Well I’m defiantly not going to bash anyone’s name but I would

like to let everyone know about my experience with Kidd Appliance. We just

moved to the area and didn’t know many people but a friend highly recommended

me to them so they must be doing something good. When we first called they said

it would take about a week to get out to replace a part on our GE gas dryer

after the tech was finished I asked him to take a look at my GE Advantium

microwave. I had another tech from a different company tell me a few years ago

that it was the smart board that needed replaced. The microwave worked fine

except the display didn’t stay lite up all the time. We have used it for years

just like this. The tech that came out a few years ago said it would be about

200 to fix. I said it was working just fine and it wasn’t that big of deal so I

just dealt with it. Well when we moved I figured why not go ahead and get it

fixed. That’s when all the issues turned for the worse with this company. When

the tech looked at it I told him what I thought it was and what I was told

before and he agreed that’s what the problem was. He said it was going to be

around 175 for the part and then labor to install. I agreed to the price and

tech ordered part. I wasn’t home but my wife was when tech came out to fix it

he took the microwave apart put new part in and plugged it up and that didn’t fix

the problem. He agreed to not charge me for part just the labor to come out. He

said it could be the other board but the problem was he cut some wire that couldn’t

be repaired. He also broke off one of the latches that keeps the door closed. When I came home there was 14 screws and the

front cover was off the microwave and a piece that goes on the top was also

off. When I called to ask if someone

could come out to put it together that’s when the tech called me and was

yelling and screaming at me as if it was my fault he got in trouble at work. I

then called back and told the lady that answered the phone that I didn’t want

the original tech back out. She told me the owner would call me to discuss. He

and I talked and he came out to get microwave to take it back to the shop to

repair it. He called a week or two later and told me that it was unrepairable

and there was nothing that they could do for me.

Service man called to tell me he could come earlier than expected. He assessed the washer, repaired the lid switch, and replaced the agitator. He explained to me, in detail, what was wrong with my washer. He was very professional. Everyone I spoke with in the company was very friendly. I will definitely use them again with any future appliance issues.

After the repairman had done the inspection of my dishwasher, he reassembled it and put it back in place. He started it to run a cycle to see if the noise had stopped. The noise started up again even louder and he said the sound it was making was of the motor slowly dying. It finally made the grinding sound I had heard before he arrived and now he was able to hear it.
He offered me a price on a new motor which was good for 30 days if I wanted to replace it. I asked him his professional opinion if it was worth repairing or should I just trash it and purchase another one. He told me that 6 years is a good life any more for a dishwasher and this one was purchased in 2006 making it about the right time to malfunction.
He never tried to get me to buy a new appliance from his workplace so I knew he was being objective with his opinion. I have had the same repairman come out to look at my Whirlpool Duet front load washer. He was very helpful with my problem and had a good solution for it.
I have had other repairmen from the same store and all have been very professional and knowlegeable about the appliances. I would definitely have them repair any appliance I have. I highly recommend this group. If I purchase another appliance I don't have to worry about whom I will get to repair it. I really cannot say enough good things about their team.

First, they actually arrived early! The young man knew exactly what was causing the problem and repaired it quickly and efficiently. He also attached a copper wire to the heating element and ran the wire down into the drain so that it wouldn't freeze up again. The company gives a thirty-day guarantee, which is good, since you have a chance to make sure that the repair works. I will definitely use them again.

We have used them before because we have a warranty on our refrigerator. I think they are excellent! Our washing machine is doing what it is supposed to do and it agitates now that is for sure! They came out the next day after we called and it only took them about fifteen minutes to get it fixed. I am really pleased with their price as well.
