THE COMPUTER DOCTOR

Every interaction with The Computer Doctor has been pleasant and relieved stress due to the quick fix and easy explanation as to what was wrong and what was done.

Carl has handled our problems in person when necessary as well as remotely in an efficient and professional manner. Our business completely relies on properly functioning computers and Carl has always been there for us when we needed him.

Computer Doctor installed additional Ram and found issues within a software program that had our computer running at a snail pace.  We have taken a yearly maintenance agreement  which allows access  remotely.  They have since fixed problems from that remote access.

Carl has been our internet person for almost 25 years. He has assisted us numerous times through the years with our small home based business computers as well as our personal computers. We have always been able to count on Carl to fix our various problems and advise us when it was time to replace computers and external hard drives. He is knowledgeable about numerous systems and able to efficiently deal with critical problems in an efficient and cost effective manner. We have recommended Carl to several people through the years and they are also now his satisfied clients. We highly recommend Carl to help with any computer issues.

Because the computer remained very slow, and because the Computer Doctor suggested I get an Apple Computer, I ordered a new Macbook Air to replace it.   After ordering the new computer, I started checking out the old one.   Found out he had not erased any old temporary memory files or recycle or anything else associated with maintenance and that was the problem.  
I like my new Apple computer and it is a lot faster.   However, the other computer is working fine now due to my own efforts, not the Computer Doctors.   I am not a computer expert.   Yet, I accomplished more on my own than with his expertise.   He was reasonably polite and courteous.   However, he was not knowledgeable and that was what I needed most.  Fortunately, I am in a financial position where ordering a new, but unnecessary, computer was not oppressive.   However, anyone not very secure financially would likely be annoyed at best.   I would not call him again.

I've had very good service on both occasions. When I called, he called me back right away within 24 hours. He usually comes within a 48-hour period from my original phone call. He is good at diagnosing the problem and repairing it promptly. I would us him again without hesitation and I would recommend him without hesitation.

I called in the morning and ''the doctor" came in the afternoon. He was very knowledgeable and seem familiar with my problem . He was also able to download some Microsoft updates I was having problems downloading. He gave me some tips on computer maintenance and suggested some programs to keep my computer free of spyware. He charges $80 an hour, but since he was here awhile longer the bill was $100. I would definitely call him again. If you are having computer problems call the 'Doctor"

Very professional. Always looking out for the amount of the bill. Communicating all along. Friendly and helpful. Tells in advance how much and how long. Comes to your home, goes right to work and lets you know what is going on. Came back and did additional work at no extra charge. At a time when we have come to expect not so great service, this was a very positive experience. I can recomend this business without reserve.

It is refreshing and reassuring to know a computer professional will make a "house call" and do the required repair in a timely fashion. Who says doctors don't make house calls anymore?
