joel and another worker, who would work on the chimney, left and Jr. and his aid worked on tearing out all of the bath contents.  This lasted 2 days.  On the following Monday, work was started on the chimney tear down and refinishing the half bath.  Both jobs were completed on Friday.  The chimney took 5 days and the half bath parts of 7 days.  The workers would show up punctually every day and stayed with the jobs until completed.  This is what Joel had promised that they would do from start to finish.  We now have a beautiful half bath and a new chimney which has a solid four inch concrete crown, which hangs over the brick protecting the brick. 

We told Joel that we might use him for a new roof next year and eventually a master bath remodeling. We are completely satisfied with the work performed and would recommend him to others.
