Had a great experience working with Matt and would vouch for him to anyone. A good guy, who does good work, and was always a pleasure to talk to as well. Very happy with how our project turned out, and he definitely earned my trust.

I was extremely pleased with the whole process! Mr. Albers was very prompt in responding to my inquiry and request for an estimate. When he arrived to do the estimate, he listened to what I wanted done as we walked around the house; he made suggestions as to additional things he could do to improve the appearance of the areas I wanted done; and he gave his reasons for any alternate product or procedure he suggested in lieu of what I had in mind. His estimate met with my approval, and he said he would call the day before coming to do the job. He actually let me know several days in advance of his team coming out. They arrived at the time he indicated they would, and within 6 hours the work was done. They cleaned out the planting beds, mulched them, trimmed several bushes, took down a couple of dead limbs from our oak trees, mulched around the front oaks and planted a new lace leaf Japanese maple. I was ECSTATIC with the results! They were friendly, efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and did a wonderful job. Before they left, I told Mr. Albers that I would definitely be calling him again next spring. I've also enjoyed the compliments of our neighbors!

Outstanding work! Bill was quick to respond to my inquiry and to provide an estimate. He provided plenty of examples, suggestions, instructions and explanation for the design. He went through the process and followed through with no hitches, no surprises. Matt & his crew were awesome! Showed up on time, very quick and efficient, very friendly and easy to work with. This was the third or fourth year that I have had them mulch my plant beds and the first year that I have had them do the cleaning and planting.  I was quite pleased with the quality of the work that Adam and his crew did.  I plan to continue using them for my landscaping work.  Adam is there to do the work along with the rest of the guys and he will see that the work is done properly.

They cam in at 8 and were out before 5. They were friendly and professional. I was very satisfied.

Bill and Matt did a great job.  I primarily wanted to get rid of the remains of a very large maple I had removed from next to the driveway.  They also reshaped the land to provide drainage away from the drive and garage. They did a couple of extras like remove a small stump on the other side of the house.  Grass came up and filled in quickly and the whole thing looks great.  And bonus, my problem of water running under the garage door when it rains is almost eliminated, so I don't need to install a new driveway.

Matt arrived exactly at 8:30 A.M. as promised and went right to work with a Stihl gas hedge trimmer.  He continued right on thru lunch time as there was the threat of rain that day and he wanted to complete the job so he didn't have to leave and come back another day.  He completed the job about 1:30 P.M. including raking up and hauling away the clippings.   Matt sculptured each bush and did an excellent job.  I was completely pleased and will definitely call them again next year.

We have two sweet gum trees in our tree lawn with limbs that extend out over the street.  The lower limbs on these two trees overhang the street and were subject to being hit by higher vehicles.  We have a wild cherry tree in our side yard which had lower limbs which drooped over our driveway and often scraped our son's truck when parking on the driveway.  The lower limbs on the sunset maple tree in the front yard obscured our vision of the street and were a nuisance when mowing the lawn. A second much older Maple tree in the back yard had more than the average number of dead limbs in it which needed to be removed.  Bill Albers and his son Matt went right to work at 8:30 A.M. on June 18, 2013 and approximately five hours later they were all done.  Our yard looked so much better.  Their charge for this work was $1500. exactly as estimated earlier.  My wife and I were completely satisfied with the Albers workmanship and with what we feel was a fair price for the size of this job and the expertise required to do it right.  Sure we would have liked to have paid less for this work; however,  our satisfaction is obvious as we have already arranged for the Albers to trim all the bushes in our yard after July 4th, 2013.

I called 5 landscaping companies for quotes telling each of them I wanted low maintenance shrubs/trees/perennials along the side of the house and  patio as well as a living privacy screen along one side of the patio.  The quotes ranged from $3500 to $8000.  Granted, the prices do reflect the amount of plants each company had designed for the area.  William Albers was able to come out within 24 hours, listened to what I wanted, and produced a quote within 30 minutes.  His design was exactly what we were looking for.  His design took into account the plants already around the house so his landscaping blends in perfectly.  He also took the time to explain why some of our other plants were not doing as well as we would like.  His original quote was $4900 and included a mulch that would decompose into dirt, instead of the chemically treated wood chips I had in the front yard that would never decompose.  I asked him to include a price for removing the mulch in the front yard and replacing it with the mulch he was going to use for the new landscape and that added another $300 to the total.  He took the time to explain how much water was needed and how to prune the arbor vitaes so that they fill out more to produce the privacy screen we wanted on that side of the patio.  He added top soil to help smooth out the uneven landscape on that side of the house, and covered it with straw.  He also gave me a credit off my bill when he realized after looking at the arbor vitaes at the nursery that he wouldn't need as many as he thought.  This is a family run local business, and I found them to be a hidden jewel!

When I talked to Bill Albers about the trimming, I said that I did not want the trees topped and that I like the natural shape of trees. I admit that I was a little concerned as I was not home when they did the trimming. When I came home, the trees were still their same natural beautiful shape. The only thing missing was the branches that were causing trouble and the trees were gracefully shaped. I was and am thrilled!!!

The work exceeded my expectations. Bill Albers is a very accommodating and personable man. They were exactly on time both days and the cleanup was exceptional. The plants are of good quality, the flowerbeds look wonderful, the pruning was perfect and results are breathtaking. I have recommended Albers Landscaping to my friends and will use them again.

(WOW!) The plants are of good quality, the flowerbeds look wonderful and the cleanup was exceptional. I have more landscaping to be completed in the spring and look forward to Albers Landscaping coming out again.

Mr. Alber's was punctual and very efficient. He provided experienced advice and left all trees with their natural appearance. He and crew cleaned up & removed all debris.

Bill Albers was very helpful in making recommendations when I didn't quite know what to do with an area, but was also respectful if I did not wish to go with one of his recommendations; not "pushy." He and his crew were very punctual and did a thorough and top notch job with all of the work done. It looked great and I even got an unsolicited compliment from my neighbor across the street. He was as impressed with their work ethic as the appearance.

He has been working for me since 1970. He has done a lot of work for me over the years. He's very good with being on time appointments. He also does spraying of evergreens. He is also very good at landscaping.

Will spray for insects where needed. Very prompt, will get it done in 2 days, providing it doesn't rain. Well worth the extra money.

We built a new home. Bill came out and made suggestions on what to plant in our new yard. He planted beautiful plants and trees. It turned out really nice. His crew, which are his 2 sons, are very hard workers and professional. Got the job done in a timely manner which we liked. I would definitely hire him again.

Bill and his two sons Mark Albers and Matt Albers arrived shortly after I left for work in the morning and by the time I came home I had a whole new front yard. No mess was left. No dirt in the driveway or street. Everything was hosed down and clean. All the old trees and bushes were taken out and replaced with new trees, shrubs and flowering plants. All new mulch. Neighbors all commented on how great everything looked and how fast they were able to complete the job. Very professional company. They all came back at a later date and did the back yard. Put in new beds and trees around the patio area. Everything looks great and I would recommend this company to anyone. Everything was done in a timely and very professional manner. Were able to answer any questions I had regarding any of the plants and trees that were planted.
