My fiancé decided to add on to the house and contracted with Bruce who appeared to give a reasonable price in the beginning. I manage million dollar companies and know a con when I see one and it became apparent half way through that we were definitely being conned. Bruce finds ways to add things but will not be forthcoming about the prices. He smiles a lot and attempts to be charming. When my fiancé confronted him about charges Bryce asked to speak to me, saying; "Women like me". I didn't know about the comment until after I'd met with Bruce or I would have told him how I felt about it. Bruce's idea of presenting charges comes in the form of a list of items on a piece of notebook paper. Then he will explain the many things that are not included. I told Bruce if I did business this way I wouldn't have a job. The quality of work is also terrible. The foundation is crooked and it's very evident when you stand back and look. The gutters now stick out from the house. Also, the roofing had leaks that my fiancé had to repair himself. Many times the workers didn't have the material or tools they needed and my fiancé had to go pick things up or allow them to use his. We also had to do our own clean up. There was never a dumpster on site but Bruce tried to charge $500. We gave Bruce a check at the beginning of the job and another half way through. Most contractors then get the balance upon completion of the job. Bruce and his partner kept badgering my fiancé for more money by making calls and showing up at our home. Also be aware that Bruce will not have his workers on the job every day. He has several jobs going so he has them work a day or two on one job and then the next so your project will not be completed on time. He will smile and give you excuses. If you want quality work at a reasonable price, look elsewhere. Do not trust this man.

Bruce told me it would take 3-4 weeks for all the work. They started in June and finished in September. They would not show up for two weeks straight. Tommy, his right hand, was very efficient and professional. Bruce was there a total of 4 days and never came in to check the finished product. I sent him drywall issues, via cell phone, that had to be fixed. I had no idea who the did the dry wall as we had never seen them before with Tommy or Bruce. After the drywall was done, I never saw them again. Tommy fixed the drywall and mudding issues in some areas.

We are pleased with the overall look of the room but, if you look closely, there are separations in the drywall, floor trim that is already lifting, and parts of the floor are sagging where the wall was removed.

The area in the basement that was fixed is already cracking.

The added French doors were the wrong style. I asked for windows and they installed solid. Then wanted to charge extra to get the doors I asked for. They never left knobs or drilled holes for hardware for the doors that they did leave on.

The countertops were delayed because Bruce said he would have his guy do it and then never did so I contacted Home Depot myself and had them complete the countertops.

I also purchased the floor myself and had Bruce reimburse me. The bank paid Price Point Builders for all the work and I had to call several times and wait for my part of the reimbursement.

Bruce is very knowledgeable and friendly. I feel he may have overcommitted himself on too many jobs and then had issues with crew showing up where needed. I would hire Tommy again for projects as he was helpful and his work was always good.

We were very impressed with Bruce and Brad and their professionalism. During their visit on 6/22/13, they took time to answer all of our questions, showed us samples of the materials that they would be using for the front porch and the back deck, and took some additional measurements for the porch. They left us with a brochure showing a picture of what our fence would look like. Both of these men are very friendly and personable, and we were confident that they were going to do a great job. We could have gone with another company for the fence because the price was lower, but decided to have Price Point Builders do it because of the quality of the materials. We also liked the fact that they require no payment until the work is completed and we are satisfied with everything. I knew exactly what I wanted the back deck to look like and Bruce and his work crew did not disappoint me. The front porch is almost the same as the one that was already there but was in bad shape. My husband and I are very pleased with all three of the finished products.

They are finishing the work now. So far the work was real good. I got what I asked for and I have no problems with them. They are very good. Their price is very good.
