We were looking to buy Tarkett luxury vinyl flooring for a very small area -- with the intent that it was a "trial" to see if we like it well enough to purchase it for a large area of our house.  We live in Greenwood and priced the flooring at a Greenwood flooring retailer.  Because a friend had recently dealt with R&R, I drove all the way to Danville (a 45" drive 1 way) to compare prices.

Jeff, one of the owners, was there the day I drove to Danville and was extremely patient and helpful.  He gave us an excellent price on the flooring itself (even though it was a very small area).  I ordered the flooring with no mention of transition pieces (which I didn't think of either).  I didn't want to drive back to Danville to pick up one box of flooring, so I paid a $30 delivery fee.  Note:  Even though the flooring was more expensive at the Greenwood retailer, I could have saved money by purchasing from them because I could have picked it up and saved the delivery fee.  However, since Jeff was so helpful, I wanted to give him the business (with hopes we would give him additional business in early 2015).

When I got home, my husband asked if I ordered a transition piece (we only needed one).  I told him neither of us thought about it.  So, he called the next day and asked for Jeff.  Instead, Wayne called him back.  My husband was specific about the transition piece we needed -- didn't know what it was necessarily called -- but was specific that it needed to go from a higher level to a lower level floor (we have since learned it is called a "reducer:). 

The order was delivered -- very late one evening.  When my husband looked at the transition piece a couple of days later, he found it was the wrong piece (and it alone cost about $45).  We called another flooring company -- and learned what we needed was called a "reducer"  and Wayne sold us "T" piece,  (Again, my husband was specific about what we needed.)

I sent two emails -- to Jeff -- about the wrong transition piece.  After no response to either, I called -- not able to talk with Jeff.  Finally, I then got an email back from him.  (Bear in mind that we paid a $30 delivery fee.)  He stated they would not refund our $$ -- even though it was their mistake -- until we returned the piece, and they would NOT pick up the piece.  I don't understand why they couldn't have picked it up on their next trip to Greenwood.  (If we went to Danville occasionally, I would gladly return it, but we RARELY go that direction, and it's about 45" from our house.) 

My complaint with this company is their poor customer service.  Several times we called twice -- before anyone would call us back.  We always asked for Jeff, but it was "Wayne" who called us back (and he was a bit "smart" at times with both of us, even though we maintained professionalism).  The last communication over the reducer piece took three communications to get a response.  (I even had to call twice the FIRST time -- before we ever ordered anything.)  They may have good prices on products.  However, we are willing to pay for good customer service.  We're glad that we didn't spend $4,000 with them and will gladly take our business elsewhere.  I would not recommend this company to anyone, based on their lack of customer service!

Their work is superb and I call them back whenever I am in the market for their product. They do an excellent job and they are very professional. Their customer service is great.

Reese came and made the estimate, he came at the agreed on time and did a thorough job. We did not make the decision to do the work immediately, so it was approximately 8 months later when we contacted Wayne at the office to see if the bid was still valid.  They were able to do it for the original bid price.  They requested half down and as soon as it was paid, the product was ordered.  A day was set for installation,but flooring has to adjust for house environment, so it was brought by a few days before the work was to be done.  When Wayne delivered it he discovered that the molding did not match correctly, so he took it back to get the right match.  The day of the install, Rob and Chaz came right on time.  They are both very knowledgeable and work quickly.  They were very careful to get a good match and have the lines look good.  I appreciated that.  They got the job done in just a few hours and it looks great.  They totally cleaned up any debris and there was little dust in the house, since they did the cutting outside.  I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

The staff was so helpful in helping us make a choice that was right for our needs. The flooring came in right on time and was delivered as promised.
The installers did a superb job. We will return in the future for kitchen flooring.

It went very well. They were on time and polite. It was originally scheduled to be a day and a half, they got it done in 1 day. They even followed up with us the next week to make sure we were satisfied.

I am very pleased overall with the quality and the expertise of this company. They were very knowledgle and helpful with any issues. Punctuality was a slight concern because the guys were late a few times and were pulled off to do other jobs, but as a whole we were satisfied with the job and will be using them again in the future.

We went to look for hard wood floors and ended up getting carpet instead. He suggest different styles and told us about the good and bad. Then Jeff came and took measurments was very professial. Then we set the date for them to lay the carpet.

Our experience at R & R products was a positive one from beginning to end. Employees at the store were very helpful when we were making our selection. When Reese came to measure and give us an estimate for our backsplash he was very knowledgeable and showed us the different ways the pattern we had chosen could be applied. Our installer, Kerri, was friendly and personable and did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the way our backsplash looks.

Ron came out to measure the rooms and discussed the quality level of product that we should install to get adequate wear.  We traveled to their store in Danville to look at samples which matched the quality levels that Ron had suggested.  When we got to the store, they could not find the recommendations from Ron, so we had to return a second time to look at samples.  We finally decided on the vinyl and carpet and placed our order.  Ron had suggested that it would take 3 days to complete all the work and we were given an installation date.  About a week before the scheduled installation, R&R called and said that they could install a few days early if we agreed, which we did.  A large crew showed up on time and completed the vinyl installation in half a day.  The installation went very smoothly and the crew cleaned up all remanents.  Two days later one man showed up to install the carpet.  His work was efficient and thorough.  He too did an excellent job and cleaned up. 

Their sales personnel were knowledgeable, informed and personable. They provided excellent guidance and support as we dealt with the complexities of making multiple color and material selections. Their installers were highly professional and their finished work throughout the home has withstood the test of time. We are very pleased with the carpet installation and the money we saved by returning to R & R Products. We would highly recommend R & R Products to Angie's List consumers for their flooring needs.

On the recommendation of our realtor, we selected R&R Products to provide new carpet and hardwood flooring for our 3,200 square foot home. We met with the owner's son Jeff during our initial visit. We made selections and arranged to have measurements taken three days later. We had a tight timeframe to work with and were reassured that R&R could accommodate our needs. When we left the showroom, Jeff remarked that the company was trying to become a provider on Angie's List and that the owner called customers to discuss their experiences with the company to guarantee they were happy before submitting a report. R&R Products did not meet our expectations and ranks as the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered. The lack of communication regarding installation delays and the installers complete disregard to the condition and care of our new home is unacceptable. The home was purchased as a vacation home and was vacant when the flooring work began. There was some confusion between Jeff and the installation manager and there was a delay with the commencement of installation. However, the job was scheduled for completion by May 30. We arrived at our home on May 30 to discover the home completely unlocked. The garage door was open, door to home was unlocked, sun porch door was unlocked, as well as door to home from sun porch. Further, the air conditioning had been turned down to 62? by installers and left at this low temperature for four hot days while no one was there. Tools were left out everywhere, carpet had been ripped up, and tack strips left down with no carpet on them. We had small children with us and were very upset of the condition of the home and that the job was not completed on time as promised. Most importantly, no one called from R&R to inform us the job was delayed and incomplete. We called and were given a new installation date and assured that the installers would lock the home and leave it in better condition. When we arrived a week later to accept delivery of our new furniture, we found the home unlocked again and were shocked that the job was still incomplete, again with no phone call for update as to status. The carpet had been installed but not vacuumed and carpet fibers were all over. The hardwoods were half complete with tools left out. Again, no one called from R&R to alert us that the job would not be complete as promised. We returned to the home several days later to move our personal items into the house. We spent twelve hours cleaning the home in anticipation of entertaining out of town visitors the following week. When we arrived the following weekend to prepare for our out of town guests, we were shocked at what we discovered. Again, no one from R&R contacted us to inform us of the delay. It was clear that hardwood floor products were cut in our home versus outside as we had instructed. Tools were again left out and electric tools were left plugged in, which is a concern with small children in the home. Dust was all over our new flat panel television, on new furniture, kitchen counters, appliances, shelves, and all over food in kitchen pantry. We would not have moved our personal items in and had brand new furniture and electronics delivered, or dedicated an entire weekend to cleaning the home had we known the mess that the installers would have left. Finding the condition of the home unsafe and unclean, we had to cancel our weekend plans with our out of town guests and leave the home. In short, we found R&R Products complete lack of professionalism and customer service to be unacceptable. Assurances were broken and important dates were significantly missed without as much as a courtesy call from R&R with a status update. Further, we expected to find less mess and at a very minimum, a thorough vacuum of carpets when the installation work was complete. We are not new to the home renovation and flooring installation process. We have installed hardwood flooring and carpeting in six other homes in three different cities and have never experienced these types of issues with other flooring companies. We brought these matters to the attention of the owner and expected an apology at the very least. What we received instead was a call from the owner's son saying he would not comment on our issues.

Jeff Furer was so kind and gave me time to go through different options throughout the store. He didn't rush me and didn't mind that I didn't spend a lot of money. He treated me with respect and was a true professional. I did buy buy some material and would use him again. I would highly recommend him.

They gave us an estimate and said it would be good for about a month. We made some changes on the work we wanted done and they called us and make the revisions within 24 hours. They were timely. It is a small operation and their showroom has a real nice selection of stock. The salesman was really helpful and gave us options to look at and gave us some new ideas to look at on how we could do things. It took a little longer that we expected, but it ended up that the installer was really working on making the floors so they would not squeak because it is an older home. The quality of the work is excellent. We still don't have any squeaks. It is beautiful and changed the whole look of the four rooms and hallway. Their estimate was accurate. They were local and willing to accept our change orders. We are planning to use them again.

Everything went smoothly. We picked out and ordered the hardwood flooring and stair treads. When the materials came in, we scheduled to have the work completed. Rob was our hardwood floor installer. He did an awesome job. He was a very steady, hard worker and took his time in picking out and placing the different sized pieces so that the variation in the wood really came out. Our floors are beautiful!We supplied the 1/4 round molding and Rob cut it and installed it. He was great at cleaning up after himself and was mindful that we had two children running around when he wasn't there. He made sure all tools were put away, out of the way and that there were no nails/staples from the removed carpeting exposed that might catch their toes. I can't say enough about Rob and the job that he did. We'll eventually put more hardwood flooring throughout our home and will definitely request to have Rob install it. The only snag in this process was at the very end. The only thing left to be done was to have about 4 ft of carpet tucked into the hardwood flooring. Greg from R&R Products called to let us know when the carpet guy was going to be here to do that. The carpet man did arrive on time and got the job done very quickly, however, I just happened to check my online banking balance that same afternoon and noticed that the balance due on this job had already been charged to my account before the carpet man had even arrived. I didn't like the fact that R&R charged the balance due to my debit card without my permission or that they did it before the job was totally finished. Luckily we had the money in the account to cover the cost. If we hadn't, it would have been a big problem. I'll make sure next time to pay by check to be on the safe side. I would have made a bigger deal out of it in this report, but our floors look so great it compensated a little for it. We really love our floors!

The estimate was the best price we had gotten so we decided to use them. So we called them on a Saturday morning and asked them what their hours were. We drove all the way down there to look at the flooring within the hours they had told us and everything was locked up. So we called them and said we wanted to meet with them. They never called us back.

This is a great company to work with. Staff is knowledgeable. Installers were courteous, professional, timely and skilled. Installers stayed late that evening to complete the job as promised in one day (without even being asked by us). Price is less expensive compared to some quotes around the Indy area for the same exact carpet. The price savings were certainly worth the 1 hour drive (one way) to Danville. I would use this company again in the future.

I was out of town when the work was done, and I was a bit nervous doing that. So I cant comment a lot on that aspect. When I did get home I was absolutely satisfied, they did an excellent job. It was like no one was even in my house but there was new tile there. There was a little dust but who cares about that, just part of the job. I had painted 1/4 molding and I was worried a little about repainting that and repairing nail holes but its like I cant tell it was off. I am a bit of a picky person too. So I cant say enough good things with my experience with them.

ALL OF THE STAFF AT INTERNET FLOORING WAS INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL. CAME OUT AND MEASURED. QUOTE CAME WITHIN 24 HOURS VIA FAX FROM R&R. GREG WHO DOES THE QUOTE AND SCHEDULES INSTALLATION WAS VERY HELPFUL. DID PROMISE TO COME BACK AND NAIL DOWN A PC. OF THE WOOD FLOORING THAT HAS POPPED UP BEFORE THANKSGIVING,THE PROMISE WAS MADE WHEN MAKING THE BALANCE OF THE PAYMENT IN FULL. HAVE LEFT 2 MESSAGES AND NOT HAD A CALL BACK TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AFTER SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE. CURRENTLY HAVE A SMALL RUG OVER THE PC. SO NOBODY DOES NOT GET HURT.

CARPET WAS RECEIVED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. SALESMAN SHOWED US PRODUCTS THAT FIT OUR NEEDS AND DID NOT BASE SAMPLES ON PRICING. SECOND TIME TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR CARPETING NEEDS. FOUND THEM TO HAVE LOWEST PRICE WHEN COMPARISON SHOPPING.

DARRELL WAS GREAT AND RESPONDED TO EVERY NEED. WE KNEW WE WERE ON A TIGHT SCHEDULE TO GET ALL THE WORK DONE BEFORE WE NEEDED TO MOVE IN. I THINK DARRELL'S INVOLVEMENT WITH THE SUBCONTRACTOR HELPED INSURE THE JOB WAS DONE ON TIME. VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH THE QUALITY OF THE CARPET AND THE QUALITY OF THE INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLERS LEFT SOME OLD CARPET BEHIND BECAUSE THEY SAID THEIR TRUCK WAS FULL. UPSET ME A LITTLE, BUT OUR REGULAR GARBAGEMEN TOOK IT AWAY, SO IT WASN'T A BIG DEAL.

I WAS FRUSTRATED INITIALLY BECAUSE EVERY TIME I CALLED THEM I TALKED TO A DIFFERENT PERSON. IF I WENT THERE IN PERSON I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM TO GET OFF THE PHONE OR THEY WOULD INTERRUPT MY BUSINESS TO TAKE LENGTHY PHONE CALLS. I CONTINUED TO STICK WITH THE COMPANY BECAUSE THEY HAD WHAT I WANTED IN STOCK. THEY INSTALLED THE VINYL AND I WAS NOT SATISFIED. IT DID NOT LAY SMOOTH AND HAD LOTS OF BUMPS OR WAFFLES IN IT. THE INSTALLER TOLD ME THEY SHOULD DISAPPEAR IN A DAY OR TWO. WHEN THEY WERE STILL THERE AFTER ONE WEEK AND MY TOILET STARTED LEAKING AFTER THEY HAD REMOVED IT TO INSTALL THE VINYL I CALLED THEM. THEY DID REMOVE THE FLOOR AND INSTALL NEW VINYL. THEY REPLACED THE TOILET AGAIN AND IT LEAKED THE SECOND TIME TOO. I AM HAPPIER WITH MY VINYL AND THEY DID COME TO FIX THE SECOND LEAK. I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE INSTALLER WAS GREAT AND DID A GOOD JOB. I FEEL LIKE THE OTHERS DO NOT WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM AS I WAS CONSTANTLY TELLING 'MY STORY' TO SOMEONE NEW.
