CLASSIC DETAIL LLC

I was visiting a friend for a few days and decided to have my car detailed. I dropped it off for the day and they did a wonderful job. Very detailed clean and great customer service all the way from start to finish.

Excellent job at a price that was very reasonable. He actually worked me into the schedule that fit my schedule. When I went to get the Motorcycle, Everything was Great. It was cleaned in places that I never thought were possible to get to. I have been here many times for detailing and window tinting. Every time Great Service and good prices!

I brought my company car, a 2003 Honda Accord, in to Classic Auto Detail because their rate was competitive and their location was convenient. I take very good care of the vehicle, so it was pretty clean to begin with, but the body hadn't had a good waxing in several years, and the windows had that film that builds up over time. (We don't smoke, so it wasn't a tobacco film.)
I picked it up after closing and was very unsatisfied with the results. The windows were all streaked, and some places were obviously not even touched. The body of the vehicle was all smudged from compounds that were not completely wiped off. The body also had a multitude of spots that were never rubbed out. They were not embedded in the finish because when I rubbed my fingernail over them to see, they came off. There was also a scuff mark where another car had opened their door against mine in a parking lot that didn't rub out.
I called back the next morning and very politely told them I wasn't satisfied with the quality. The girl listed to my concerns, which I voiced politely and with civility, but offered no recourse. I expected her to ask me to bring it back so they could make things right, but there was just silence on the line when I finished. So I then asked if I could bring it back in for them to finish the job, she said they were too busy that day, but might be able to work it in in a few days. Then came her excuses. She said she could only clean the windows, though, because the spots on the body were from and quot;acid rain.and quot; She said they only attempt to rub out spots if the customer requests it, and it would be an additional charge.
I said and quot;detailingand quot; meant paying attention to details, and that the average consumer wouldn't know what spots from and quot;acid rainand quot; looked like, and wouldn't know that removing them would require a special request. She was clearly unwilling to take a look at the vehicle again, and only dug in deeper in defense. She had an opportunity to show she cared about my experience, but made no attempt to convert me to a satisfied customer. The paper floor mat they put on the driver's-side floorboard reads and quot;a customer is the most important person in the world to us. Your suggestions for improving our service are always welcome.and quot; That may be true, but don't expect Classic Detailing to make things right.
For $155, I expected the car to be spotless, but it wasn't. They have no interest in satisfying a disappointed customer. Classic Detail in Corydon, Indiana is a glorified car wash.
