I had bought two of these not knowing I could not use both of them myself. He agreed to let me do it though. When using the second one he finished the job in 1.5 hours but then asked me for more money. I told him no because I paid for 3 hours but only used him for half that time. It didn't make sense that he would ask for more money.

He was A, everything that he did. Oh, yes I would use Baas Cabinets & Remodeling again. He couldn't put in the new countertop because he found that it was shipped to me with some damage and then when I had the new one shipped to me, he had prepared it well enough that I was able to put it in myself. 

I liked the end result, there's no doubt that he's a skilled carpenter. However, as a business, he's clueless. I will absolutely not use them again.

They were pretty good. They are coming back next month.

Had some issues with communications via email. Workmanship was outstanding. Appreciated that they took their time with meticulous cuts and detailed work to get it right.

  John and his co-worker were right on time and quickly went to work replacing the baseboards which had been removed. They finished the job very fast and did an excellent job.  They cleaned the area and even prepared the boards for painting later on.  Great job!  We would hire them again for any wood work we may need done.  Thanks, Ron.

Excellent work.

Did several of items on my to-do list around my cabinets. The work went very well and he got more done than I expected to.

It went great!  When installing the cabinets, John quickly realized that the kitchen designer had made an error in measurement and things weren't going to work out as planned.  John quickly came up with a solution and saved the day. 
Our main contractor on the kitchen remodel walked away from the project and we had John finish up.  He did the finish carpentry, designed a new mantel for our fireplace, and built the new storage cubby in the front hallway.  The mantel and the cubby were things that he designed from scratch and we *love* them.  He has a great skill of being able to look at something and come up with solutions that work the first time. 
All throughout the process, John was a pleasure to work with.  He's easy to talk with, can explain things in a way that a layman can understand, and was very reasonable price-wise.  Since that time we have also recommended him to a few people where he's done work.
All in all, we can't recommend John highly enough.  He's certainly at the top of our list for when we have another home project.

John worked closely with my wife to design each project and delivered great work in a timely fashion. We have been extremely happy with every project we have used John on.

Mr. Baas did an excellent job! There is a tremendous amount of fence in the Village Pines Commnity. Prior to the fence being painted, the fence had to be bleached. All the fence was bleached without doing any damage to the residents property. This was not an easy job!!! Mr. Baas also replaced any fence that had warped planks. He is the absolute best at what he does! He is professional and he cares about his customers! Additionally, Mr. Baas is timely!! Mr. Baas also painted my patio set which was in horrible condition! It looks just like new! I have also seen other work Mr, Baas has completed and he is really the best at what he does!!!!

John Baas performed the work.  I describe to him what I wanted done and he understood and was able to complete the job at a very high level of quality.  The work is done in a quality way and very little is direction is needed to get the work done.  He understands how to perform the prep work that is critical to making sure that the end result has a high degree of fit and finish.
John performed the 'tear out' part of the work, designed the end result, purchased materials, and came to the job prepared.  
 The overall professionalism is excellent.  Good appearance, well spoken, and comfortable working persona.  He arrives with the appropriate tools and knows how to complete the job steps appropriately.
John asks questions about how you want the finishing touches handled.  Examples include where you want hinges or door pulls.  He double-checked on the location of the opening from kitchen to living room to make sure he built it out the way I wanted it.
