Hays & Sons Complete Restoration

I contacted Hays and Sons per a recommendation from my insurance agent. She mentioned that she never used them or knew anyone who had but that they offered the type of service that I needed and that they consistently sent a representative into the office to promote their business. I called the (800) number on a Sunday to seek services for water damage to our home. The water mitigation manager called me right back and spoke at length of their services and what I could expect from working with them. He said that he would call me first thing Monday morning to establish a time to provide an estimate and look at the damages. Around 9am the following morning I received a call from their office asking who was my insurance company. I asked about the appointment but the rep said that she was only told to set up a file and that she would send an email to the person I spoke to the day before. I remembered that I had his cellphone number and called him directly. His tone of voice and enthusiasm that he had the day before was gone as he told me he wasn't sure of what time he'd be over because he was on another job and that it was more than he expected and that he also had another job after that so he didn't know what time he'd call but to sit tight. A few hours later he called me back and said that he was not going to make it because the other jobs were taking more time and that I was third in line to be seen. He also said that if I could find another company to do the work that I should. I asked if he had any suggestions and as I expected he said no. I thought the way that this was handled was unprofessional and a waste of time. I would not refer nor recommend this company or their flaky representatives to anyone that I know.
