NAMCO DRAPERIES & INSTALLATION

Unfortunately for my time invested, my order was apparently too small for anyone to care about. After a designer came to my home to look at my situation and give me suggestions, I went to the store to see the fabrics she had chosen. I selected fabric for one project and asked for further suggestions for the other. I had asked that the first project be done before the holidays. It was small; there was time. A follow-up call said that the draperies could not be done as the designer and I had agreed on. For installation reasons (I think) they had to be done another way. I wasn't thrilled, but said OK. That was essentially the last time I heard from them. I made numerous calls and stopped in numerous times (the in-store help was OK). I was told someone had been ill (understandable, but call me) and that the owner was in Europe and would call when he returned (he never did). Out of frustration, I finally and politely suggested that the store owner and employees read Marshall Field's book Give the Lady What She Wants to learn how to treat customers and become a wonderful store. Sadly, what I got from this store was the message: Don't come in if your order is too small.
