He did his best to straighten the door and replaced the cord. Overall it went well. He was prompt and professional. Got the job done in about an hour. After that I recommended my aunt use him for her garage door and she had a great experience with him as well. I would definitely recommend his services.

This was a routine check, and they came within one business day. Very professional and friendly, answered all my questions and concerns. I've used them since they installed the door in 2000. I will continue to use and recommend. $95 for service call, lube rollers, springs, and adjusted tension, updated settings on opener. $56 install new weather stripping.

I went through my home warranty so I can't elaborate on pricing. The guys from Dearing were very accommodating to my time and situation. They arrived same day and had the problem fixed on the spot. Quick and straight forward. I didn't catch the names of the technicians, but they answered any questions I had and advised as needed.

The provider came assessed the problem and repaired. We had to have our garage door opener reprogrammed. They were professional, honest, and cordial. They went above and beyond what we initially called on them to repair. Once they completed the work on the garage door opener, they checked both garage doors and made necessary adjustments to ensure both doors were working properly. Would hire them for future needs!

They were so great from the initial point of contact. So kind and prompt! I'm not actually sure of the exact cost of repair as we have a home warranty, $100 is just our deductible. They were in and out within about 20 minutes. And were so kind to my inquisitive 2 year old daughter! Definitely added bonus points for that!

I called on Monday with a broken door opener and they were here on Tuesday to replace it.  Couldn't have asked for any quicker turn-around.

Our garage door was damaged in a tornado. Doug Dearing showed up within 24hours of contact to give an estimate. Estimate was fair and reasonable. Our door color was not standard, so there was a wait for the door. Within the wait period that was given the door came in and we were called to schedule installation. Installers showed up on time, and worked quickly and professionally. The door and opener are great. They work well and the door looks nice. Would recommend Dearing Overhead Doors.

Doug was more than helpful in getting our garage door fixed. The spring broke at some point in the evening effectively locking both of our cars in the garage. Fortunately we were able to get it open enough to pull the cars out but the door probably weighed 300-400 pounds and was nearly impossible to move without the assistance of the spring. They came out within 24 hours but unfortunately Doug wasn't able to open the door on his first visit. Luckily he was able to fit us in the schedule very shortly after that and fixed the problem promptly and all without anyone needing to be at the home.

Did a good job. Had some challenges in getting the doors on different frequencies.

The serviceman fixed my opener and it worked beautifully. He did an extremely good job. Didn't even charge me for fixing the opener!

Very polite and helpful. Were able to come out the next day. Identified the problem right away. Not only fixed the garage door with the problem but serviced all my other garage doors as well (4 in all).

Dearing was on time and did the work in an orderly fashion. It was only about a 10 minute job. I was not impressed however, by the personality of the technician. I believe there is a mannerly way to instruct the home owner as to the maintenance that they can do to keep the products (in this case a garage door) running correctly. Dearing's technician did not have this quality. The information he gave me was as if he was belittling my knowledge/ability. I am not sure I would have them come back for this reason. The garage door works fine, the work was done promptly, but I feel I should be treated as a customer not belittled.

Doug was a pleasure to work with. I never met the man in person. It was all over the phone. Here is the bottom line: He is prompt. Follows-through on his commitments. Returned my calls--the others failed to do so -- unbelievable! All work completed as scheduled. He honestly tells you what needs to be done without giving you a line. My only regret -- I didn't meet him in person. The best I can do is recommend him...he's price competitive and is trustworthy. In this world--that's a great business model! Give him a call.

WE THOUGHT WE MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK FOR HIM TO COME OUT, BUT HE WAS THERE FOR US IN TWO DAYS. HE IS A VERY HONEST PERSON. DOES NOT TRY TO SELL YOU PARTS OR REPLACEMENT DOOR THAT YOU DO NOT NEED. VERY REASONABLE PRICE. DOES A GREAT JOB AND DOES IT QUICKLY. WAS AT OUR HOUSE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE THERE. DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR HIM ALL DAY TO SHOW UP. HAVE, AND WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND HIM TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. GREAT DOING BUSINESS WITH HIM.

SHOWED UP AS PROMISED ON TIME. FINISHED JOB WITHIN 3 HOURS AND LEFT AREA AFTER CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

DOUG WAS AWESOME!!! I WAS ONE HOUR FROM LEAVING TOWN FOREVER, AND MY HOUSE WAS ON THE MARKET TO BE SOLD. ''HOME'' WAS 1300 MILES AWAY, SO ANY DELAY IN INDY WOULD MEAN STAYING AN EXTRA NIGHT ON THE WAY, AND I HAD COMMITMENTS I NEEDED TO BE HERE FOR. THE GARAGE DOOR WOULD NOT MOVE, AND THE OPENER WAS NOT RESPONDING TO THE BUTTON OR TO THE REMOTE. I CALLED DOUG AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION, AND HE CAME RIGHT OUT. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY, AND COMPLETELY SERVICED THE DOOR AS WELL, EVEN GREASING THE SPRING. HE WAS EXTREMELY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND PERSONABLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM OVER THE ''BIG GUYS'' IN A HEARTBEAT!

THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, WERE VERY GENTLEMANLY, NEAT, CLEAN, SHOWED ME WHAT THEY HAD DONE, AND LEFT THEIR NUMBERS WITH ME SO I COULD CONTACT THEM IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM.
