Shortly before her death, my 96 year old Grandmother gave me her 1920s era beautiful solid brass floor lamp, in perfect condition. It had the original wiring, which I recently noticed was deteriorating very quickly exposing the copper wire. I was concerned about finding a reputable person to work on my antique lamp which has such sentimental value. When browsing Old Green Shutters Antiques on the Square in Crown Point, I saw their sign Lamp Repair; they said they repair all types of antique lamps. I am very handy and do most of my own wiring, but the configuration on this lamp was a little intimidating. They did a great job rewiring the lamp with its three regular lights (with a two-way switch) around one extra large bulb (with its own 3-way switch). I trusted them with my antique lamp and I am very pleased!
Description of Work: Rewired my antique floor lamp which has three regular bulbs w/ two-way switch around one extra large bulb w/ separate three-way switch.
