Larrison Contracting

"I am writing in response to your client, [member name removed] complaint. I have owned and operated Larrison Contracting for 28yrs. In that time we have been complaint free with the Better Business Bureau, and had good workmanship reports filed with your organization. [member name removed] and Larrison Contracting have a contract for the work completed at [member address removed] for $7,500.00 of which I have spent 75% toward the project. He paid a required deposit of 50% $3,750.00. I called [member name removed], Shortly after signing the contract, with a start date for the project. He let me know that no work would be started unless he was present. I reworked our start date to accommodate his work schedule. The work crew w/lead installer was on the job nine consecutive work days. [member name removed] inspected the work each day and only mentioned one item which the crew leader addressed and corrected the very next day. [member name removed] expressed no complaint until the last day of work. The supply company was picking up material left over from the completion of the project and the crew was cleaning up. [member name removed] stopped the supplier from picking up material and told the crew and the supplier driver that “Nothing is leaving the job site”. The crew finished there work and piled all the trash by the good material. I met with [member name removed], he had a written list of 40+ items of which, when he tried to locate on the house, was unable to find all items. [member name removed] told me he wanted all siding reinstalled, and all the nail holes in the house wrap repaired. No work was to be done unless he was present. [member name removed] is not retired so work would need to be done after 4:00 pm. We are talking at least 4-5 days for the crew working all day. I have little hope that this exercise will get us any closer to a resolution. I believe that [member name removed] intent is to get this work done for free. [member name removed] has received a high quality CertianTeed vinyl siding installed on his home which looks great, even his neighbors told him so. I am not willing to return [member name removed] deposit or am I willing to go through the exercise of removing and reinstalling the siding while he is watching, only to have him present a new list of complaints. I AM willing to drop the final payment of $3,750.00 and both sign a contract release."
