About us
I work as a general contractor and for smaller jobs I take care of myself. I only hire subcontractors who have proof of insurance and if they are plumbers or electricians they must have a current valid license as required by the state of Indiana. As a general contractor I am registered with Batrholomew county planning and zoning dept., my I.D. # is 8189. In Bartholomew county there is no "contractors license" offered or required unless you are a plumber or an electrician. My billing procedure is as follows: On smaller jobs it is pay in full when job is finished to the customers satisfaction and in accordamce with the quote and contract that the customer and I have aggreed upon and signed. On larger jobs an advance payment is usually requested with the balance paid on completion. On multi-stage remodeling or room additions that take an extended period of time milestone payments will be set up. "THE HOME CRAFTSMAN" is fully insured by State Farm Ins. and my agent is Al Furlani. I am offering a 5% discount to Angies List Members and senior citizens (over 65 yrs. old)
