They did an excellent job, I was really satisfied with their work. We got several estimates but we decided to go with Rowe Paving.

The crew & the owner did a good job i was well pleased they new what they were doing.

Mike Rowe showed up at the agreed-to time for the estimate. The existing drive was pitched toward the garage, causing rainwater to puddle up outside the garage doors. Mike explained how he could pitch it away and get the water to run down the driveway to the street. Estimate accepted. The crew arrived at the agreed-to time & spent 1 day breaking up and hauling off the existing drive. The next day was spent laying down and rolling out the asphalt. The crew (with Mike much of the time) worked steadily and completed the job. Very pleased with the results.

I was attracted to Mike Rowe because he is a veteran and so am I. He came almost immediately to give me a quote (I got 3 others) and one never came to provide a quote at all. I hired him and I'm very glad that I did. He did a marvelous job on my driveway. The job included grading the gravel drive, trimming at the sidewalk and 2 inches of asphalt binder plus 1 1/2 inches of Asphalt Top. He charged $5400. I later asked for him to add a new culvert at the end of the drive, replacing one which was plugged up and always caused flooding in my yard. For that, the charge was an additional $500. I definitely recommend Mike and I would hire him again.

Mike and his team exceeded our expectations. We had looked at some driveways installed by others and they did not look nearly as nice as the job Rowe Paving did. Their price was very competitive to other bids we received. We even asked for a modification after an agreed price and Mike was willing to do it at the same price. I would heartily recommend Mike Rowe to others looking for a quality paving job.

It was the lowest bid that we received. Everything about it was great. I'm very pleased with the work done, everyone we worked with was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Rowe Paving's bid was comparable to other bids we received for this job. My husband liked Mike when they spoke on the telephone, so we awarded the job to him. Several months elapsed between the time the bid was prepared until the time we actually awarded the job, but Mike didn't ask to amend his bid at all; he just said he'd put us on the schedule.
Mike called a few days before they were going to do the work to give us notice. The day of service, Mike and his crew arrived at 8am and got to work immediately. His crew was professional and courteous, and took the time to answer my 4-year old son's questions. :) They finished the work in about 6.5 hours. 
I never felt any attempt at an up-sell. Time will tell how the driveway holds up, but as for now, I'm more than satisfied with Rowe Paving.

I can't say enough about this company. Mike Rowe is so responsive and helpful. He has worked to solve a problem in a professional and timely manner.
Last year our Rowe Asphalt Paving replaced our entire drive, also a very positive experience. We had an issue with water pooling by the garage and they removed a cement apron that had settled there and worked on the slope of the drive to move water away from the garage. Fast forward, not all was well. Called Mike Rowe and left a message saying that water was coming into the garage. He came right out and tried one solution. We were not pleased with the solution and water was still pooling. Called and left a second message. He responded immediately and implemented solution number two. Two is our lucky number so far.
It is so great to work with a person who responds to the first call, makes sure his work is well done, and is so pleasant.  

I have never contracted anyone to lay a new asphalt driveway before, and so was a bit concerned about how things might turn out. But Mike Rowe was prompt and highly organized, and worked around a change of date with no problem at all. The job was done as scheduled, and the finished product was terrific - I could not have hoped for a better result, and the price was about what I expected from the evidence of other reviews on Angie's List. I have no reservations in recommending Rowe Asphalt, and they will be my Go-To guys if I need work like this done again (I flip homes in my spare time).

After 70 years of wear and tear and several layers of asphalt it was time to start over. I called four "A graded" companies from Angie's list for estimates and ideas of what I needed to do. Rowe Paving ( an long term owner /operated business) was the lowest cost estimate with the most logical plan. They completely removed the old asphalt ,removed areas of unexpected soft clay soil , laid down and compacted new gravel  and enlarged the driveway in a few areas. It took three days of very hard work. Mike Rowe and his crew were professional and accommodating and worked well as a team. They did a quality job and even  removed and replaced areas of asphalt from the previous day when they noticed quality issues with the underlying soil. This was done on their own initiative.They clearly wanted the job to reflect the fact that they do quality work. I would recommend them to anyone and have already done so.

We are so pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism. Very pleasant and hard-working. Will definitely use them for the next sealing.

They came out when promised and worked hard until the job was completed. The owner worked along with his crew. The only negative thing I have to say about the company is that I had trouble with Mike (the owner) returning my phone calls. In fact I have a call into him now abouta concern I have and he has not returned my calls.

Mike was very responsive to my inquiry, provided a quote within a very reasonable amount of time. Took the time to explain what work would be done.

Everything went well, and I was very pleased.  Communicating with him was quick and easy, he showed on schedule, and the driveway turned out great.  I actually plan on using his services again.
