"We had an excellent experience working with Robert Anthony from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout our kitchen remodel. His team completed our renovation on time, kept the workspace clean, and communicated with us every step of the way. The quality of the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, and you can truly tell they take pride in their work. They transformed our kitcjen beautifully and made the entire process smooth and stress-free for my family. We are beyond happy with our kitchen and we couldn’t recommended him more."

"Fantastic John and Jermel were ready to work the next day showed up on time, confirmed their quote based on the picture was accurate, and they quickly demolished the wall while protecting and safely removing the crown molding already there. Made very minimal dust and cleaned everything up afterwards. Would absolutely use again when I need more demo work done, and would definitely recommend to anyone for a quick clean demo job."

"We hired Mitch to paint our house. We had a hard time finding someone to do it. I saw an ad on Facebook for McClovers cleaning with interior painting pictures of their work. I contacted them to see if they did exterior house painting. They are a family owned business and when we met to go over details I knew right away I wanted them to do the job. We had whether related issues to deal with so the job was put off til spring. Once Mitch was able to start he put his all into it! Very easy to work with and very eager to make the customer happy. I have seen pics off his other projects on their Facebook page and from what I’ve seen he’s a “Jack of all trades “ and does an amazing job! Will definitely call them again for projects!! Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Your deck may pop, and your neighbor’s deck may not for a number of reasons. Whether or not a deck pops will depend on how it was made, the conditions it’s exposed to, and the materials. Improper spacing is a common reason for increased pressure between deck boards. Moisture penetration is another.

Hangers are one way of attaching stair stringers to a deck. These metal hangers are usually adjustable, allowing you to find the ideal angle for a secure installation. They’re the best choice for installing longer staircases, such as one on a two-story deck, to reduce the load on the deck frame while keeping the stairs stable.

Ultimately, overapplication of stain can compromise the deck's appearance, durability, and longevity. It may result in an uneven finish, with excess stain pooling, dripping, or drying into thick patches. It can also obscure the wood's natural grain and texture, detracting from the desired aesthetic. Moreover, excessive staining may not fully penetrate the wood, leading to poor adhesion and premature wear. Additionally, thick layers of stain are prone to peeling, cracking, and blistering as they struggle to bond with the surface.

You can add a roof to most decks, but you need to have it inspected first. If your deck didn’t come with a roof initially, it may not be able to handle the weight without some structural changes. You can add additional supports to your existing deck to safely add a roof, and tying your deck’s roof to an exterior wall can help add some structural stability, but remember these aren’t DIY projects and need to be left to a pro.

The best direction for a gate to swing depends on its location and purpose, but swinging inward is the general rule. An inward swing is often considered safer, prevents the gate from opening into public spaces like a sidewalk, and may be required by local building codes.

There are exceptions and specific considerations. If your property is on a slope, an inward swing might not be possible. For a deck gate, it's safest to have it swing away from any steps. In a backyard, the direction can be a matter of preference, though an inward swing can be helpful when carrying heavy items like a wheelbarrow into a garden.

Regardless of direction, ensure the gate can open fully without hitting any objects or blocking spaces. While an inward swing is standard, a gate that can swing both in and out offers the most flexibility if your setup allows for it.
