"We had an excellent experience working with Robert Anthony from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout our kitchen remodel. His team completed our renovation on time, kept the workspace clean, and communicated with us every step of the way. The quality of the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, and you can truly tell they take pride in their work. "We hired Mitch to paint our house. We had a hard time finding someone to do it. I saw an ad on Facebook for McClovers cleaning with interior painting pictures of their work. I contacted them to see if they did exterior house painting. They are a family owned business and when we met to go over details I knew right away I wanted them to do the job. We had whether related issues to deal with so the job was put off til spring. Once Mitch was able to start he put his all into it! Very easy to work with and very eager to make the customer happy. I have seen pics off his other projects on their Facebook page and from what I’ve seen he’s a “Jack of all trades “ and does an amazing job! Will definitely call them again for projects!! Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Pressure-treated decks last 15 to 20 years on average, but with proper maintenance, you could get 40 to 50 years of value from yours. Reseal your deck every one to two years, and replace old or rotted wood as soon as possible to avoid structural damage. Where you live plays a role in the lifespan of your deck. Intense sunlight, rainfall, wind, and hail can reduce the deck’s lifespan.

Yes, you can build a pool deck yourself, but it takes precision, a lot of time, and many specific tools. You’ll need to create a deck plan, be careful with measurements, cut each piece of wood, secure the pieces properly, and ensure the deck meets building codes. Building a deck around a pool is a rewarding DIY, but it’s time- and labor-intensive, so thoughtfully consider your abilities and the time you have before embarking on this DIY.

Pavers are a great decking option for pools. They’re customizable, come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, textures, materials, and price points, and they’re slip-resistant. Concrete pool decks, on the other hand, are harder to repair and replace if damaged and aren’t as slip-resistant as most paver materials. However, not all pavers are equal in terms of durability, maintenance, and performance. Pavers also have their own cons that may encourage homeowners to opt for stamped concrete instead, such as higher upfront costs.

A wood deck requires annual cleaning and regular inspections for loose or broken boards, nails, and screws. It should be refinished by applying a stain or sealer every two to three years to protect the wood from water damage, rot, mildew, and sun fading. The exact frequency can depend on the climate and the deck's exposure to sun and moisture. If your deck is painted, it will need repainting approximately every 10 years. Signs that your deck needs refinishing include faded, splintering, or warping boards.

The average cost to professionally clean or pressure wash a deck is around $150, with prices typically ranging from $100 to $600. Several factors influence the final price, including the deck's size, material, condition, and how long it has been since its last cleaning. For a smaller deck of about 300 square feet, you might pay around $100. For a larger deck of 1,000 square feet or more, the cost could be closer to $300 to $400. Decks that are very dirty or haven't been cleaned in years may require more time and special detergents, which will increase the price. The deck's material also plays a role. Wood decks often cost more to clean because they require a gentle power washing technique to avoid damage. Composite decks are typically less expensive to clean, and cleaning a metal deck may cost around $100.
